You are probably pressin l1 or r1 by accident which activates slow motion
Waggle r3 instead it is much faster I was getting 14 seconds with x,o but now I get 9.30 by waggling
Try moving your analogue sticks left to right or right to left doesnt matter I can get 9.80 with perfect start have fun :)

Tap quicker you remod and get a good start
Here's what I do:
get a lighter (nothing works better) and just shake it from X to O as fast as you possibly can sthg liek this:
X----O --> Lighter--> X --> O
get a lighter (nothing works better) and just shake it from X to O as fast as you possibly can sthg liek this:
X----O --> Lighter--> X --> O
Maybe try different techniques and see if that makes a difference. If you press X and O alternating maybe try other ways of pressing them, like putting a plastic bottle cap into a sock and rubbing it accross the buttons. If you "waggle" the L or R analog sticks then hold the controller like a gun and move your hand over both of the analog sticks using your palm and fingers. You can also find other techniques by searching on google. currently I run 9.88 sec and I'm hoping to improve.
Best way is to press your 1st finger ad thumb together - place between te x and o buttons, then rapidlygo over the buttons, as though you're colouring something in - but be prepared for blisters though :-)
Use your index finger and rub x and o alternatively. I run 9.77. did that 3 times in a row and having trouble getting faster....
Get a Turbo controller and sync it with circle then just tap x as fast as you can
Put a pound coin on the right analog stick and shake it as fast as you can ive had 9.47 use celotape to put the pound on
I can only get 14 seconds

I need help with the team pursuit I can get full power at the start easy but I need help with a good way to race I can get around4:11:56 as my time but cant qualify!?
Question from: Dave1711(62)
A1:

I'm having the same problem, the only thing that I've learned is get the best start you can and keep your power meter around or on the red line to save stamina, and change about once per lap. the key is when you're changing you don't want to slow down, so you have to pedal faster. then slow down once the next guy leads so that you don't go too fast. the faster you go the more energy you lose. I've noticed I have a 3:50:57 in training but in competition I havent broken 4:05:00. when I did training though I noticed it's a lot easier to keep the pace the same. hope this helps.
A2:

Swap your lead player every lap I got the world record on my first go

Why such a big splash at the of the diving can anyone help me please?
Question from: Seany(46)
A1:

U just have to follow the marker(the moving ball)keep going and at the end dont stop
A2:

First get your jump power as high as you can. Then follow the marker. Now you will notice like a 2.2 or 3.1 number or something like that. That is the difficulty of the dive. Now you WANT the more difficult dive BECAUSE that increases your score...like it does in real diving. In order to get the same score on the highest difficulty dive with the easiest one, you better be getting straight 9.5's with an occasional 9.0 in there. So do the more difficult dive. After you do well in springboard diving, try platform diving. That uses two markers that time but they are slow so it isn't too too hard. Good luck!

What I do is, instead of hitting x-o back and forth, I "waggle" the right analog stick to the left and right. In other words, I take the stick and jiggle it all the way to the left and right. You will see your speed increase by a lot and I get first every time.

A1:

Try waggling the L3 or R3 from side to side as this seems to be a bit faster. I get in the low 9.7's Also start waggling at the moment the gun goes of or you may miss the first couple of strides. Practice the waggle. I place the stick just at the bottom of the first two fingures of my right hand and then go like crazy. Make sure the stick travels the complete distance from side to side. Good Luck.

A1:

You waggle the stick till full power, move the left stick to the right while still waggling until it says power lock then throw
A2:

Ok....rapidly type the x and o buttons until the power is as high as you can get it. After ward, pull the left analog to the right. That will lock the power so you don't need to press any more. Then you need push the left analog to left to a 45 degree angle...halfway between all the way up and all the way the the left. The closer you get it to that angle and the closer you get to the line and release without fouling the better you will do.

I'm not too sure about the counter throw but the buttons to hit in order are: - (X, Square, Triangle and O). OR (Square, Triangle, O and X) OR (Triangle, O, X, Sqaure) or (O, X, Sqauare, Triangle).
Essentially, all the buttons in a circle. There may be other moves but I find these work and I win most bouts. You have got to be quick with the direction arrow. Watch the bout and it is the same moves each time.

You press x or o and when the bar under your name is full you can press triangle to smash the ball.
A2:

As soon as the ball is returned to you hit your x or o button. Don't wait till the ball is at your paddle. And if you get a perfect serve they usually can't return iy.

Yes nothing else works but a good way to tap easier is by putting your finger in your shirt and move it back and forth. It provides no-friction tapping
No, in most athletic events you can waggle the L3 and R3 joysticks from left to right...and in swimming you rotate the joysticks around - much easier than x and o
I have tried doing everyway I can think of to go faster but nothing seems to work should I give up or has any one got any other ideas?
Put a sock on your hand and do it but make sure its clean :)
The fastest way to press your buttons is by holding the pad with your right hand (If right handed) at the centre of the controller and arching your thumb at a 90 degree angle, placing the tip of your thumb above the 'x' button. Now put your left hand in the same position but grip the left arm of your controller with your left hand and have your left thumb in a 90 degree angle resting on the 'o' button. By rocking the pad bvetwen both hands, you are now alternatively pressing the buttons. With practice, you can speed this up to a 'shiver'. Perfect this technique and its impossible to loose at athletics - on the pole vault, I hit the highest possible height on my first go. Its also good for any game that needs rapid pressing of any buttons - e.g. on the old knockout kings - you get up evry time you've been knocked down! Pontypridd crew have been using this method for over 10 years.
Ha, ha. ^^^^^^ he's absolutley right, I never lose, with a good start I have Usain Bolt's time 9.69. I've been doing this since Sega's Olympic Summer Games on the Sega Genesis (Atlanta 1996). Oh no the secret's out. I think this is the best way ^^^^^^^^^^^^
That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. The 'shiver'. What lengths we will go to for the love of the gaming. He's right. It is the only tried and tested technique, other than the lint cloth rub.
