Can anybody help me? My daughter is playing this game and has no idea how to upgrade her house in levels? any help is much appreciated (she has gotten 10 stars with the mayor if this means anything, lol?)

Become friends with woody(he likes branches) then go into his shop and then on remodel and you will be able 2 get a bigger house
Go to woody and stand in front of the conter and then press a then a menu will come up with lots of optins press a on the remodel option and chose what ever one you want

im not sure because iv looked up list's for what animals like and he has not been in any but I would try giving him mushrooms maybe and if he doesnt like it try fish because almost every animal has fish as their fav or secound fav

You can go to the woodwork shop and go to woody click a and then clik lumber it is 50gs for 1 piece though. You can also find wood around the village

U can upgrade your tools if you want to make you chop down trees or logs faster.

Buy a frying pan from the shop, then grow veggies in the relevent seasons e.g. cabbage in spring, onions in summer, etc. then once ready to harvest cook them in the frying pan to make fried veggies & ship them you get 310g for each one you ship. So if you ship 9 you make 2790g, not bad eh.
Just do the usual. Getting the right crops would probably help. Cabbage in spring gives you 340G (~4 days) , Summer Cocoa gives you 320G and can be re-harvested (~4 days), during Autumn Eggplants are the way to go and can be re-harvested 240G (~4 days to originally grow but every 2 days to re-harvest). This will all work if you water them every day - even the days you harvest them for the re-harvestable. (all of these prices and days work for fertile ground)
During winter seeming as nothing grows, go to the lake and across the frozen water into the cave there. Unlike the moonlight cave, you're more likely to find gold ore (150G), rare ore (200G) and amethest (220G) there.
I had 2x6 fertile sqaures of eggplant and within 8 days I had ~20000G. I did start with ~7000G from onions in spring, just think of it as I got about ~3000G every 2 days. ^.^

Fish mine look round the mountain for fruit and sell it
In winter go to the lake cave and go on level 40 or something far down so you get good gems then get as many as you can carry and sell them (level 10 is a glitch level theres nothing on it the only way out is to use your hoe and find the stairs or start the cave all over again) hope I helped
Well what I do is just fish everyday and your can get alot in a day and in a week you have tons of money.

Have you got the right level of house?I think you need a level 3 house to be able to marry. Also do you have the blue feather? You need that to give to your beloved. Theodore will show you where and how to get it when you have 10 hearts and the right house.
And you need 30 notes
Need at least 8 hearts ,the blue feather and house upgrade that will accommodate the double sized bed. cant get married without the larger bed. your mate has to sleep somewhere after your married.

Go and see Woody. As well as money for the barn you will also need lumber which you can either buy from him (costs extra) or collect from around the village.

You need 8 or more hearts with your sweet heart, have a level 3 house, a double bed and 30 notes (It says all this in the book it comes with.)

The horses training goes up by one star every 12 hours you spend on it. This doesn't have to be continuous either. So if you have spare time, get on your horse and ride into a wall for a while. They horse has to be moving, but it can still be running into a wall! ~ Hope this helped.

You have to ship a lot of ore.
To get the Blacksmith ship 1 of ever ore and 1 moonstone + 7 more gold ore! After this your Mailbox will have a Notice saying he is open go there and Upgrade =P Hope this helped (The more ores the quicker he comes)
You have to go to the moonlight cave. You will see what looks like wood panelling on the ground.Walk on that.The game will ask if you want to go to the second sublevel.Say yes and there will be rocks.If you have your hammer get it out and hit the rocks.You will probably find a type of ore.
