The Dog Island
ITS in DRY VALLEY, by the big totem pole on the path between it and the buffalo
Dry Valley, sort of near the main path, close to the buffalo that charges at you on the path
How do you get past those anoying buffalos? Oh, yeah, I need to wait until its night time and scare them while they are sleeping! Thanks for answering!
Just to say, it is very hard to scare the buffalos as they automatically turn round and attack you. What walked for me, is waiting for the buffalo to turn away, then quickly reach the end of the trail and dig it up. Even though it will come to attack you, usually there is enough time to escape. Just make sure you have a rough idea where the end of the trail is. -Answer by:Suzzzx

If you go behind the buffalo, the ground willl be brown, and where the buffalo is standing it will be green. if you step on the green patch he will charge at you , quickly step off and bark at him. he will not go on the brown coloured ground. -Answer by:wendyarnold
I just did that today. It is by the 2nd totompole you pass and there is a buffalo. It takes a while to sneak up on him. Bark once, and sniff very quickly.

Well the smell is pumpkin and potato but when I found it I didnt know the sent of potato anyway, you dont need the sents just look for a new smell ( I found it in zoomey lake near where the 3rd aligator is its on a small island close to where one of the hippo caves are) I hope you find it

Okay thats easy lol near the hippo were you enter zoomy village smell and you find a sent in blue with a ? (if you seeled the punken and potato you see the glue not a ?) the find t give you a hint if you point to zoomy village befor you enter go left.

What I did was tak to Noble, then went to Mary Theresa's shop and she gave me the smell. I found it in Treely Woods near the river.

You cant get away from the vultures and eventually the buffalo move into a field where they don't see you and follow your oath.

Ok heres the real way! Get behind some grass so the buffalo wont see you. Then come out and it will charge at you. Then go back in and run a bit and it'll go back slowly (in baby steps). Then follow it. Walk and do NOT touch it. When you think you're close enough, howl. Dont bark or itll wake up. then sniff around and you'll have it!

Oh, I hate the vulture and the buffalo. Just keep watching the sky. Hey, you can make the buffalo fall asleep. One time I just waited until night and it fell asleep, but when looking on another cheat, I found out you can make it fall asleep by just circling your paw around it. One time, I found a vulture's NEST. God, it was scary. I thought that the vulture near it would come and sit in it or pick me up and put me in it. I didnt really know what it was for but then I escaped, cuz I was a little creeped out, haha...

What I did wa went to the Dry Valley and I ran past the buffalo on the trail. Then I went within its Sight Range and waited till it got real close. Then I left the ange. It turned and began to go back. I quietly followed and then howled. Itgave me enuff time to sniff around and find the RingMaster Outfit

Okay, go near the buffalo until you're right by a tiki thing with puppy faces on it. It will then attack you once, then turn away and not see you. Then go get the suit.
It is in the zoomy lake

You can catch a Black Bass on the pier by Zoomy Village.

Just leave it - You will later get a mission where you have to find a sandstick and then some dog will stop the sandstorm and the sandhole
There will be a black dog at the enterence of the North Sandy desert! and He will ask you to find his weather stick! Once you find it give it to him and he will take the sand hole away!
When you have to find the stick, it gives you a scent trail..... DONT FOLLOW IT! It takes you past loads of snakes that you cant get away from. To get it, its in a little cavern near the big hole on the right hand side. Search in it and you have the weather stick. If you give it to the guy on the border of the Giggigli Village/North Sandy Desert he will stop all sand storms and the quicksand will go. If you can't get past it then you don't need to yet. Make sure that you do other things first like helping other dogs. When you need to you will be able to get past it.
Soon after beating Will, a dog will need help in the Northn Desert. Go help him. hewill say he needs to return home in the Ruin Village ad yo need to find he uicksand Stick to calm the sand. Once you begin, there will be atrail of pwprints. DO NOT FOLLOW IT! Instead, fllow the walls to the left and keep going. Then whe a new make a turn at the dead end to the right ad keep going ill you finda cave. Sniff in the cave and there is the stick! Return to the dog te same way and thn talk to him. Ta da! he sand hole is GONE!

I caught a yellowtail kingfish, but when I try to send it to my sister, the postman says I have nothing to send. why?

