The Dog Island
Behind the vines I think.
What vines?
Take the path with all the Podiums (Maybe spelled wrong) and keep going left and right. Then, you will see a snake and vines. Go through the vines and there it is.
Check the map you will see green in one of the rooms then follow your map and theres a snake if he hisses at you then run to the very back of room then through the vines and sniff
Feel your way against the wall left of the snake. You should enter the "black" room (look on the map). Just sniff it out from there

You have to go into your menu, click map. Once you are in the map, click zoom and hit the triangle button, this will tell you where someone is that needs your help!

Its right at the entrance from the short cut behind the cafe. Go straight and its kinda near the river. right by the entrance
If you don't have the blue meter for important iteams ( like the deflungi ), you will need to find grapes ( at the Green Meadows ), an apple ( at Treely Woods ) and an orange ( Treely Woods ). Once you find those iteam it should say you remember the faint scent of the deflungi. Deflungi should be at Treely Woods right near the river once you go through the short cut.
The diflungi is at the short cut to treely woods and then go to the lake wht the fishing platform then snif around the clearing next or near the fishing place
When before entering to the zommy lake sniff. remember dont enter the zoomy lake.
You might has to identify all da diferent smells. its a combo and yer pet mite not know the smells yet. snif snif snif!

U haf to cut corners, go on the other side of the pond then quikly turn round then go to the blu flag then u no were the other flags r anyway, but wil wud try 2 get past so try to block him by going infront of him then at the finish go through the trees and go straight on until u get 2 v finish
If you press circle a lot, you will go faster.
You press the circle button a lot to go faster and also cut some corners but when you are running at high speeds it is hard to turn corners
Take lots of short cuts through trees and stuff.. but dont go through the pond! it takes for ages and he always passes you!

Have you beat all the victory gang dogs and become their leader? Because once you do that, you go out of the door, then turn around and go back in. Camu and Mcoy will be fighting over who you like better. I would personally suggest Mcoy. I chose Camu and I regret it. Is is such a terrible romantic.

In Pupsville, he's right by the bridge on the way to Green Meadows! Alright, your running towards the bridge! STOP! Turn left and there he is. When your in Zoomy Village you can't see him until you get close up. He's by the Pug with the red hat and glasses. In West Chilly Fields, he's by the bridge coming out of Chiro Caves.

No its just what game file you have I guess. on some files you don't help sertan dogs but its ok and no I don mean that its the game slot you use

I finished the game twice. Once I helped him, the second time I didn't. I think it goes back and forth so you don't have the exact same game again. I noticed some other things that were changed too.
I think the game is different everytime you play it, so its not boring!
I didn't help him either but I think this game is kinda like Silent Hill... You finish the game once, you unlock things and can go as a different person with a a different story, but, if you finish The Dog Island once and start a new game you can go as a different dog but not a different story, but different dogs that need help with different things they need help with. :)

The oasis is kind of in the mid-left area, if facing toward dry/ory valley, if that helps with your water crisis.

Check your map and look for a pool of water. if you get to hot just eat some ice cream or fall into one of those sand pits. IT'S SAFE! when you reach the pool go to the west side and sniff. then get a drink and leave. (hint) falling in a pit gets you closer to the exit. that's all I know.
Look on your map,(R2button once,) you will find a blue dot. go there that's where the water is. to find the stick, go to the entrance at Gilligy(or Whatever) village, then sniff. you will have to follow the trail if the sniffer is pink,(follow the paw prints.:)
Go up from the entrance avoid snakes and look at the map there should be a green and blue thing there's the water your about between half way and the end
First of all, you are not a sniff master yet, so you arent ready to finish the game, but if you need to find water ethier run around the dessert to find one oasis, or you could run into the village there. I dont think I remember where I found the stick thingy, you should or may not find it near a snake it also- wait, use your sniff meter! just keep wonedering till it glows.

Then, Go to Green meadows, The bridge that used to be broken is there. (Pass it. DUH XD) Then, There's a fishin' spot. Keep fishin' till ya get a big bite! (Warning: Takes awhile to catch!) Do you have the golden dog yet? you might not. but, go through the long hallway that has walls and a whole bunch of pillars on the walls, you should find a room with a snake in it, I think its not posinis but you never know! wait for it to sleep and run or you can try to scare it ethier way, you need to end up behind the ivy wall just sniff and you will find the silver dog.

