NASCAR 09
When first setting up your car sponsors, hit either the R 1 or 2 or the left 1 or 2 buttons. This will take you to the nationwide or the cup sponsor lists. I had the same problem and erased my truck status before I found this out. Gene
It's on the team contract page not the car sponsors page that you hit the R1 or L1 buttons.
You have to pick a sprint cup sponsor. when your choosing a sponsor press l2 and scroll to sprint

Yeah, you have to pick a truck series sponser and team

Stay behind a car until it says "Slingshot Ready" and then pass the car but in multiplayer mode it's difficult because all races are in pro mode and someone has special settings to they're car go faster.
After you go to race no and before you select a tract you can press square and change all the settings i.e flags nuber of laps difficulty ect.
When you pick the track push square and at the bottom is flag settings
When you're choosing your track, press square and the race settings will come up. Go to flags and choose what flags you want.

IMO working hard is the key...But if you are only looking to have some quick fun with the game your going to wait for a little while longer. EA has yet to release a downloadable update that allows you to do so with/out a cheat.

Where you can choose from your paint booth, go race your sponsors etc. go to career settings and there should be a flags on/off button

Its really about how you want the car to feel. your speed will mostly be determined by you performance points. but you can mess around with some stuff to help your car turn better. I usually start with determining the track surface, bumpy or soft. if its bumpy, set your car up soft by lowering the bump setting. if its smooth, you can make the car a little stiffer to help it change directions faster. if your car understeers, either dial some rear brake, or mess with the right front camber a bit. if you have oversteer, then lower the right rear track bar or loosen the rear sway bar or tighten the front. its really all a matter of personal comfort and finding a good medium.

The reason that they are so fast when playing online is the set up. The better you get a working with the set up, the better you will be on the track. Some that play online have thousands of hours playing around with the set up

I think that if you r like, at Bristol, you have 2 make your preformance points for short tracks go all the way 2 100 4 all 4 subject thingys.

YES! not many know about this but it works. you need to buy an adapter (usb to ps2) you need to use a ps2 or a controller with no analog sticks. it works
