When you click on the altars, it will open your inventory. Right in the quest items, just double click on the candles or drag them to drop and it happens automatically.

Kill his worshipers. When you do that it takes away from Dagon as you can't kill him directily.

How do you kill the bounty hunter in the witcher?

A1:

Good one. Normally you can't. Even if you do, they'll just send another one after you and you will eventually die. Even maxed out cheating I had a hard time killing the first one. The solution is to not give anyone a reason to send one after you in the first place.

Hi Silly question but I'm just trying to get started How do I "activate the winch" in the first scene obviously I'm going to need this action again and when I point I still have the sword showing

A1:

If the sword is still showing it just means you're still in fight mode. wait a minute (less than a minute), and a hand icon should show up. then right click.

Sorry for such a stupid one but I'm trying to get started and I can't "activate" opening the gate in the opening sequence the curser doesn't alter where ever I place it I suppose I will need this when I get into the game so please help

How do I make potions? All potions have an x on them even though I have all the engredients.

A1:

I've never had this problem but I have some guesses
it might be that you don't have the source (the spirit or alcohol) that you need as a base for potions? (or suet or grease for oils)...
or it might mean that you haven't selected the ability to create potions or oils yet (there are skills that you need to check in the skills tree).

How do you kill the kikimore queen toward the end of level 3 ( I am in the cave, have blocked the tunnel but can't kill the queen & it is very frustrating. do I need a potion ? ) thanks for helping.

A1:

Dont use first sign untill the kikimore is in the room and you're at the other end, the end with the chest. the entire room will collapse and she will die, letting you loot her and the chest and then continue on to the next chapter. if you can I deeply recommend meditating, making potions and giving dendilion unnessesary stuff because you'll do alot of killing and looting in the next chapter and need space and help.

How do you open the mage tower door?

A1:

U must get all sure orbs you get one on starting of the 2. chapter as you enter the city after you kill the monster in sewers you must find some tall stones in the swamp after you swim in a boat with a man that leads you to the swamp its outside the city a old man will be there and a quest wil start to lead him to da alar or what there is one of the stones pud you need the crystals and the name must be same like ket`zah stone there must be used ket`zah crystal HERE U GO if you activate all da stones with the crystals the mage tower will unlock
