Try taking off the driver assist
Try not to hit any of the other trucks. They all run the same line, so if you run low with the driving assist on, you can pass them. But, whatever you do, don't stay below the line for 2 seconds. If you do than you will lose points. Just make passes. Assist can be full. I found it impossible to turn with no assist, maybe thats because I'm used to the older games where you don't have to break.
Dont hit any of the walls or any of the cars or it will dock you ten points and you have to pass all of the trucks but two
I think its because you already have a bunch of sponsors unlokcked when you start the game
The real reasoning on the sponsor shortage is because there are not that many corporations that signed on to sponsor the game
These sponsors become available when you have unlocked the fantasy drivers chase plate and to get the walmart sponsor you have to enter WalMart Everyday in the cheat code menu.
Once you get 50,000 try to pass the license challenge. If you are unsuccessful, just reset the game before it autosaves. You can try as many times as you need to!
Aftyer many many tries I finally passed the license challenge. it seems to me that the car is the fastest the first lap. I eased the car quickly but smoothly to the inside of the track and placed the left side tires on the yellow line and held them there very steady and smoothly for the entire session. the first lap I turned a lap of 50.992 ,which was good enough to pass. after that the lap times degraded by .2 to .5 seconds a lap. tghe second challenge seems to be much easier. It was very frustrating for me until I figured it out . hopefully this will help. good luck.
I have tried the first license challenge 7 times now, and keep running around a 51.26 as my best lap...any advice here?

If you are starting a new game, do the qualifying events at the beginning. you will have to beat 4 challenges. if you average gold, you will automatically get to start in the sprint cup series.
I had no problem getting all the licenses. Averaged gold on pro play and got a sprint cup and nationwide contract on my first try. Don't se the problem in beating it.
Learn to drive, it's easy... passed it on the first try
Along with going on the inside...if you dive into the grass just after pit lane and run towards the finish line that can shave off time...and resetting if you fail is the best thing...saves time and money
I have been in the Nationwide Series for 7 years I hade $4,500,073 I tried 45 time and I still can't pass its starting to get pissed off!
Stay on the yellow line, and try not to wobble, get down on the bottom of the track, or move much, it will decrease your speed. also try to keep your speed above 172, thats what I did and I passed it the first time
I think it might only be on the newer games instead of the older ones because I cant find it either and I have an older version of the game.

It's in the chase for the cup driver's screen ,or if your playing online,there's a button.
Most of the cheats are for ps3 and x360

When you go to chase for the sprint cup mode you have to type in a age where your driver was born enter it in the name part like for "WALMART EVERYDAY" you would put WALMART as your first name and EVERYDAY as your last name then after you enter the name and stuff do a race so its locked in then after one race exit out of chase mode and go to race now to see if it worked if so go back to chase mode you can change your name to another cheat or change it to normal if you want to you don't have to.(but for every cheat you have to do this)

I've done this 1 time when I had to pit and wasn't much many laps left so all you have to do is put your tire pressure all the way down, but the bad thing is your tires wear down quicker
Yes put checkered as your first name and flag as your last name
They say the that if you put in your first name as Checkered and your last name as Flag it will work. Trust me it dosen't. I tried putting it in and it didn't work one bit.

What you DO, is to get the car you have to a point where you can win a lot of the time (or all of the time) in "FAMILY PLAY", and then race, race race! Bank all the bucks you can on short races with a well developed car - but be warned! You make more money in the higher series races.
The flip side of that is that it COSTS a lot more to UPGRADE in the higher series races.
What is key here is to get a few engine upgrades and take advantage of the better handling in family play - you don't wipe out as much. Don't blow your cash on stuff you don't need. NASCAR did not race at Cirque De Gilles Villeneuve in 09, but they did race in Mexico, but that's not on there either for legal and licensing issues
Its the bolder canyon race giles has a copyright that it did not release to the game so they made a track to resemble it

It all depends on the track your on. but I put in 2 rounds of wedge and, well i'm the cup champ

What I do is at 1.5 mile tracks like lowes and atlanta is I go into the car setups then I go into the gear ratios and I set mine at present 10 and I go down to the rear end and set it at 5.00 and my car goes faster