You cannot send any mail only until your brother or sister tells you if she wants it or he wants it
If you stored the Kingfish in your treasure box,you're going to have to open it up and retrieve it, then you should be able to send it no problem. That is if your "mom" or "sister" have asked for it already.
Im not sure you can send anything to them, I would suggest wait until they ask you for one or just sell it for some woofs. because I once tryed to send them a hat cause I dident want it. for some reson he said I did not have it. also you should check in your tresure trunk or what ever it was called.

Don't run really fast. you have to walk as slowly as possible and as far away from them as you can to get past them. make sure you stock up on medicines. but try not to freek out like I did, cos I get lost when I freek out. to get to the rose you have to go through alot of places in the caves. you will get to a pool with a small island in it. it is around there.
I got the blue rose easily because I exsplore the cave I got to a pool suddently I got the idea that I will sniff around so I did then I diged out the blue rose I when to chiro village and I used boris to take me home I gaved it to alice de end

Walk as slow as you can when near the bats! I freaked out and got so lost the big map of Chiro Caves couldn't even help me out! Also my dad is like the best at figuring that crap out and he couldn't even figure it out! I was SO tangled up! I did kinda got lost when I found the blue rose! I thought I knew where I was going! You know from just reasoning it out! And you know what?! I found a passage! A shortcut! Once you enter the caves from the Chiro village and go to your right! There's a little door thing?!

Do not ever, EVER run, ok? or the bats will wak up and try to catch you. dont listen to anyone who says that you need to run so you can past the bats, the bats still can get you.
Main rule - don't run. Use sniffing walk if they sleep. if they don't - stay away! and don't afraid of the bats! If you wake up them - run quickly...and it will take only half life)))

You have to go across Zoomy lake on the small islands. You have to get the hippo food to place on the stump so that you can jump on the hippo to get to the village. -Answer by:belleball
There is a chain of islands and a path on the land once you cross Zoomy lake. Then you can find rode in the big dojo with the black dog in a funky hat.
Make sure that you help every1 you can then go to zoomy lake and swim for a bit and you will see a small island with a tree stump on it .... you have to sniff out the hippo food then place it on the tree trunk. -Answer by:CheatChick
You go talk to the dog by the fallen down tree and she will ask you for an ax handle. Then you kill the big monkey dude and he will drop the ax handle. Then you talk to the dog again and she will cut down the fallen tree.

You have to get the second hippo in place, first. If you look at the map of Zoomy Lake, you'll see 3 islands in a row, a big gap, and then another island. The big gap is where you have to place the hippo. You have to sniff the stump on the island beside the big gap and then you can start searching for the hippo food. The hippo food is near the stairs on the big island where you found Dr. Potan earlier, looking at his friend's grave. Get the hippo food and place it on the stump. The hippo will come and you'll have to go back to the beginning of the 3 islands and keep jumping. You'll then come to a path and you'll be able to enter Zoomy Village.
Go to zommy pond go left til you reatch the end of the beach on the island keep going then turn right thers a tree stump find hippo food(on island where grave is)jump on hippo at zommy village
You have to turn it early. If you turn it too late, you will go straight and probably hit a bat.
You move the remote on the things that are not bats so say there was bat or banana you clik da banana
Just aim the paw print over to the side that you want to turn to. It took me forever to figure that out. The directions are NOT very good.

Ya know how to make your dog walk? do the same thing except don`t push A or B. when ya get the paw on the your TV screen soon you`ll see two or three signs. for example you`ll see a star, a banana, and a bat(the animal not the thing). point the paw in the direction of the star or the banana. your dog`s mine cart should bump into it and a music note will pop up over your dog`s head. his health should be restored by one heart. he will also be barking.
Do the same thing when you walk the dog and just press a when the paw is on the thing that you have to go the rite way

I was looking forthe same question and found it, it said it is at the green valley or something like that next to pupsville but you can only find it at night. I tried but it didn't work for me maybe it will for you.

It is in the green meadows accross the bridge. on the left. you have to start fishing at night and continue to fish in the morning to continue fishing don't stop and you will get it just don't it about 5 min ago. the bar in the middle that shows you fishing line it will be a big bar showing the size of the fish. it will be tough but you can do it.

