If it's the level Water Hazard where there is flammable barrels stacked on different platforms with lots of them flying little robots in the room then...BREATHER...just destroy the barrels first. Then where the ladders are in the middle of the room, climb them and jump on a pipe, follow the pipe towards where the barrels where. And keep going till you find a platform which you can stand on.

If it's in episode one cant remember what level when you are in the vent just as you round the corner throw a grenade through the gap at the end of the vent which will destroy it all in the room the vent will fall you will take a tiny bit of damage and you can just drop out
