You can buy a book at that magazine stand that shows you what picking the lock looks like. You have to get all the cylinders to line up with that top line. Every time I went to pick the lock different ones moved, so I think that is just trial and error.

You have to dial in 111#046 then the paper will come up then you punch the numbers on the phone according to the corresponding tune

Ok I finally got through this. Try writing down the music notes from the music box on a piece of paper and then press the corresponding buttons by looking at the fax paper on to the phone's keypad. You'll find out.

You have to quickly hide in the cupboard - it's against the wall on your left as you face the exit.

When you're facing the door, quickly move the mouse cursor to the top left - it should turn into an angled arrow. Move there quickly (there's a vase and small table), then swing around to your left till you see a metal closed cupboard (not the open bookrack next to it). Click the cupboard about twice and Nancy will duck in there. Wait till Fango leaves again - remember to click on the poster on the door before you leave. It might take a couple of tries even when you know what you're aiming for, but if you move quickly, you should be fine.

Carefully listen to the preview sounds the book gives you before you audition....once your on stage, you will hear the same sounds mixed in with the tempo, click on the icon that represents the sound (May take a few times, but dont give up!)

I found this really hard. It was around the 20th time I did it (I still sucked) when I was given the cat-suit and told to go home and practice.
I had the bar at the top a little more than half filled. As far as I know there is no trick, you just listen for the sound and click the correct circle.

Watch the lights - below stage, hanging lights, neon lights change color for most of the sounds.
A5:
If you can't make heads or tails of the sounds watch the stage for the lights to change colors, this indicates the symbol to activate.

Under Settings, cut the voice and music volume all the way down. (Memorizing the song will also help.)

Q:I am playing as a senior detective, we caught that guy who won't confess, I got the key from the propane tank. Went to where the "safe place" is supposed to be and when I go to Santa Fermosa there it is not letting me do anything but enter the shop. Is there anything I'm supposed to do before hand.....? Hmm... When you used the fax machine make sure that when you were told the location of the stolen goods and that nancy said something. Did you try using the key on the safe next to the fountain? It should work.