The combination changes each time. To defeat him, on part 1 first run in circles, each time getting closer to the center. When he trips, go NEAR a switch and sniff. The sky whale is an animal from Anc world. Since the Gurdian Shell is fading away there is a disturbance in the natural order. For example dogs are going to anc world , ancs and anc like creature ( such as the sky whale) are appearing in the dog world.

The lily for your sister is in malshige's shop, the hair decoration. But a real lily flower you can't send to your sister- Gola highlands.
You can find lilies in Gola Highlands. I found a bunch on the higher ground, kind of by Tao's house. Of course you can only get one if you've fixed the bridge.
If your talking about how you send one to your sister, you buy one in the shop in pupsville for 4 woofs on the last page of hats in the clothing shop. Hope this helps.

There will be a mission from a black dog at the entrance to the North Desert and he will ask you to get a quicksand stick. You have to sniff a trail. It is hard to find but the stick is in a small hole. Sniff and you will find it

If you did the race with Will, then you find a black dog longing to get to dry valley. He teaches you the scent of the quicksand stick. It's a path. Belive me, it took me a long time to do. It's in a cave, and you need to find Gigili Village entrance again to give the cane to him. But, only if you have raced with Will then you can do that.
You can get passed but only after you race with the dog will. He is in the victory gang. After you race with will another dog will want to go to Dry Valley and he will ask you for a quick sand stick. The stick is in a cave. In The Desert
Later in the game there is a mission where you will clear the sand storm and get past the north sandy desert.
You hav to finish some other missions befor you can that then go into north sandy desert and help the dog infront of you and he will clear the desert but you hav to find his cane

You have to finish lots of other missions.After you finish them,Go to your map press A and it'll show someone needs help in the north sandy desert,Help the dog complete his quest and the sinkhole will be gone and you can go to dry valley.There's also a village called Rune Village in the middle of it near places called:Kunka ruins,Rune canyon,Rune caverns,And Ancient grove. If you help Isaki and his wife who makes the Saffron Soup, Isaki will be grateful and give you Marlin Bait.
You need to help Sayori make the Saffron soup for Isaki, then after the quest go to Isaki and he will give you the special bait in Gratitude for you helping them.By the way, can you catch Swordfish with the special bait aswell?

I think if you look closely there is a transparent bridge n you go across tht, but im not sure.
There is a brige that is really faint but if you look really close then you can go across the really faint part and it won't break.
When you get on the brige sniff a herb will come up follow that and than it be like your waking the air it does the beep sound you will be able to see the brige agin than just waik on it to the other side.

Go to the hoya plains and at the dock there. They are all I catch there
I had a hard time with this too. You fish in that medow when you go through the gate at Zoomy Village. I'm having a hard time remebering what that place was called. I hope this helps.

There is a little mini house thing and there is a polar bear by it you have to steer the polaar bear away then search it
U can scare the polar bear and then search in the little house cave thing next to it

Really you don't dig it up, you "search" in the little home made out of bricks. Beware! There is a bear at the doorstep :P
First go to the treely woods and fish at the place behind the gorilla about 6 times. Then go back to the green meadows and fish at the sea hopefully then you will remember the smell.
You need to catch a silver fish and a sardine to remeber the smell for the crabs.

Ounce you have excepted the challenge go over to the sea shore with the 2 dogs on it and sniff around. Sooner or later you will find it.

Go across the bridge and there is a dog in front of a big tree fallen over. He will ask you to find his axe handle. A gorilla has it. Well, first you have to get the axe handle for Goliath. Go to the gorilla and bark at him (Tip: You can go right up to it's face as long as you're walking). Bring the handle to Goliath and he'll chop the log. Go through and you'll find the blue flower by the entrance to Zoomy Lake.
You go to the end of Treely Woods, and you see some dog named Goliath. He needs an axe handle. You need to scare a gorilla. Now on this part, I got really confused, but it turns out there are two gorillas (I was so ticked off when I learned that!). Go across the bridge, scare the gorilla at the end of the place there. Just follow the river, you'll find it. Once you have the axe handle, go to Goliath, he'll open the way for ya. Go down the hill, then go to the little place under it.
I can't get the blue flower! I have got the lavender and helped Goliath and everything,but when I sniff for it it never ever beeps! Help!

Its not up there, I think it's by the cliff inbetween the bees and the entrance to zoomy village. I can't remeber, but I found the elephant food before I went to the dog with the bees.