I have found a cool secret that helps with any smell.
Look at the bottom of the screen whhere you see the scent bars/bars. If you turn in a circle, you will see the bar of what you need get bigger or smaller. When it is the biggest, go the way that is big. i'm not telling you the answer, so here is your hint. It's in a cave on the left of the desert.

The Cinnebar is in East Chilly Fields by one of the polar bears. I had trouble finding it too!

It's at East Chilly Feilds The Polar Bear that is by the house you have to hold down the X button to bark loud and then snuff it and you should find it.
Near the hot spring in east chilly fields there is a polar bear who will drop it. I hope this was helpful!

Watever desert has the sand storms, you cant stop them. wat you gotta do to get thru it is use yur map. there is a dot where a snake is. although somehow you get the weather staff.... I dont no if that clears it up :(
There should be a guy in north sandy desert and he will ask you to look for a stick or staff and it is on the west side of the desert, then you will see a cave and search and you will find the staff and then take it back to the dog and he will stop the storms
I dont know how far in the game you are, but later in the game a dog asks you 2 find a quicksand stick and then once you give it 2 him it stops storming and some of the quicksand pits disappear.
You have to go to a guy and make a weather rod (the guy is in pupsville)

It's in the DRY VALLEY. Fallow the footprints very slowly. Walk really slow benieth the vultures and they won't notice you. When you get to the buffalo on the path move slowly in and out of his range until you can get the costume. It is on the dirt pathway. Good Luck.

Be very carfull with this this is the chalenge that killed 1 of my 12 dogs(ive played the game 12 times) first try to sneak up on the buffalo and bark at him if that doesent work let the buffalo see you and chase you but not hurt you then run out of site from him. Quickly find the suit where the buffalo was and run away before he comes back. they come back very fast usualy so make sure you are in the right place before you do that. good luck

I am going throught the same thing with other sea fish, you will cath it eventually. also be careful because it is a tricky fish, it will be pulling hard and then just let go

You need Marlin bait from Isaki. Further on in the game, There'll be a part where Isaki wants to reward you with Marlin bait. He's at the beach. Then, Go to Green meadows, And go walk across the bridge that used to be broken, And go to the fishin' spot, And the Marlin should come up in no-time! :D

If you mean cork, then I'm pretty sure you can find one some where in the Gola Highlands.

You find it in gola highlands you have to go up the mountain cross 2 bridges and the first ledge giraffe you see have him pick you up then just sniff that whole ledge until you find it!
Try and learn his pattern in which he does the course, then try and look for shortcuts and quicker ways to get to the end.

Actually first I found it in zoomy lake then after that I found it in that vctory gangs hideout so try looking in zoomy lake first.

You must get the Marlin Bait from the fisherdog.
Then go the the back of Greens Meadows at the sea pier, keep fishing till you get a whopper of a fish that gives you a hard time, and you should have then caught a Marlin.

After getting the marlin bait from Isack, Go to the green meadows and cross the bridge that you fixed. Fish on the peir until a massive fish grabs your line and puts up a fight. That should be your marline!
Try in after noon I was fishing I got a sea bass that was 113 then a huge thing broke my line and I knew it was a marlin

U can find gold,silver,or any type of tool 2 different ways. U could win it as a prize in Victory Gang Compitions or, just sniff in other peoples houses and see what comes up. Good Luck! :)
I am currently at the north sandy desert part. You can find silver in kristina's (princess at nobles' house) room. Next to the fish collector. Have fun!
U can find silver in kristinas room, and you can find gold in snow village. im not sure about the gold though

Go to the Victory Gang Hideout. They'll be acting all tough and barking. They need you to be their leader. Accept that, and then you can sniff again :)
Try going through your quests, maybe theres an unfinished one! Or if you go to rode or tao whichever one your up to sometimes they give you a quest. If none of them work just try to sniff as many new smells as you can and get to the next level. I hope this helps!
Hmm, Have a look at the memo and click on Diary. There should be a name and it doesen't have a red/pink star next to it. Then click on it, And see what you have to do to help that dog if you forgot. Or, Go to the victory dog hangout. It should show a clip :) This happend to me XD Took me awhile to figure it out last time I played. :O
Well, if you have already found the ancient flower garden, then go to the green meadows and walk up to the big tree in the center.
In the high land you have to jump down by one of the geraffes and sniff it out

