First go to the ancient theatre on the third island then perform a ceromonial cliff dive when you end up in the place after diving build a workbench then craft a wood fishing pole then stand on the little island in the middle of the water with your fishing pole then selct fish when the red thing goes beneath water (You have to watch carefully all you can see is it moves a centimetre which is hard to spot) you select reel in and you will catch large fish eventually after several tries you select reel in and your sim will start to pull forward and back then a tiger shark lands in your hand and you fall over. Hope thats enough to help you can't go wrong!
Keep fishing at night on the west beach(second island)
I caugt a shark use a bamboo fishing pole, at that area after the achient thearter, I 4get if it was a night or day
I've cought a toehead shark a couple of times with my bamboo pole, and it didn't matter if it was night or day. On west beach I believe.

Something I find to work is this:
when you start to fish, wait until the little red bobber thing goes under water.when it does the first time, do nothing. but when it goes underwater the second time,reel in. I find that doing this makes it a lot easier to catch a shark. it doesn't matter when or where, but doing it after the cliff dive just makes it easier.

You can only catch them at tidal pool (island 3)
Go onto the 3rd island and go to the tital pool and swim up to the little island in the water and cast into the deeper end

Just do it over and over into you get a shark. I have caught a lot of sharks on crystal island
U don't get your spear out. you get really high body skill, and you chase it and keep walking into it until is attacks . brown smoke will come up, but you can't control who wins, so get a high body skill and just hope for the best
Just use the bamboo fish pole, not the spear. And then catch a shark or tiger shark in tidal pool.
You find the sharks in the tide pools on the third island you first have to perform a cerimonial cliff dive..you hunt a boar by runinng after it and when it stops go to it's back if they want to fight then they jump at you and then this big ball of dust goes around and then when it's over the sim may or may not win if they win they hunted a boar..ps you don't need a spear
You don't get anything out to kill the boar, all you do is keep walking into it, then eventually it will get annoyed and attack.
Look near all the beaches
You'll find them washed up on the shore.

You find a door in gyiser plains and add all the hyroglifics and you can go through the door and get to the tmpal. HINT to get the complete hyroglific piece find all the pieces go to leisure items and craft the hyros!

If you go to Volcanoe overlook (to get there you need a chisel and a hammer) there is a pathway to either the tempal ( that path is the stairs) or to the top of the volcanoe. You need a lot of energy and a high body skill. To get to volcanoe overlook, go to gysier plains. There should be a hill with a rock on it. Go up the hill and inspect the rock. Your sim will use the hammer and chisel to knock it over. It will make a pathway to volcanoe overlook. All you have to do then is explore

Ugh this took me so long. Its nasty but... eat garlic! build a fire right next to it. sleep as much as possble, say cook meal and just get garlic. it will be a drink do this 2 or 3 times and it will fill up all the way (ps. you can use anyspice realy but the energy for garlic is 15!)
Um, Hi. It did that to me when I wanted to use the canoe. If you get a provisional bed and then sleep it wont totally fill the bar but get some food or something, and it should fill itt :D
I did that too. all you need 2 do is build the double bed out of driftwood and stuff. the 1 that says bed NOT COT OR PROVISIONAL!

Serenade the chicken
First catch a chicken then put a chicken on the coop first. then serenade or wait it out
Put the chicken on the chicken coop, then click on the chicken and 3 options will appear and one of the options "serenade", choose that then you chicken well lay an egg

According to my friend, it grows on the grave of the dead sim
If one of your sims die you have to mourn them and in your tears this stuff will grow the death dasiy and I think the potion is to bring them back to life.
You can only access a death daisy if you need it to revive a friend who has already died if nobody has yet died you can't get a daisy.
It don't matter wat island.. Because it grows on the grave of the dead sim... BUT you hve to have all the other material to make the potion thing. HOPE THIS HELPED!

Hey go to pier beach then make a raft to travel to second island your crew are overr there
Well you have to go to the two big statues and press craft a raft. it will come up with all the skills and stuff you need (like banana leaves) then you can go over to the second island! over at the second island you should arrive a west beach and one of your sims should be there!

