We're stuck somewhere in the Washing DC level on a boat. You have to stand on a panel and then try and run to the opposite side of a broken bridge and hit something else. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I'm stuck on top of a cliff in the Crater Lake Location. This is the part where you climb to the top of a ledge with plants and little holes in the ground that shoot fire. There is a spot that is yellow and black, but not a ramp. I assume you use Cannonbolt to get from that ledge to another. You cannot see what is on the other side and no matter what I do I just fall to the bottom. Please help!?
