Dont fight them swim down to the switch sit tight they eventually both kill themselves may take a while but it worked for me

Focus mainly on one of them to begin with and don't look at them when they shoot their rays from their eyes or you will turn to stone.
after you enrage one and get a good shot in he will stagger for a while, use your grapple to hook his shield. next time they shoot rays from their eyes use the shield to reflect back at them and he will turn to stone.
once that happens he is much easier to kill, the do the same with the other.

You should open the right side first and then come back to the left one which is closer to you, its about being fast

The safe spot is on top of the boulder between the two spiked logs on the right side of the open area when facing the temple. It's outlined in the screenshot above. Do not run directly toward it at the start of the battle, though. If you do the T. rex will most likely follow, and the "safe" spot won't be so safe after all.