It's hard when you're new, isn't it? Well, you need to first fulfil your tutorial if you're new. Then follow the footsteps into the jungle. Move forward quite a bit then you will find more footsteps. Follow through and find the 'Pier Beach' The rocky things will show you the way.
Okay first you have to gather vine wood and palms from trees go to pier beach. you will see these blocks.hit inspect...it tells you how much of the stuff you need.any thing on it that is red indecates that you need it.when everything is that yellowish color click x and you build it. when you hit explore it might say you are tired. it square it get out your mat.sleep on it until it wakes you up and get explorin!

Go to the peir beach (u can access this by goin to shipwreck island or in the deep jungle!) and there are 2 ancient king llama statues. b4 you can go to the next island you must craft the raft AT THE ANCIENT STATUES! then click travel to next island...simple! hope I am helpful! ) -Answer by:AbbyCadabby27
If you are having trouble getting mechanical skills, start fires. It will build up. And you need to collect the specific resources needed to build the raft. :)
I dont know about the sandlewood. (I need that myself)
but the boar, all you have to do is when you see one chase it and stand in front of it.

It's in the Volcano Overlook but you need metal axe in your inventory in order for it to appear when you walk up to the tree.
Just search around for the sandlewood, to hunt a boar you need to have your body skill at max, then chase the boar around until it gets angry, then it will fight you, and you should win most of the time. -Answer by:Jazza 666
Hey, go to volcano Island, then go to volcano overlook as you go there, you could see 2 routes into volcano. Each routes have sandalwood tree.
And also, you need metal tools...go inside the ancient door, and you'll see a forge craft table. You need ore to do metal tools...just go above the volcano "volacano Summit"..
To get the sandal wood go to crystal island there will be 2 holes one will have sandal wood and the other fine sand.by psychotic 213

I have been playing the castaway on a daily basissince Sunday 1/18 and for hours at a time, and I have noticed that when you light the fire and want to cook it goes to a page that says add ingrediant, there is 4 sections of add ingrediants but only one is highlighted to use now, does that build up over time. or do you have to build a certain size fire pit,to I noticed they grow in size depending on the items in inventory to build things, or need a certain amount of variety of foods ? I think it would be fun to create a dish, or put more than one ingrediant in a dish, why else would they allow you to gather spices and stuff it you can't put them together and use them, and you would think it would build up creativity points etc.
I have gone past the dark cave into a level where there is a lot to gather and identify, I have found a lot of food to harvest in that level, and a huge variety, I have already seen the boar, but he doesn't attack me, and I don't have the means to kill him yet for ham. I know that comes with time as well.

You have to build a Hut Stove and then it give you two options for ingredients...that's the best I've gotten so far.
To get a stove what I did was I used a cheat to unlock all resorces and them made a stove then you can have four thingys you can find this cheat bby typing it in google

It depends on your fire pit or stove the higher quality the more ingredients. If he doesn't attack chase after him and keep bumping into him.
You would have to advance through the game by completing goals -- this will give you more 'plan' options on the pause menu, thus new objects for cooking. Advanced stoves allows more ingredients in a single meal. Good luck!

Emergency Fire Pit -> Provisional Fire Pit -> Hut Stove -> 'Another Level' Pit (Becos I forget the name) -> Cabin Stove...
The better the stove and skill the bigger it gets. if you buy the bungalou stove or hut stove all 4 things show up....

I am at the last island and have explored everyting, but I noticeed in the crafting table list for clothing under jewelry, there is a neclace that can be made with a moonstone. I have not found a moonstone anywhere, it is even in the list of resources that are needed to make the necklace. Where is it?

Search the clam rocks on any island.surely enough your bond to stumble over it. I have 4 times! It is mostly found at crystal island. to find crystal island you go to the lama temple on island 3 and fix the forge. a shaky thing happens and you faint. that is the gound rising and also an earthquake!

