I am at The gallows before Lional Castle in Chapter 2. I am having a hard time defeating all enemies, all my units are 25+ and the enemies are in the teens i.e. lvl 15, and im still losing. I have a Knight (ramza) 2 dragoons an archer and black mage. What am I doing wrong?

Disarm Luso's Crystal Helm and put it on Ramza. and equip him also with Chameleon Robe..
the others...optimize there items...abilities should be if they are:
Squire:Stone and Focus
Chemist:Pistol, X-potion, Phoenix Down
Knight:Parry,Rend MP
Archer:Bow,Aim+5
Black Mage:Flare,lots of MP
White Mage:Holy,Raise or Arise
Time Mage:Meteor,Slow or Slowja,Swiftness
Mystic:don't use in battle
Summoner:Cyclops,Titan,Lich
Orator:Pistol,Entice
Monk:Revive,Aurablast
Thief: don't use
Geomancer:Contortion,Nature's Wrath
Dragoon:H.Jump 5 ,V.Jump 5
Samurai:Shiradori
Ninja:Reflexes

Strategy:
1on1 with Wiegraf:Ramza should be a Knight or Samurai with a Geomancer requirement....attack from the side of Wiegraf or keep using Geo attacks or Jumps...

Belias the Gigas battle:use contortion to his minions so they have a chance to be petrified....if knight...attack from the back and PRESS X as fast as you can before the weapon can reach Gigas to perform a Critical Strike...if Geo keep using contortion...

Party build:Ramza(Knight,Samurai,Monk or Dragoon),
a black mage or white mage(I prefer white)Archer or Mustadio,black chocobo(always put in battle),Agrias(if she has Hallowed Bolt)...Summoner with Time Mage Requirements...

Start of battle:quickly use Contortion on his minion only focus only on one until petrified and move to the next....
white mage: holy attack on Belias
black mage:flare or thunder attacks to Belias
Mustadio or Archer:Support Ramza
Agrias:keep using Hallowed bolt on Belias
Summoner:Slow on Belias and keep using titan
black chocobo:get away from the rest of your party and 4 tiles away from Belias before performing a choco pellets...

p.s.
the reason why I rather petrify the minions rather than letting them decompose and leaving a crystal behind is because...Belias can get them and absorb it T_T...and he has more than 1300 hp so bring a calculator.... once finish on petrifying his minions.... give Belias a Barrage of punishing,unforgettable attacks...