I think the ancient fish is in that pond outside the ruins in the rune canyon or that place where all the buffalo are

Swim! just walk up to the water and the dog will climb in and swim.
You swim and eventuly you get the hippos to move and make bridges so you can go to zoomy villege
Find food for the hipos and they will come
Get hippo food by sniffing for a ? then put it on the log thingy the hippo will come eventually and you just hop onto it then across it.
You get across zoomy lake by searching for hippo food... once you have found some hippo food put it on a tree stump that does not have a hippo infront of it... and then the hippo will come and form a bridge for you... and then you can go across the hippo and get to many different places... or you can just swim... your choice.

Here's a trick me and my aunt do when the game starts we slide it top or lower edge try to get it to the corner to the middle then shoot it or when you're nearly there and you're opponent is leading the ball to your goal just go to the middle when he/she pushes it to the middle push it to your goal! it's so easy
When you complete the game, you could watch the credits to see what happens to your sibling. But overall, that's pretty much it.
Yes, sadly you cannot go back and finish doing what you want on The Dog Island.
May I suggest next time if you are thinking of completing the game again, you save two files for the same game, and keep saving the second till it is up to the point where you go to the Anc World. But let the other file finish the whole game. So you can then finish what you want to and finish the game, then when you have finished what you want on TDI you can go and complete the game.
Also it is easier to get 100% for the scent list that way too.

Yes, sadly you can't go back, so what I did was I made it to the Ancient Grove, then I went around finding bugs, fish, food, and flowers and whatever else I had to do, then I found the Legendary Flower and finished the game.
I the girl that has finished 12 times can say that the only thing you can redo from the game is the dino fight. If you want to do more just play the game over an over like me!

A1 says you need to watch credits so while you wait you can: use the toilet, get a snack\drink, find a PS2 game you did not finsh to play, and think of a new dog.
I know, right! This is what I did. Before I went into anc land, I saved then didn't save for the rest of the time. Now I can play my game any time and I can still do what ever I want!
YOU MAKE A NEW DOG
You will be able to go into all Noble's rooms as the game progresses so just be patient.
Eventuly youll get a quest to help a dog in the desert and she will take you to that room.
You have to help a princess or a queen her name is Kristina and she will let you in her room.

Go to hoya plains then go straight then you shall see a swarm of bees and a dog looking at them and that dog is princes Kristina but before that you must pass all the levels till you get to zoomy village and there is hoya plains

It's at Zoomy lake :D It's right next to Zoomy village. There should be a pillar there. (Fishing spot)! Just keep fishin' till you find it. It's really easy! =D

Use your map. I made a rough sketch of all three maps in the caves, then used that sketch to connect all the exits. Would still be lost in there without this. This will help you find Henry, who will tell you what to do to gain entry into the Fields.

How i find the princess in kunka ruins i had finished the chalenge with clark in zoomy village now i dont know what to do next helpppppppppppp?

I am pretty sure that there is no princess, I have just finished the game and I did not have to do any mission like that. if you are talking about princess kristina then you find her in the hoya plains(before I finished I did not help someone somewhere around the snowy places, if that is where you got the mossion from I can't help you, sorry)
Firstly, you need to go and do the challange with Kurtis first, which is at Zoomy lake. Secondly, where did you get the idea that you had to find a princess in Kunka Ruins?

I saw an answer that said you need to look in hoya plains and there will be a dog looking at a swarm of bees. that is the princess and need to save her. an answer here says to put flowers on a tree stump. she is NOT in kunka ruins sorry.
Okay, you take the path on the way around the snake next to the fire thingy and keep going straight. Then you'll see the dead end mark and keep going until you find you're way out. Then, place the medal in Rune Chaverns and it'll lead to Ancient Grove
Once you are in the cave near the rune village go past the snake into the room behind him. There you will find a statue go up to it press x (or a if you have the wii version) and petasi will talk for a bit once the rain has come through the roof swim across the pool behind the statue and you will be in ancient grove. P.S you can find all the flowers there

Go into the rune village, then look for the Rune Caverns. Go past the snake, Then you will see a Weird statue. It will say, "Place sniff master metal" Place it, THEN IT WILL RAIN, FLOODING THE WAY TO THE ANCIENT GROVE! How cool is that?!