I think it is between the two cliffs, sniff it out, and the more "bars" you get, then that means your getting warmer, so try and sniff untill you here a "ding" then dig there. ta da! you got elephant food!

Is there a giraffe around the place? Becuase I'm sure there is, the giraffe (if you've got the special item for it) the giraffe carries you up.

If it is up there you need to talk to some girrafe and he will ask you to find a girrafe note and when you do he will let you keep it and then talk to a giraffe standing near the place and he will lift you up and you will get it!Hope this helps!

Take it from me, have you given the girrafe his little thing from the boar? cause if you have talk to the same girraffe and then fallow the scent and it will be there. ( or try the other girraffe) I dont have a name on here so ill just make up one.

I don't know about the Cinnabar thing but I do know that the feather hats are 4 woofs from Malshiges or from Chiro but nowhere else. :-)

About the cinnabar, who do you refer to by "him" ? The cinnabar is for the quest where Hans (the dog painter) tells you that Blue is out and Red is in (after the mission when you have to get him the lazari blue crystal or something for blue paint, when he's at the gola highlands), and you have to give him the cinnabar so he can make red paint, I forgot where I got the cinnabar, because when I went to Hans for this quest I already had it. So there you go ) Oh yeah, and when he asks you to give him Henry's painting say YES so you can finish the quest.

OKay, you can get the feather hat at the fashion shop in Pupsville. Then, you go to the post man and go to send. Then, send the feather hat.

Transport to a place that has a stone gate find the swich in the back it will open the stone gate go trough it and you've found the anc queen.
You can talk to the anc queen after you do all of the missions, after you do the flower thing, the upper left, upper right thing, and find a switch mission. After you did all of those missions, then you will be transported to that little peice of "land" by the aligator. Got it so far? good and if you don`t, then read it agin. Anyways, after you do that, then you get up on the pestal, then you will watch a "clip" of the golden door open, after that, you have to swim past the aligator, then I suggest that you SAVE right now (mailbox). and tada! you can talk to the anc queen.
You have to sniff some swiches, then telaport on the gold stand thingy.

What I do is go in circles around it and it is stunned then sniff quickly to find the right button to push... do that 4 times, and later you have to sniff out a secret button... dont waste your time its in the very middle of the stage in a circle... and then the world is saved yay
Run around until it falls over then sniff quickly in all the buttons directions and run and jump on top of the one that your sniff leads to. Keep doing that until it falls over and its head falls off. But then it comes alive again. Run around it again so it falls over then run to the middle and dig. Another button should appear and then a movie clip happens and the skeleton dies. After that you go and get the stone of the heavens but I won't spoil the rest for you.

You need the Marlin Bait after helping Isaki and Sayori. Catch them at green meadows at the sea I believe at night
I dont think you need marlin bait coz I found mine in hoya plains, but im not right sure

Try to avoid him as much as possible by running as fast as you can. Then sniff out the switches aand when the blue bar is full, activate that switch. The dino will crumble a little if you hit the right one. Then, continue until you reach the second level. Sniff out the mystery switch and dig it as fast as you can. Then you will beat the dinosaur
At each corner there is a switch. Wait for the skeleton to make himself dizzy and sniff at the switch nearest to you. If it is correct, press it. He will be temporaraly killed. Sniff ocassionally if you can, and run around the ceter of the arena, closer to the middle each lap. sniff around while you do that. The switch should be there. Drink and eat herbs and medicene when you are down by 2 hearts for the best result.
On the second bit, make sure he is asleep and then sniff in the middle. The switch should be there. Hope that helps!
Here is the switch combination: First, go to the red switch and dig. Then, turn around and go to the switch you see and dig. Then go to the switch next to the red one (i think it's purple) and dig. Last go to the final switch and dig.

Before heading ta panel, run in circes and every circle, get clser to the midle. He should trip and fall. Then sniff out the correct pael. Go next to each one, not On it, and sniff. If the meter isn't closeto the top, then try another one. Once you ind it, the Dino shood wake up. Run the circle again after evry panel! Then at Part 2, go to the middle and dig. Then just sit down and watch as Dino dies.

