Some events only happen if you are there at a certain time.
They are not important ones that will really affect your game.
But some are major events such as when your sibling is sick, so they automatically happen and the game will not move on until you complete them.
I finished the game twice. Once I helped him, the second time I didn't. I think it goes back and forth so you don't have the exact same game again. I noticed some other things that were changed too.
If you don't have the blue meter for important iteams ( like the deflungi ), you will need to find grapes ( at the Green Meadows ), an apple ( at Treely Woods ) and an orange ( Treely Woods ). Once you find those iteam it should say you remember the faint scent of the deflungi. Deflungi should be at Treely Woods right near the river once you go through the short cut.
The diflungi is at the short cut to treely woods and then go to the lake wht the fishing platform then snif around the clearing next or near the fishing place
Its a candle. if you go to see patricia, she tells you that its a candle as well but its in someones house. So you have to find it, but I not sure which house it in since I was watching my sister when she found it. =]

You find it in gola highlands you have to go up the mountain cross 2 bridges and the first ledge giraffe you see have him pick you up then just sniff that whole ledge until you find it!
U haf to cut corners, go on the other side of the pond then quikly turn round then go to the blu flag then u no were the other flags r anyway, but wil wud try 2 get past so try to block him by going infront of him then at the finish go through the trees and go straight on until u get 2 v finish

It's in the DRY VALLEY. Fallow the footprints very slowly. Walk really slow benieth the vultures and they won't notice you. When you get to the buffalo on the path move slowly in and out of his range until you can get the costume. It is on the dirt pathway. Good Luck.
I have this game for Wii and I had trouble with that too. In my game you have to go to the door to get the smell then turn around and go straight.
I found it on a wall in the last room with nothing in it but a snake. it should be on the wall closest to the wall. Just sniff and you'll find it!
In Zoomy Village you speak to one of the dogs of the wild gang. You have to catch a cabbage butterfly for him. In the end he gives you a cage to collect insects.
You will need to go to zoomey vilage and meet one of the gang dogs if you catch a cabbish butterfly he will give you the cage good luck finding those bugs!:->
When you get near a bug you will see a little caption in the bottom left part of your screeen that says catch with the x button icon. press x. and line up the blue vertical bar with the orange horizontal bar and you will catch the bug.
Go to the Victory Gang Hideout. They'll be acting all tough and barking. They need you to be their leader. Accept that, and then you can sniff again :)
Try going through your quests, maybe theres an unfinished one! Or if you go to rode or tao whichever one your up to sometimes they give you a quest. If none of them work just try to sniff as many new smells as you can and get to the next level. I hope this helps!
When you look for things you don't see them,once you found it you press a button on the controller to make the dog dig and once its dug a message comes up that says you got it
Isaki is on the beach in green meadows, and Clark (I assume you mean the victory dog member?) is at zoomy village. If you havnt got him yet, walk around zoomy village and he'll pop up.
Both of them are at the river in treely woods I caught 2 of the righteye flounder before I got the blue fish the blue fish is really hard to get/ find (well it was for me)
If you have the ball push it to the right side of the court. If your opponent has th ball push them away and push it to the goal.

You need to get the ball into your goal.
If you are in the right position facing the ball your puppy will automatically start to push it.
Push it into your goal to score a point.
If McCoy has the ball... then push the ball on the side(or on an angle) to try and knock it away from him.

It is a tracking smell and the bag is located on the ice it took me ages to but if you slide to a stop just at the right time and dig i'm shure you'll get it.
You need to start neer the hot spring at the back of the field I think. Then you slowly follow the trail because if you are not careful, you will lose the scent.
You must have Marlin Bait from the fisherdog.
The Swordfish is also called a Marlin, so if you catch a Marlin you know its the same thing. They are mostly located at the back of the meadow on the sea pier. It is a large whopper of a fish and will give you quite a hard time, so you will know when you have it.
If I understand your question right you have to swim or if your trying to get to the village you have to find hippo food for him and hell be like a bridge.
After you bring everyone that Ohlala needs to him, you have to visit him in the Green Meadows and watch his circus acts.... the tent is just to the right when you enter the green meadows. After you watch his act, you go see Tao.
Here's a trick me and my aunt do when the game starts we slide it top or lower edge try to get it to the corner to the middle then shoot it or when you're nearly there and you're opponent is leading the ball to your goal just go to the middle when he/she pushes it to the middle push it to your goal! it's so easy
Okay, You have to follow the faint smell through a lot of snakes. Then, when you are bascially at a corner, go a little left and there will be a small cave. It's in there.
Yes, sadly you cannot go back and finish doing what you want on The Dog Island.
May I suggest next time if you are thinking of completing the game again, you save two files for the same game, and keep saving the second till it is up to the point where you go to the Anc World. But let the other file finish the whole game. So you can then finish what you want to and finish the game, then when you have finished what you want on TDI you can go and complete the game.
Also it is easier to get 100% for the scent list that way too.
Yes, sadly you can't go back, so what I did was I made it to the Ancient Grove, then I went around finding bugs, fish, food, and flowers and whatever else I had to do, then I found the Legendary Flower and finished the game.

Then go the the back of Greens Meadows at the sea pier, keep fishing till you get a whopper of a fish that gives you a hard time, and you should have then caught a Marlin.

After getting the marlin bait from Isack, Go to the green meadows and cross the bridge that you fixed. Fish on the peir until a massive fish grabs your line and puts up a fight. That should be your marline!
Since it is not a major event and you mustn't have been there at the right time, it didnt happen. Don't worry though, it wont affect the game. You just wont have them say goodbye to you at the end when you leave which isnt a big deal.
Well, I have a boy dog and weird enough, I was asked on a date with Amelia. I think that's what people where telling you. I don't know what happens if you have a girl dog.
Take the path with all the Podiums (Maybe spelled wrong) and keep going left and right. Then, you will see a snake and vines. Go through the vines and there it is.
