You need to go to the carpenter and talk to the guy at the counter, ask to build or upgrade and it will tell you what you need...you will need wood and building stones. wood you get by cutting down trees and stones you get by breaking big rocks found in the fields
Q:I'm trying to get the Journey rucksack and all cheat sites say I can go to the top of the tree to talk to the Goddess about the rucksack after the mayor stops by. Well he did but the rainbow won't let me up to talk to the goddess. Am I missing a step?

A1:
You have to go into your house and there should be a diary next to your bed click on that. and there is the option to save, load and change the game options.
Q:I can't get the peddler to show up and trade me the magic bean(s) for my cow. Every time I try, the livestock dealer just shows up and asks me if I want to sell her. It is Fall 13, the cow is fully grown. I haven't milked her because she just grew up and I want to sell her. I tried to sell her when she was a baby but the trader showed up and said she was too young. Have I ruined my chances to get the beans?
Buy a frying pan from the shop, then grow veggies in the relevent seasons e.g. cabbage in spring, onions in summer, etc. then once ready to harvest cook them in the frying pan to make fried veggies & ship them you get 310g for each one you ship. So if you ship 9 you make 2790g, not bad eh.

Just do the usual. Getting the right crops would probably help. Cabbage in spring gives you 340G (~4 days) , Summer Cocoa gives you 320G and can be re-harvested (~4 days), during Autumn Eggplants are the way to go and can be re-harvested 240G (~4 days to originally grow but every 2 days to re-harvest). This will all work if you water them every day - even the days you harvest them for the re-harvestable. (all of these prices and days work for fertile ground)
During winter seeming as nothing grows, go to the lake and across the frozen water into the cave there. Unlike the moonlight cave, you're more likely to find gold ore (150G), rare ore (200G) and amethest (220G) there.
I had 2x6 fertile sqaures of eggplant and within 8 days I had ~20000G. I did start with ~7000G from onions in spring, just think of it as I got about ~3000G every 2 days. ^.^

In winter go to the lake cave and go on level 40 or something far down so you get good gems then get as many as you can carry and sell them (level 10 is a glitch level theres nothing on it the only way out is to use your hoe and find the stairs or start the cave all over again) hope I helped

Well what I do is just fish everyday and your can get alot in a day and in a week you have tons of money.

Go and see Woody. As well as money for the barn you will also need lumber which you can either buy from him (costs extra) or collect from around the village.

I don't actually know how to get onto the horse but firs before you even attempt to ride, you must get your horse on two hearts (for hm: magical melody)

The horse has to be grown up and you must have 2 hearts with it then you go up 2 it and press Z .. hope this was helpful :)

It must have 2 hearts first before you can do anything. Then, let your animails outside. Finally, press the Z button at the side of it. YOUR HORSE MUST BE OUTSIDE!

I had trouble with this to start with - after searching around, I discovered you need to empty your rucksack completely and then get your horse outside. Then you need to stand next to it and press Z. You can also ride your horse outside of your land, but only if your rucksack is empty!

You can still ride your horse with things in your back pack, you jus need 2 have empty hands and stand right next to the horse