Okay when I played this part it took me a few days to finally beat him. When you get to the second part the hidden switch is in the middle of the place. Circle around until he falls over and passes out for a few moments. Then dig up the switch and there you go. Hope it helped.
U have to try trip him up but I forgot how to, and try and sniff out the right button you need to get as quickly as you can and then quickly jump onto the correct button, then he will collapse for a while then you do the same with the next and the next and the next. After all that there's a button in the middle even though you can't see it, it's still there, you just have to try and sniff it out first then it will automaticly show you trying to jump on it it and the skeliton dinosour charging at you but you always get there first.

Just run really fast to every switch but dont go near a switch thats silver. and eventaully once you beat him sniff near the middle circle and find the second switch
When you have to find it go to um I think it was west or east chilly fields and there you have to go over to thin and strong ice. ( It took me a while) Then go to the hot springs on the left and you will find it near there -Answer by:CheatChick
If you enter the east chilly fields, you can cross the ice and sniff by the hot spring on the left, and the blue meater will show you a knit cap, but stronger this time. Dig for it by the hot springs.
If you dont know how to get accross the ice, do a little bark at the penguin on the ice, and he'll show you the path (beware, he is v. speedy)
When you get the scent of the knit cap you just follow these paw prents and it will lead to the knit hat

We have just gotten to the Anc Road. We passed the stone passage thing and put the tulip looking flower on its appropriate pedesal. How do we proceed? Do we have to get passed the crocodile?

The other awnser is right but, I figure youll get stuck like I did, so this is what you need to do, once you complete the puzzle the transport thingy should work, so step on it ( if theres a video skip it cause its the same as the last ) and then cross the water and talk to the anc queen. ( psst, you need to come back to this site when your done cause the rest is SUPER HARD! especialy the skelaton dino dude.

I played the game 2x and am on my 3rd time, and it is the same on the ps2 and wii, no matter what the game is the same. Anyway. The 2x I have played it I have gone on the date, but you don't have to. You can choose whatever missions you want except the major ones, so most likely you just haven't gotten to it yet. The next time you play, you know the part where you can choose to be the leader of the victory gang? well, whether or not you accept afterwards go back into their hideout and talk to Camu, and he will tell you he's in love with you and so will McCoy, so then you can choose and you have to date them 3 times in a mission called the golden dog. Its on Wii. You just have to go to Victory Gang Hideout and they'll have a task for you when you defeat all of them.

If your a girl dog you can date either camu or MCoy and if your a boy dog you can date amelia.

The only way to get the date is ( this is what I had to do ONLY ME!) but this might be what you need to do,
1: help them with all their problems.
2: defeat all them to get their badges ( in my case, it would take an hour or if your really good, twenty minutes it took me ten minutes :) but then again it was my third dog :( )

If your a boy you must have given peter the drop of romance and helped him to talk to amalia

I don't think you can just guess how many you have got. if you are on the part where there are no missions and tao keeps saying you can't become a sniff master and you think you have got enough smells, try going to the victory gang hideout. hope this helps :)
You go to your bag thing and click diary, there it will say my smells you click that and yoou can find out the rest!

You have to sniff and your nose will lead you too the buttons (of course it will only tell yo which one but you know what I mean!) and do that four times then you have to smell the secret one in the middle. hope this helps!
Man, I have done this before. Just run up to a switch and sniff it. If it is the correct switch, step on it. Then there will be a magical switch in the middle arena (where that big circle is) and dig it up to kill him for good.
Okay, Make a few sharp turns or run straight to the dinosaur and veer off the edge at the last minuite. Then head to the middle and sniff in a circle. In whichever direction the icon is biggest, head there!

You have to sniff to get the switches, I just sniff once and choose the one that is closest and is the most reasonable choice by looking at the sniff icon. I only sniff once because the dinosaur goes so fast that I dont really have time to sniff a lot.

I have done this before. Just sniff for a blue scent. If an orange scent comes up, run and sniff somewhere else.

When you emter the Chiro Caves, just go straight and any time you have two choices on where to turn (left or right) ALWAYS CHOOSE LEFT. Then you shoyld come to a little hole and go through it. There is a croc in the middle and four pillars on the rim, Henry is on the other side. If you keep to the edge of the room the croc wont see you. Henry will ask you to find four heavy stones. What you do is you go through Chiro Cave b1 and go the way with the snake. Then when you enter CHIRO cAVE B2 run to the path on the right. Then walk slowly cuz theres a load of bats that attack when you run. keep going foward and u'll be in b3