Build a canoue and if you cant build it use the cheat gnom and fill all motives,add skill,ect

Just go in its perspective and don't feed it or anything... just let it be, and maybe go have some tea and leave you console on.... after a while it should get really hungry, DO NOT FEED IT (unless you want it to live but other wise...) and like I said... leave it

You can find it on the second island on the west river plain ) There's many of them right after crossing the bridge, I think... If not, it is in the semicircle on the same place... It look like a mix of a mini palm tree and an oversized pineapple
I was able to plant sistal on the second island. First you need to build a hoe then you unlock the plans for dirt. Plant the dirt then plant the sistal. The island is also full of sistal...mostly by west beach
Look for giant carrots. Sisal is the green bit on the top.
Look for a big carrot. sisal is the green leaves.
then make a workbench click the rope to make it.

Don't even bother to go to another island to find it. Just use my cheat SQUARE, TRIANGLE, DOWN, X, LEFT. This cheat gives you every recourse. But first you need the cheat gnome. I'm not going to type this cheat just watch this video

The ship mates are scattered between all the islands, the more you explore the more of them you'll find. good luck. and when you do find them - remember to keep an eye the relationships because every now and again the sim shipments do fall out with each other and you have to rebuilt the relationship otherwise the shipmates refuse to help your tribe

You can fill up your sim's fun motive/meter with airplane radio in the 2nd island. Or you can make a shaker or drum or sitting in the fire pitch or get in to the hot spring.
You could sit by a fire.

I had the issue too, :) thing is I hadn't exactly saved all the way to the point where my Sim was bored, I simply quit my game without saving and came back. As soon as I was playing I went to my bencch and made a shaker. It worked, hope it workd for you too :D

This same thing happened to me. I was only on the first island, so I didn't have the aeroplane. Find the cheat to max all of your motives, but if you don't want to cheat, find a chimp, and entertain it, that is what I did. If you are on the second island, use the aeroplanes radio and dance to it.
You have to get your energy up then you have to find a passage way on the right or left

First you have to go to PIER beach then there are two stones, investigate them. it will tell you the things you need to make your raft. after you get them build your raft then go to sleep right next to the stones, after you wake up get on your raft IMMEDIATELY! Then you'll be on the second island!

The more you build the higher you mechanical ability will go, if the picture in the plans are not highlighted you can't build it, it is either you don't have the skills or the resources to build it.

Well I know that at geyser plains has that door you have to get all the hiroghys.
You need to be standing in the right spot to inspect the rock
To open the door on volcano is. you must have all 9 hilographics? i'm pretty sure it's 9. anyway once you have all the hilographics you use your workbench to make them into one big one. then inspect the door on the 3rd is. and your sim should put the hilographis piece into the door and it'll open. then go intp the temple and get the crown which is near the to throwns: one of them are broken. the crown is the key to the 2nd is. door!
FIRSTLY you need at least 9 hieroglyph pieces these are located on all past islands and the 3rd island just pick them up! then in the geyser plains there is a big door made of grey stone! build a work bench and build a ancient stele you need a hammer, 9 hieroglyph pieces and 5 logic, then simply walk up to the door and inspect it and she/he will put the ancient stele into the whole and the door will open. then just walk through it then you have the temple interior! hope I helped! xx
To unlock the boulder in the west beach you need to have all the maps!? I need help finding the maps lol!
In order to inspect the door you have to have all of the map peices
You need the Hieroglyphic Stele made with the Hieroglyphics to open the door.
the rock has to do with the treasure map maybe you need to complete the map.
for the cave you need the crown you get from sitting on the throne.

All you need is to be at a good angle of the rock you might have to walk back and forth to get it

You make you're creativity skills go up by first building a shaker, then shake them all round.

You can be either on pier beach or east beach and all your doin is swimming in the water and going near it.

You can too go on Crystal Island. You can run to it from where ever you are or easier way, use island map.

You have to build an axe out of obsidian. Go to Plans and select the axe (not the shell one) and then you can chop hardwood from the brown trees. They're all over the 2nd island.
