The "Social Bunny" shows up when your social meter gets too low.
When he shows up your sim can talk, hug, etc and fill the social meter back up. When it's full enough the Social Bunny jumps out of lot, keeps you from getting depressed.

Well you can get them inside or make a lake/pool so they can swim in it, that cools them down very quick.
Either hire a nanny, or keep a close eye on them.
Drinking water helps too.

Im stuck at the jar of light but the musical insrument is were she tends the bars theres a stage wich you clik on the instrument and hit play and she will come runing if she is near
The jar of light is when you catch the lighting bugs and put them in a jar and then give them to the villager
He means the "Jar of light" As in firefly's... they will pop up randomly at night time... dunno where to try though... -Shellshockz11
You don't actually need to do this - Just make friends with them and the green bar will fill to the top. (:
On the second villager all you need to do is light either one of the rubbish pits in the village. And on the fourth villager you needto catch the fireflies which will appear at night time.

Go to the treasure chest its where you look to check if your sim is alright and healthy or needs to use the bathroom then look for the wiindmill and thats how you get power

After you have pleased the last villager, the ranger should show up and tell you the chief wants to see/talk to you. You might wait in his chair to see if he comes around.
I'm stuck in the same spot, I've made friends with every villager at the harbor (yes I've been there that long) and I never saw a ranger, but the bar with the 4 villagers has disappeared and so has my map, I've tried sitting in the chair, but nothing has happened.
This answer is specifically for the lost map issue in answer #2. The same thing happened to my daughter. She lost her map, and all portals from a locale turned red! Try going to your last saved game, but if that doesn't work, you might be dealing with a game glitch, at which point your only option is to re-load the game, and re-play the scenario. Who knows? You might find your second walk-through more successful anyway because of what you learned from try number one. Took me three or four attempts to beat the game the first time.

Make sure you click on a reasonable exit point to leave water. On a slower computer (like mine) this is not an uncommon occurance. If they never leave the water, your game may have glitched for some reason, and you might have to re-play the entire scenario. OUCH! Yes, that has happened to me...

Hot Springs portal is in top left of lot.

The HOT SPRINGS portal is in the VILLAGE HARBOR. When you complete the 2nd "Meet the Villagers" FOLLOW AS SOON AS CHIEF FANGALOKA INVITES YOU--even if every motive is red. As soon as you call your date, and meet with him/her, map out to recuperate then map back. (I recoup at Barren Banks, Castaway Beach, or the Abandoned Research Base--NEVER at home) It pays to leave your lean-to, fire pit, and garbage pit at Castaway Beach for just this reason. If you go home, you get stuck going to work which delays your recovery time. By the way, this strategy works at any point in the game--even at top difficulty level.

What wood are you looking for? If you've hewn Sandalwood, you have the axe nec. to cut any wood. Jungles have most wood. Hope that helps!

You have to work on the relationship again, using talk and admire and telling jokes works, then try flirt and kiss, once the relationship is high enough you can get them to move in and so on. It takes sometime but you can get back together.

Some sims just don't go with each other because they are too oposite, but I would try sitting them on a love seat and just cuddling, also instead of trying to make them kiss, just get them to talk and joke and admire each other, once the relationship is high enough they should be able to kiss, woohoo and try for a baby

You need to use the outdoor firepit grill, it looks like an old oil can that was cut away. then you click on it and choose serve lunch or dinner. There is an option for catfish chowder.

When your relationship is high enough, you call sim from Hot Springs, you ask them for date. If you can talk to sim at least once, then you call them, watch the time, they don't like to be woke up. When you call them, click "just talk" to build up relationship. They will call you too. If you like maids better, talk to one of them at least once, then call her after you get home from work to build up relationship to date.

There is no real cheat for it but I found that chating with them is the best way. and if your up to the bit where you need to befrind som of the villgers then you need to get som things for them...i think.
Do this cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and click on the mailbox and search for make friends for me... there you go you have lots of friends now...
Have your sims career as a gatherer- Once they reach a certain level, they will unlock the potion crafting bench in the career rewards. Or - after you unlock 'Creepy Hollow' you can make love potions there (if you aren't a gatherer, or not at that level yet).
OR- In your aspiration rewards, you can purchase the tiki statue thing that wears sunglasses. This makes the wearer of the sunglasses actions towards other sims (or animals) count heaps more. But be careful, you need to have at least a aspiration level at gold, and make sure the action is not something that will offend the other sim, because it'll be more offensive.
