Step 1:Once you have clicked on your licence press the HOME button on your wii remote.

Time trials
Play the time trials, its under single player. Ghosts are a character or persons driving time. It's sorta of like driving against a replay.

When trying to collect expert staff ghosts, you have to go to time trials (1 player) and beat the staff ghost time they give you by approx. 7 secs. This unlocks a new staff ghost that is much harder to beat. But you only need to uynlock them to get new characters/bikes/carts.

Have you done all the Mirror Grand Prix? You need to get a star in each one of those too.
Get star in EVERY cup even star cup
If there is a white wheel on Nintendo WFC, that means that person is a guest. If someone has a gold wheel, that means they're not guests. But sometimes you see stars and smaller gold stars.

Ive unlocked every thing on Mario Cart :(
There are 2 Mii Outfits (Mii Outfit C does not exist) To unlock Mii Outfit a win a gold trophy in 100cc Special Cup and to unlock Mii Outfit B unlock all the expert staff ghosts on time trials. You don't have to beat them.
If you have the game super mario galaxy you'll know it's one of her star friends called Luma. But no you can not unlock this character and with Rosalina this star is useless. Hope I helped. Smiley Face!

You either crashed to much or were in last about the whole time and in 1 race you came back with good items (if that makes any sence to you)
That happened to me too! you need to be in 1st alot, not to crash alot, not to rely on bullet bills, do lots of tricks and then you will be successful
You need to be in first place about 70% of the time, try not to get hit by too many items, do your best to not crash into other karts, and don't fall off more than 3 times.
U need to come 1st AND you have to go round the track as fast as possible

U should really try out koopa troopa in the mini beast, or dry bones in the mini beast. dry bones acceleration is a little better tho. its speed and mini turbo are fantastic, and acceleration isnt bad either! gud luck!
Try dry bones and the bullet bike. It'll make you zoom past opponets.)
I find Yoshi on a Bonbon is fast, and can easily turn corners.
Well I advise you to have either Nanobike on Koopa Troopa or Bonbon on Koopa Troopa. Both of these have brilliant Acceleration and Handling, so you can turn bends easily. Plus the speed is pretty good too.
If tou like baby peach you can still do her on a better kart. The karts name is Tiny Titan.
Try a small character with magickrusier (cant spell) or a medium character with rapide.
Win the special cup on 100cc

You need to practice your driving skills. Try not to hit walls,not to get bullet bill,stay first for most of the way,etc.
You need to try not to bump in to things and stay on the track without falling and avoid getting hit by shells

everything you all are talking about is done with hacks. I know because I used to hack the game. I stopped because I got bored with it. there are specific hack that you can use that allow you to have infinite blue shells, bullet bills, stars, and red shells, etc. they are all hacks. go to youtube to figure out how to do it.
It just has to do with lag time in the communication between your video screen and what really happened. The WII CPU does a good enough job tracking what you're doing, it's information is sometimes a bit slow with others.
This can also be seen when you hit a player with a weapon (red shell) the shell will seem to miss and go past or through them, but, then you see them wipeout a second after.

It is a problem only for people who use the wheel, if you use Just the controller or the controller and the nunchuck it shouldnt do it but you wont get a "Golden Wheel" online if you dont use a wheel for 100% of the time so make sure you keep your wheel time usage at above 50%

For Mii Outfit A, win the 100cc special cup. For Mii Outfit B, unlock all 32 fast staff ghosts. And for Mii Outfit C, do 5004 Nintendo Wfc races or get a vs rating of 10000.

Star is the highest rank you can get, check all of the trophies again in the cc you are doing, It should have ranks for what you have.Redo the races again and make sure you get first in every single race, If you still have A then try improving the times you pass the finish line in every race...If this does not work, then I am very sorry I don't know what else you can do...I hope this could help you get a star.

Whoa, never heard that before I know that when you are playing and you lose connection you automatically get first and says the race is over, you still get your wi-fi points, but ugh I am probably boring you.

It's because he combined a mega mushroom and a star(look in your manual)

Mirror madie is racing the tracks backwards.You unlock it by beating the cups in 150cc and rank in those with a star or more.
Mirror mode is when you play the course backwards. I don't know because I just unlock it and don't know how
Mirror mode is where the turns in the race are reversed (left = right) and you unlock it by getting a podium rank in all the cups in 150cc
Mirror mode is were you do everything opposite and you get it by doing all the other cups by coming either 1st 2nd or 3rd and if you complete the lighting cup in mirror mode you will unlock the blue falcon
The points are awarded based on the average place you finish. If you tend to finish high (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) you'll get less points than somebody who normally finishes lower in the rankings. I've lost points finishing in second.
It depends how good you are in the game.
It's based on your relative score. If you had the best score entering the race, you're expected to win. If you're a low scorer and beat people with higher scores you'll get more points.
