First you have to go to PIER beach then there are two stones, investigate them. it will tell you the things you need to make your raft. after you get them build your raft then go to sleep right next to the stones, after you wake up get on your raft IMMEDIATELY! Then you'll be on the second island!
You have to have 2 machanical and to do that just keep lighting fires. then gather all the supplies and get good rest for the trip or it wont let you go.

What did you mean with: "Press start, go to plans & ideas you'll see a hand select it simply move the fire destroy it or whatever floats your boat."? I really didn't understand that answer.. Is there a way to shut the fire safety, or isn't there? If it is, can anyone describe HOW?
Once your sim is at a high enough level, you can build a better workbench and you have the option to build a trap for catching both the fish and chickens. Once you built the traps , the next thing you have to do is find where the chickens are scattered throuhg out the game and pick up the feathers then place the trap. Leave for a day or two on the game and go back to find you've caught the chicken. Remember you can keep the chicken in a coop, so you have to serenade the chicken when you want eggs. good luck

O.K there are always two places to trap a chicken and at one place there is a chicken. fist make a chichen trap and put it on the place wher the is not. then go to the chicken and then it will flap away. then wait for a few days and then check it and you will catch a chicen
This one na! You put the trap and if the chicken fly then go any where and go back that where you put the trap the you have a chicken but don't go there when now 1min 2min 3min and put the chicken on the coop and a funny chicken from the pocket lol you can't put a chicken there lol and WFT!
The more you build the higher you mechanical ability will go, if the picture in the plans are not highlighted you can't build it, it is either you don't have the skills or the resources to build it.

You can catch chicken after you go to the first plains, south river plains I think, I have trapped a couple of chickens. I haven't been to Llama temple yet, and I am catching ahrks, and chickens. I just started on the castaway game on Jan 11, 2009.
I've never heard of 'BEARD, BEARDS CHEST' before, but the treasure chest is behind one of the rocks on the first island on the 1st beach. And to build a lavish shower you must build a bungalow and then you should have unlocked a lavish shower! get the correct ingredients to make the shower and enough creativity and body points and you will have been able to make it,.
To build the shower you need to build a bungalow first then go to plans and you'll be able to make a shower and for beard beards treasure you need to findd all of the treasure map pieces which are around the islands then go to west beach and you will find a boulder click inspect and it moves go in aand the treasure chest is on the boat
1. "black beards chest" go to the second island and when u get on the second island u know the beach u land on when u get there look for a boulder and inspect it your sim should push it away no problem ps ur sim needs to have all the map pieces to push the boulder 2. lavish shower: i usually use cheats to get most plans if not build a bungalow and u will get the message about it!

There are certain spots I would do it at.
The easiest place is on the second island at a place called West River Plains.
1.) There has to be a chicken on the spot.
2.) Chase it away.
3.) You HAVE to gather the feathers.
4.) Put the trap on there. (you make a trap on the work bench.)
5.) Wait two days exactly.
6.) Then pick it up and there you go.
But sometimes the trap disappears because of storms or the boar or just glitches so make quite a few.
Yeahh you get a stove or something and it goes up I used the cheats so I had the best one and I was using all of the ingrediants at once its really fun
Uh, you get the pumpkins from the third island. When you open the big door thingy and go into that temple thing, ( not very good with remembering the names ) if you go to the hidden staircase it takes you to the top of the volcano. if you climb down the ladders it takes you to this place and you should find pumpkins...

When you climb down the ladders and you go to the end of the cliff/island, ( as if you are facing it ) and you go to the left you can go through that passage. Why wont it let me go there? do I need something? :D
Create a bunch of objects on one location then add a fire pit,make sure its lit then just stand around or sit in a chair but make sure you are doing either by the fire (i dont know if it works,a friend told me)
You need to get 15 rocks. You can find them on the ground on dig for them. One you have them go to the S.O.S place then press "arrange rocks" then every few days something will be sent down in that place.

You have to go to Inventory and select the grab button (the square one I believe) then exit out til your back at the building part and select the wall you want to delete with the little hand and then hit the square button again to delete it or just move it to another location if you would rather do that.
Hit circle and you'll come up in da mini resources screen, then hit square and it'll enter 'grab' mode. just click on da unwanted wall and then hit square once your've picked it up and it should ask you with you want to delete it. hope this helps!
