A1: 
If you're using windows 7 close process audiodg.exe that eats alot if your processor if old. You will have no sound but great fps.
A2:
I tried it with a 512mb gpu and it didnt run great I had to run on minimum graphics then I baught a £80 1gb card and rund on full now.
