Kagamaru is the robot.all you do is talk to him and beat him twice.

In the morning when your duelist leaves the slifer red dorm, go straight to the beach (6 am) There you will see a character looking out towards the ocean ( Atticus Rhodes ) talk to him, he will ask you whats up, answer the sky.
Then duel him, I think you have to beat him 10 times, he is a good duelist using a dragon deck, but isnt too hard, defeat him that number of times, he will give you his signature, give that to Fontaine, and she will be your partner
Basicly what i did was use defencive cards agianst her like big sheild gardna and use plenty of trap cards and spell cards on her like sakuretsu armor when she attacks and spellbinding circle to make her unable to attack then use powerful tribute cards like blue eye's white dragon or other strong cards, plus watch for her cards that she lay's down because she know's what to do with them, literaly one more thing watch for snatch steal, she use's it often, every chance she gets plus use trap cards like magic jammer and other trap cards to get through her spell cards and bring equip cards like united we stand because she will summon her self every chance she gets also

Yes all you have to do is give them food and talk to them every day and they will ask you if you want to be their partner I recommend zane he is a better all you have to give him are plain, cook, and gloden egg sandwiches all the time talk to him beat him once or twice and he'll ask you, he will ask you for favores like give something to blair and you are set... your welcome

Each character has about 8 heart slots that can be filled up. Once you get 6 slots filled they will pretty much be your partner. Each time you give them a golden sandwich , it fills up 1 whole heart, otherwise by talking to them or dueling them you get like a quarter heart each time
To duel him go to the beach at 6 am. You will see him there. Talk to him, he will ask you whats up? answer, the sky. Then proceed to duel him if you want
Ur screwed. sorry but there is nothing you can do now. the only thing you can do now is start over. I had to start the game over like 4 times before I got the message that im doing something wrong.
You have to fill the trust meter to all 8 hearts on a person to get them to be your tag duel champion. you do this by giving characters sandwiches they like and having good conversations with them. If you give pharoh the cat a sandwich like grape sandwich he will follow you around and give the best conversations with every page 1 character. Also the characters will be moving around the map depending on the time of day. Make sure you talk to each character when they go to a different location and give them their favorite sandwich at that time. Remember that at each location a character is at that day will give you credit for a sandwich but only the first sandwich you give them, so do not give a character like Jaden 10 golden egg sandwiches in the morning in his dorm room. Jaden will be at his dorm room in the morning, the card store at 1600, the school gate at 1875, the red dorm cafeteria at 1900, and his dorm room at 2000. So you could have up to five locations to speak to jaden and get credit for a single sandwich at those 5 locations, fyi jaden loves spicy foods.
Lolz. gr8 answers although not are all entirely helpfull.. hmm sounds like a challenge, store closed , last night b4 tournament, well tell you what, since Jaden has got 4 hearts he is your best bet. Have you noticed when you duel a main character, whether you win or lose after the duel a noise is heard, to show the characters liking for you..? So tell you what, go to jaden's room and duel him, like 20 times, after that go and check their hearts meter in your room, dont be surprised if it has risen.
P.S. He might have his hearts filled up but might still not ask you to be his duelling partner, but hey its worth a try
Go to the lab and on the left side of the guy standing by the machine it is called the conv.... somthing I havent played the game for a while , but you have to put in 10 or more cards in there,.. from what I heard if you put 99 cards in there you get a element hero neos

You can set a label on it them, then go to the menu in the trunk and select "Hide labeled cards" and you won't be able to see them
Atticus is alexises brother who dissapeared after getting excepted to the abandoned dorm. You need to beat him while he's a shadow rider. p.s. if alexis is your partner you dont duel him.
You have to complete the 3 stages with all the main characters, then when you play again in stage one, then on the day of the school festival you will be given the choice to duel dark dorothy girl (dorothy )or the dark magician girl. Choose dorothy, beat her and then from the next day when you go to the shop, and when she is selling the sandwitches, you can ask to duel her. With sadie, again you have to finish it will all the main characters ( Jaden, Syrus, Zane, Bastion, Chumley,Chazz and Alexis) the after you start again just go to the shop and when she is selling sandwitches talk to her and she will tell you that she has just started dueling recently, and then on you can ask her to duel BEWARE:
I have found Sadie to be the hardest duelist in the game, she has a strategic deck aimed at stopping you from attacking and using effect monsters to drain your lifepoints , you will need lots of monster destruction cards and spell destructions cards are a must! Good luck
Her deck consists mainly of spell casters and she does play the crush card and one of the most powerfull fusion monsters which is the thousand eyes restrict, play her with whatever deck you have but make sure your deck has cards like snatch steal or brain control, a few monster destruction cards will be usefull. She is great fun to duel though, she does duel well
Yes, after you complete the game once, when you go around a second time and talk to duelists you will be given the choice of make them your partner, just go yes and a geart will appear against their names, you dont have to talk to them all the time or give them sandwiches, the Slifer and Ra duelist will become your partner no problems , same with most of the obelisk duelists although some of the better duelists will set a condition like you have to beat them in a duel to be their partner. Once done they will also be your partner.
No they are called the sacred beast and they are like copy's of them

Actually they don't have the Egyptian God cards, in the game what they do have is the three secret beasts cards and there easy to get. if you complete stages 2 and 3 with a partner. you will get the the three beast cards(Rabiel, Hamon, and Uria). if you really want to get the god cards you will have to get the two games called yu-gi-oh tag force 2 and 3, and they are not on PS2 platforms, they are one psp platforms.
Pass the last two levels as your partner, then at the end of the last level when you defeat kagemaru, start the game over, look in the deck recepi and you have his recepies for his decks

chumley dosent team up with a shadow rider and depending on your partner you olnly battle 6 shadow riders unless your partner is chumley
