All of the other answers are good. but personaly if you want a cheap car that is easy to win with, use the Evo IX. it costs 20,000 and when fully upgraded, it reaches up to 230mph. (or if you have alot of cash, just get a zonda)

You can use a Pagani Zonda F.
It only has Stage 3 and 4 upgrades and the car is pretty good when you buy it!
I believe my Pagani has a 1,231 ft wheelie record.

U dont need the Drag-kings car. you just need over 500hp and lvl 2+ aerodynamics. change gear when the arrow gets ABOVE the green bit. Use nitro on 3rd gear
To do a wheelie you must have a muscle or tuner car with at least 500hp and also with level 3 suspension.start the wheelie competition and as soon as you start hit the nitrous and the car will do wheelie

Go on HOME menu, select REMOTE OPTIONS at the bottom of screen.
select RECONNECT and hold down buttons 1 and 2 until it beeps a few times. Go back to game and player 2 press A button
Go to race day and select create race day and leave allof the settings the same then go down and select define race events then choose add event then at the top where it has all of the kinds of races,go all the way right and select drift and change course G to C then push 2 and select save race day. select yes. then go to the course you created press2 and press play then select your cars .then go to race events ,select drift select practice and select a car and go to the end of the track and stop right in front of the finish line then turn left into the dirt use your nitrus and drive staying against the wall until you pass the finish line notice that the race didn't end and keep driving until the game resets you you might have to try afew times.

The easyest way to beat ryo is 911 turbo fully upgared or corvette z06 fully upgared for girp.....then ford gt or lotus esile fully upgared for speed.......then shebly GT500 (new vesion not old) or if you have ehough money the pangoi zonda stage 3 parts will run 5.89 in drag for drag..........then for wheelies the doage challger R/T fully upgraded and tuned to stiff back shocks and soft front ones.......and for dirft the mazda RX-8 or RX-7 and you could use a carmo ss or just carmo full upgraded.....HAVE FUN WITH THE 300 GRAND PRIZE MONEY!

In my opinion a cheap 4 wheel drive like the Skyline (which I used all the time for grip) Evo or anything ofr grip and for drag cars I recommend the Challenger or the Charger for drift use Aki Kimura's car or other cars for speed a fast 4 wheel drive should do!
1. if they r going real slow, smash into the back of their car then they total (and so do you).
2. steer into the left-right rear wheel of their car and they sometimes spin round. another car usually slams into them.
3. On Texas World Speedway, on the corners, ram them into the top wall and they barrel roll.
4. or... smash your car into a telegraph pole and sometimes it causes a massive pile up and they all total when they hit you and the other totaled cars.
I was having a hard time beating Ryo in the speed showdown. I used NO to get next to him at a little of 100MPH and bumped him off the road into a telephone pole. Totalled.
My boyfriend beat Ryo Watanabe first. He dominated so well, that Ryo was forced to challenge him. He went on to beat the other kings just so he could beat the game fully.
You must complete the three showdowns and when you beat his friends youll take him on for the certian races I would recommend:

speed: Dodge Viper fully upgraded
drift: BMW M3 all level 3 but no spoiler
Nissan Silvia S15. I use one and its the best car i've ever had. I love drift so I make sure I have the best cars for drift. I have a Mazda RX7 (Not Aki Kimuras) and a silvia. I usuallly score in the 4 or 5 thousands so I pretty much always win.
Get a porshe cayman, believe it or not best drag car, upgrade to max, dnt tune it its fine, 1/4 mile my best is 6.95, wheelie I ca do 1450, on drag and wheelie nitro on gear three
My game doesn't show code entry either. My game cd shows a copyright 2007. Could the fact that I updated the Xbox 360 (to make a older game compatible) be a factor? Do you have to be on a certain level for the code entry area to show up?
First you need a rear weel drive car then you need a lot of power I have a corvette fully coustomized and it will stand on its bumper all the way down the track if only I could get it to track straight
Only rear wheel cars can do a wheelie, and I think you may need all stage 3 parts of power or some stage 3 and 2, but it haves the horsepower needs to be at least 500
Porshe cayman, cost about 40, 000, but you need the best mods, the do the unlock all things cheat, go to main menu, go bak to career mode u'll have sum new cars sell them, save, restart game keep doin it till you hav the cash for the best mods, my best wheelie was 1530 feet
Grip: use nissan gt-r prototype very helpful! never slides without brake use.

Am I the only one whos different here!? I just use a Nissan Skyline GT-R fully modified with level 3-4 parts and reaches up to 1000bhp and the difference with my car is that I modified it to drift! If you want my tuning options to it give me a message to rated_mich@yahoo.com!
