Q: How do you enter cheats?

A1: In GTA 4 the cheats are in the form of phone numbers. So to bring your phone out you push up on the directional pad and to bring up the numebr keys (to dial) push up again. then you enter in the cheat that you have gotten off ://www.cheatmasters.com/cheats/25714/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV_cheats.html but be aware that certain cheats will block certain mission making it impossible to complete the game fully. -Answer by:SpankyMacK

Q: Can you rob stores and shops?

A1: When you aim your weapon at regular pedestrians they raise their hands for a few seconds before making a run for it. So I'm not sure. You would think you would be able to.

A2: You can rob Hot Dog stands... but not actual businesses. For some reason, the codes you receive online are not working, for whatever reason. Think of something to destruct!

A3: You can go into the wireless internet cafe on the first island and there is a register to the right side and you go up to it and press L2 on ps3 to open the drawer and you collect what money is in the drawer. then about 5 seconds later the cops are after you.

A8: Yes you can. You have to go into a store with a cash register, push LB/L1, and you can get money from it. I do it a lot and almost always got 90 dllars. I would rob shops that alot of people go to because the money in the cash register is higher. I would also kill the clerk/owner because they might have money on them and they will call the cops.

A9: If you walk up to the cash register in the store youll get a wanted level however...

Q: I've been told that if you use the game cheats you don't get credit for any achievements. Is this true ?

A1: Only if you save the cheats( phone numbers), and it affects only some of the achievements.

A2: Yes some cheats affect your acheivments that you can unlock

A4: Yes it locks them but the achievements are quite hard anyways but if you do them first then it cant lock them

A5: Yes. The gun cheats will effect your whole game if you save it and also the armor and heath.

Q: How do you aim at certain body parts while locked onto a target?

A1: While locked on (LT) use the left analogue stick to move up and down on your target, when you find the area you want to shoot press fire (RT).

A2: Your full locked on target circle (LT) has restricted movement, however if you hold the (LT) trigger half way you can have free aim to shoot whatever limbs you wish to. Note: pressing the right analoge stick also samples through target distances. -Answer by:TheJudge

Q: Are you having trouble with GTA 4 locking up? Fixes ?

A1: If you play it 4 a while life 4 hours strait it gets laggy.

A2: This a glitch with the game itself. With the loss of loading menus when coming into a new island or into a store. Sometimes if you are traveling too fast into a new section it will not give the game time to load and it will either freeze, lag, or just not load and you will be floating for a second or two. -Answer by:SpankyMacK

A3: The answer to this question is to do with the undulation and hights of the islands, for example if you enter Booth tunnel quickly from either end the drop in linear mapping causes lag and often blue screen. Its not simply down to traveling fast! there are around 50 locations around the islands where these glitches will occur, Solution?..... slow down a little bit. -Answer by:TheJudge

A1: You can have sex with prostitues and girlfriends only in the game, although graphically none exsistant especially for girlfriends, the prostitutes are fun to watch the first time round only! A1: I bought the black wingtips and they worked, maybe your character is wearing glasses or a hat, either of which are not allowed on "suit" missions.

A2: Not sure on your line of questioning here, but me thinks that in some missions [Interview part1/2, Three leaf clover, undertaker] you are asked to wear smart attire. A4: You are probaly are wearing sunglassses or glasses because I wear them too on that mission. So then took the tip from A1 by buying windtips and it doesn't matter. I use the one I bought before by saving the mission again on another slot and still worked. So A1 you made me waste money >:( . Q: How do you turn the radio off and on?

A1: Press and hold the left or right directional buttons will turn it off. Pressing either left or right will turn it on again, this will also allow you to scroll through the list of stations until you have found the one you want.

A2: You can also pause the game and look through the settings one of them says radio on/off

A3: All you do is click the right 4 corer thing

A4: Just hold the left pannel thing for a few seconds and it will turn off

A5: Press and hold the left d pad and it will go off

A6: If you have an xbox 360, press down on the D pad and it will turn off

Q: How do I hail a cab/taxi?

A1: During an early training mission your taught how to use a taxi. But here is how. You must be near or approach a taxi (empty with no passengers) and press LB. If you do it right, Niko will whistle and call for the taxi. To enter the taxi, press and hold the Y button.

A2: You can also get a cab when someone is in it sepend who the taxi driver such as a black guy with a hoodie. He would not care and will drive you. :)

A3: For the ps3, press and hold triangle and you will enter the back seat of the cab, use the left analogue to select destination, this can be from mission objectives to things like the strip club. a cab will not take you anywhere whilst cops are chasing you.

A4: On xbox 360, when you see a cab, press LB and it should stop, if it doesn't, blow it up!

Q: What's changed with the Driving controls in this version?

A1: Well, it's a bit different. The start mission involves a lot of driving, so you can get used to it then. LT reverses/brakes, RT accelerates, RB is the handbrake and A is called an "alternative handbrake". Remember not to accelerate on corners,just let the momentum take you. It gets easier the more you do it.

A1: Tattoos, gyms and barbers are a not in the game. Shopping for clothes is in however (at an easier and quicker rate) and you have the ability to date.

A3: Yes it is dating is even better in GTA VI. Such as you can date people from online and arrange dates and cancel them. :p

Q: Can you swim in GTA 4?

A1: Yes you can but there is no diving. You can paddle at a normal speed and go faster by pressing A.

A2: And also even faster if you keep tapping A

A3: You can swim in GTA 4, but you cant dive, if you tap A very fast, Niko will swim even quicker.

A1: Only Rockstar, the games creator knows the answer to that. But some are guessing weapons, new missions and more cheats. I guess time will tell !

A1: You Get Given One When You Complete The Last Mission For Bernie, I Think It Is Called Buoys Ahoy.

A2: For me, people were driving some in the first race you get when you ask Brucie for some, so I suppose you could also steal those.

A3: My infernus was stole by the cops wen they tried 2 catch me but I cnt find it again

A1: Well theres only 2 real grilfriends you can date.

A3: There are 5 girls you can date. 2 in normal play and 3 from the internet. The ones from the net also give you special items when they like you enough.
