Alone in the Dark WII Q&A

Q: I am near the ned of the game. I go into this room with spiked walls on both sides, there is a pair of "light sensors" on the wall as well. There is also a wooden thingy that needs to be moved in order to trigger the light sensors so that you can go up. I would then trigger the light sensors and run towards the platform to go up. I can't make it by running or running then jumping. I keep jumping up instead of forward. Been at this for quite awhile, can anyone help? Cheers.

A1: Push the wood thing past the light and on the square on the floor behind it. It will then start on fire and then you push it back to block the light. This will allow you to walk onto the exit platform, and the box will burn up and the platform will rise.

Q: At the train station I have killed all the monsters and crossed a gap in the ground by entering a train car, walking on the roof and then dropping back down to the station floor. My problem is now there is a new train car which has a throttle marked with "A". Everytime I push it forward the train drives forward a foot or so and then stops dead. Can anyone help me with this part?

Q: I'm near the end of the game in a room that has a completely dark floor. There are two lights on the right, one on the left. I can move around partially in the room but am unable to see the actual floor in the darkness. How do I make it visible so I can cross the room?

A1: Go into dark mode and the path in the room will appear

A2: Try closing your eyes

Q: What do I do in the carpark?

A1: You have to get past the fissures, and put out the flaming car, with a fire extinguisher. Move the car out of the way, and check the different cars, some will have ammo, and one has the key in the sun visor. Now drive away.

A1: Theres a statue in that room that has an axe on it, take the axe and cut the dead guys arm off to get through the hand sensor things

Q: After killing the zombie and pulling the ladder down, I have found myself lost in the sewers with a big ladder I can't climb, and weird electric currents which I can't pass. How can I get out?

Q: Im completely stuck on the bit where you've just got out of room 943 and you're in the train station, ive got past all the zombie things and im up to the part where there is the great big hole in the ground and the train next to it, I went through the train and got into the other side, where the steering thing is, but I cant work out what to do next, cos every time I press A and the train starts moving, it just judders to a halt and I cant work out what to do next. any help pleaseeee?

Q: Hi, I'm at the beginning of the game, swung across various ledges etc & got to a balcony & gone into the room which has a fire raging underneath it & I can see a door below me & a door at eye level. I can jump across a gap to the otherside of the room (which brings me nearer to the door) but I cant seem to jump across far enough to reach the door?! ARGH! Where do I go? Its soooo frustrating!

A1: You need tom go down a couple of of the car park, where most of the zombies are, you will to walk through to the end and then grab a fire extingusher go up the ramp and the put the fire out at the top. Then come back down move the car that is blocking the garage door, put the fire out and then push the A Button behind it and move it. Then you need to find the car which is on that level, get in it then smash through the garage doors to get back to the top to pick the old guy and girl up.

Q: Okay so im at the very beginnig of the game where your in the hallway with the fire extinguisher and you have to jump over the hole, are you supposed to bring the fire extin with you or do you leave it behind? and how do you put out the other fire on the otherside of the hole without the fire extin

Q: I just bought the game. How do you make hiom stop blinking? Everytime I stopp making him blink, bu pressing the down button, he dies and the game starts over. Do I have to press the down button during the whole game ? Please help me?

A1: Yeah I know what ya mean I hated the beginning ya see in the intro your guy is really out of it so keep blinking till he can move and stuff after a while a guy will be killed by invisable force you fall and must run away after a few cutscenes you are better and on top of an elevator so only when deeply hurt do you have to blink repeatedly
