The letters that you found are directions. That is why the first thing on the wall has a compass and buttons at the bottom that move when you click them. So, if the first set of letters is SE, you would click the first button so that it matches the direction SOUTHEAST on the rose compass. You need to find the sheets of paper and place it over both codes (the 1 upstairs and the 1 downstairs) then it will let you enter the SE, E, N, SE, N, SE, N, S, SE, E once that is done he will speak.
I entered se-e-n-se-n-se-n-e-n-s-se-e and it did work after you put it in he will speak and the safe will open debo

You should put the mirror too
Yeah, you should have created a square mirror within your own items. Go to your items and match your mirror up. I was just doing random stuff but I think it may have gone square when I matched it with my "casserole dish" of hot water. -Answer by:stuves

I think I have a glitch in my game. The characteres are not visible. I cannot see VH, Mina, the gravedigger, etc. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Try messing with the graphic options, but if that doesn`t work I guess you have to buy a new graphic card for your pc

I had the same problem after I messed with the options. Try setting them to default. That worked for me.

Could be your game. With mine I see all the character as I interact with them.

That happened to me. I messed around and figured it out. go to display properties by right clicking on your main computer screen and clicking properties. go over to settings and click advanced and go over to monitor. on the drop-down screen make sure 50 hertz is selected. if it already is then go to the main display properties/settings screen and make everthing as low as it gets. if that doesnt work idk what to tell you.hope it helps. -Answer by:XThinkOfMe9X
Help I am at the end of disc one and dont know what to do to get the second disc to open and run this is insaine!
Pop in the cd and it will run if not then there will be A FILE click on it or read the booklet that came with the game.
Disc one should tell you to inter disc two if not then start over

It is not a net but a veil laying on the tombstone. It turns into a net when you use it.

Kk you go halfway down the stairs to the secret door behind the candlestick on the wall pull the candlestick off with the pliers you should have found in the... basement(?)then you will have to measure the holes for a key by adding the measuring tape, the spool of thread, and the wooden spoon (i think) then click on each hole in the wall in turn, go down to the room with the cages and on the workbench make the key for the wall. inside the wall there is another door use the key from the safe to open it.

Now you will able to move inside the castle. In the corridor you found a curtain cord and a fur coat. Move to the left door of corridor. Here is the gate for crypt with a puzzle. Solve it, to use the combination of the colors on two panels in left side of the window, upper and lower corner. On the upper corner start the color combination from left with Green, White, Blue, Blue. And the lower corner from top with Green, White, Red, and White.
After the gate opened, enter in it and click on the first coffin which is in front of the stairs. That coffin named is "Moana" 12176. Be sure to click on both name and number on the coffin. When you uncover the coffin you received a report in your inventory, if you don’t receive a report click again on the coffin cover and click on both name and number.
Move to the next coffin. Left from Moana’s coffin, which is useless but click on it. Now move to the third coffin, this is Illona’s coffin repeat the same procedure of the first coffin and you again got a report from it, "Illona" 8954.
Go to the next coffin use axe on it. Now move to the last coffin, click on it to uncover, in that coffin you saw Harker. Click on it and got Harker’s journal, a book and glasses of Harker. Now combine the spike with hammer and use it on Harker’s body.
Now go back to the corridor and enter in to next gate. This is a big hall with carpet on the floor and many portraits on the walls. Go to left side of hall you found a large portrait of Dracula. In front of the portrait you found something on the floor. Click on it, and move to the next portrait which is covered by a curtain, pull curtain’s cord to remove it from portrait. Click on the curtain cord to get it.
Go to next step, in which you saw a cabinet with some shield, click on it has a lock. Click on the lock, VH says "some information missing”. Move to the next step here you saw two gates, one gate is locked but you can open the second door. From that door Jada will come out in the hall.
After it goes to the coachman, take the jar of jam from inventory and talk to him. Return back to gate which has shield and locked. Click on it now you are able to unlock it enter code 80099 to the panel and the door of the cabinet is open.
Get the coat of mail and crossbow from it and click on the shield. You got the last puzzle of the game, on the centre shield click on the moon type half circles to move them. When, they facing each other, leave them on to their position. Now click on any arrow under the small circles for fifteen times. If you did it correct, you got the Pelor shield. Use the vase (with blood) on Jada’s door, then auto movie starts.

K. the answer with the paper is that you use it on both wall safe looking things. and punch the hole into is it turns out that they are directions. like south, north, south east. and so one. then you turn the safe nobs to match the direstions.

Combine the spoon, thread, and measuring tape. Look for them at the lower left corner when you measure the holes. Click on them and drag over the holes and click to meausre each hole.

Ok I have all the symbles showing but can't move the gems. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong.
You have to move the other peices too. all but the center of the star. move them around, click the bat, and keep moving them until the words light up.
You have to do the gems first. Clockwise to the upper right. click the black, then the red, bat,blue,bat,green,bat, white, bat. they should be lit. then click the medium sized triangles and the bat everytime you switch until the symbols show ,then to the outer circles. Switch and click the bat till the words in latin all appear and VH will save the book AND takes notes.
