OK first off, your talking about Overdrive, second, press select on the guitar or tilt the end of the guitar up and there you go, overdrive. To go into overdrive on drums, there are gonna be some hollow notes sometimes, bang on your drums and at the end of the hollow notes hit the green pad. And for Vocals, when it shows a gold bar on the lyrics just scream or yell anything and you got overdrive. -Answer by:CheatAgent101

I had the same problem with the game not working, the new dicsc hav a think film over them to prevent people from copyright. I used rubbing alcohol a few times and the game works just fine

You go to the tittle srceen and type in a cheat
You have to have a a regular controller in one of the ports
Just plug it in to the itoy slot just like the guitar
Use the standard PS2 controlled to active the mic, adjust volume, etc ... (or read the manual - it tells you this :)
For mic use ps2 controller
Make sure there is a controller plugged into the port, then put the microphone into the USB port, make sure the Rock Band disk is in, and turn it on... U should be able to figure it out from there.

Do it faster or keep trying it will work.
Type it in the modify game menu which is located in Extras. Once you click modify game click Cheat Code then put in the code. When your done go back to the modify game screen and go down until you see the code you just put in then place a check in the box.
Did you use the drums for it? you have to do it fast and not mess up once
They are either on the track pack or they downloaded them
They have a modded ps2 and a burned copy of RockBand and custome songs on it. and to mod a ps2 is VERY illegal. (so don't try...)

You enter the cheats where it say rock band start
Just go to extras and modify game. Go to cheat code and a screen will pop up then you enter the code (Such as RED YELLOW BLUE RED RED BLUE BLUE RED YELLOW BLUE) and once you did that go down the list until you see the option you want to add such as the ALL SONGS UNLOCKED
Well I still have a prob....cause when you start to enter and you hit the green button....guess what happens.....the game STARTS

The screen will change to a box that says all songs unlocked if you put it in right. It take a time or two sometimes....dont strum or anything....just hit the buttons and it should work.
Its like gh2 you have to do it fast
I find it easier to use the drums to unlock... same cheat code (r, y, b, rr, bb, r, y, b) just make sure and keep the same beat and it should work (dont worry I had trouble at first too)
Well I think it works better with the drums you also have to do it fast
I think you dont need to strum and also hit the notes faster
All those ansewer are good but if you have a japan ps3 none of those will work I dont think there is a code for the japan ps3 yet

First obviously put in the batteries, turn the guitar on, and then press the white button near the PS logo( im not sure but you might be able to just press the PS logo) and press the button on the receiver.
Mine is like that all the time.The on and off switch,if its not on turn it on, and then turn it off and then turn it on again.
Try pressing the ps logo on the guitar and the button on the reciever at the same time
