You have to be the same level as the vine and swing hard enough to catch it
A2:
Look at the vine from the window ledge turn slightly right you need to jump to that ledge on the wall then move along till the vine is in reach

You face all of them in the direction that the book says (match the names to the north south east and west) except for the lion I think his name is mark turn him until you get it

A1:
Take cover behind the boxes, let him shoot them twice. Before he shoots the third time roll and take cover behind the next set. When the third set gets destroyed he reloads and you run up to him quickly and smack him before he does. Then do it again quickly when he pushes you over.
Q:When outside the castle swinging from vine,can,t reach ledge and keep falling. trying to make it into the castle to meet alana. was wondering how do I reach the ledge?
A1:
You have to time the jump from the vine to ledge very well. Try practicing your timing jumping off the vine in the safe direction, when you see Drake's body fully extend on the jump as opposed to going almost straight down then you'll know you timed the jump right.
A2:
Try going up a bit and jump and its about your timing.
