You have to make friends with the farmer and help her with every thing and she will let you trade with her and when you do there will be sugar cane seeds for trade. you need one watermelon for the trade. I suggest getting a watermelon seed and planting it and foraging it so you dont run out of melons because most of the recipes need sugar and the sugar cane seeds only grow once and stop . you chop it down and have to plant all over again for more.

You have to continue crafting it until it's done. Your energy goes down while crafting, so go and sleep then go back until it lets you get into the boat.

Click the arrow infront of the boat... its hard to find the right spot to click but if its fully built then you should be able to use it :) try having your sim stand in front of the arrow when you click it :)
Q:Hi. I have 2 questions, in sims 2:castaway how do you get the knife? or where? And where do you get the mango for the garderner {I know it is on 1 of the islands but dont know which one and where on that island?}

Well to be honest I dont know but I no its on the 3rd istland but I dont no witch is the third island :)

1.you get the knife from the chef guy after you get the sardines and limes.
2.you got to get the boat and go to the 3rd island there is a tree there shake it and they will come down.

I'm just confued about the knife because you need to get the mangos on the other island for Ms. Weeder, in order for her to be able to give you lime seeds, but you can't go to the third island to get her the mango withought the boat which i'm guessing needs the knife, which I can't get because I can't get the limes from Ms Weeder!
It's like one big loop that I cannot figure out. (Some one help me too!)

If you want more rocks, then you need to dig for them. In order to dig for them , you need a spade. you get the parts for the spade whem you give the Chef guy the peppers.

You dig for them once you give ms.weeder the antidote to get rid of the paracites on her banana tree she will give you the bottom and top take them to the crafting rock and put them together.hope it helps! :D

You need to dig for rocks and try digging on the arrows cause you mostly get rocks there

U need to find all the map pieces, go to the cliff (in that area) then u'll c an arrow, click on it, and then your sim will jump down into a pool of green water, where theres a ship that takes you off the island, and there is also a door in the water that takes you back to the island where the door with the skeleten and crossbone is. by the way if you decide to go on the ship you can always cum bak to the island and when you do that you get lots of new items and trading options with the other ppl on the island...XD hope that helps. oh and the last map piece is a little brown speck to the left of the skelten crossbone door!
Q:Which diving place do you get the light blue coral? I need it for a couple things but I havent found it anywhere. And I have been playing 87 game days.

Just keep diving in the area near the pirate ship, you will find it eventually.

In the lagoon on the third island... you have to look for it at night... just keep looking and it will pop up eventually. the lagoon is also where you can pole fish :)

2.there is a tree on the third island you need the boat to get there after you make the fire for the chef offer help once more he will give you the chisel then go to docter feelgood and trade for the hammer handel then go to the crafting rock and finish it.
3.you trade the chef for the recipe.
4you need a knife and vines take them to the crafting table and make it.

Suzie mcdress is on the 3rd island you get there by canoe you need a hammer and chisel 2 make the canoe and then you sail 2 the 3rd island 2 get the mango idk how 2 make the curry and you need 3 vines and the knife 2 make the thread @ the crafting table
