Well I usally just pick a random team but if you want win national championships and titles you should go to a bcs confrence
For recruiting power right after you start the dynasty, Arizona State and USC get a lot of the best recruits.

Florida! I've been with them for 2 seasons and have gone undefeated

MICH undefeted got 1st ranked w\ that team
I had 3 BCS wins with Alabama.

You just have to get max point in each training event, and you can pick any school you want to be in..
Sometimes I put OSU in the fcs
It sounds like your doing everything right, just make sure you spread the ball around, run up the score (try to win every game by 30-50 points), get good recruits, and don't have a cream-puff schedule. Make sure to be in the top 15 in schedule strength.

When you suspend players make sure the NCAA interest meter is not high.

You have to save your dynasty RIGHT AFTER each game. simulate all the games by the other teams before your next game. if the suspension screen appears just restart your dynasty from the point of your last saved game, simulate all the games again and the suspension screen should disappear, if not, keep restarting your dynasty from the last saved game until the suspension screen disappears, should only take 1 or 2 restarts

Do the in season recruiting and target a few five star caliber prospects and give them a lot of points. and do good at their position during the season (have good pass attack for recruiting QB, or good pass D for safeties). you should get most of the prospects you recruited (btw dont get junior college prospects bc they're not that good and they usually only have a year or two of eligibility) and then keep doing that every year and eventually you get real good prospects in the offseason recruiting. I started a dynasty with the Baylor Bears and didnt edit their roster at all. I did all that stuff in recruiting and after nine seasons iv won 4 straight national championships, gone undefeated five times, and have like fifty or sixty five star prospects on my team.
Or you could create a punter/kicker in the offseason (only during the first week) with no kick power/accuracy, and max everything else out. this makes a 1-star beast so you can change his position once the season starts.
Funnest thing to do is create a team (Cupcake) replace one of the independent league teams with your team. Load up your schedule with ALL top 25 teams. Set your settings of play to Overtime Only. If you come close to losing the ot then hit restart. Chances are you will only crack the top 10 if you go undefeated. you start ranked like #130. In about three years other divisions will ask you to join them.. Deny them every time and enjoy creating your own schedule every year.
Recruiting: go after all 5 star players. give 6 points to all players. then go back and add 1 point to each player who is not already in top five.
play one week then check the recruits. Me persoanly, I drop a kid that has poor anything. Take his points and add to the kids who have been scouted and are at least average potencial, good conduct. Then if they pass my criteria ie good or excellent then they always stay three points ahead of kids that have not been scouted yet. example:
ray jones good, good 10 points
john falco ?, ? 7 points
check it each week and constently adjust the good players and eliminate the bad ones. Towards the visit time you should have 6 to 9 players left with 15 to 18 points on them. (different every year)
With this system I get 5 to 8 of the best players in the country every year. Not to mention properly scouted and won't get you into trouble with the NCAA sanctions.
PS excellent, excellent will probably be a 99 player by the end of his soph year.

Columbus, OH or Miami, FL) and change their position to k or p (Note: if making more than 3 players, it is easier to recruit them if they are not the same postion. ex. 2k and 2p). Then change all of their stats to 99 other than kick power/accuracy. This way they are 1star, 40ovr. Then recruit them and change their position to whatever you need and viola, a 99ovr recruit at any position other than k or p. And if you were unable to recruit them, go to the 'created prospects' option on the country recruting screen and delete them so that no other team is able to have them.

To turn a linebacker into a heisman candidate you should try raising his speed and carrying attributes and moving him to HB or FB and running him to the outside.
Get as many sacks, tackles, and interceptions as possible, its very difficult.

Seems to be a flaw in the game when you even view the player promise. IE. click from no to yes then back to no again. Just leave it alone when the request comes up. DON'T touch it.

Yes you can, I played with hawaii for 3 seasons, went undefeated, and then got invited to play in the PAC 10 and Washington went to the WAC, but I didn't actually do anything, it just popped up during the offseason and I accepted it

First go to my ncaa then my shrine then look for pennents once there hit select to enter the codes. To use them go into a game pause and go down to campus challenge and then pennents and press x to play the pennents.But make sure you save or you will lose all of the pennents.

You can't the QB wont tuck the ball in and run until you pass the line of scrimmage because if you don't the computer thinks you're going to pass the ball so it keeps you in a pass stance so dont push "x" or the QB is going to pass it to the "x" receiver.
