You have to play one of the two games online before you start the game. PLaying the games will get you exclusive in game items, one of which being a hero doll which is required for an achievement. When you get to that chest in the beginning of the game that is where the items will be.

I am trying to pick treasure in Knot Island's big freeze but I can't. I am also trying to get past the electric gates to get to the shrine.
I have only been playing this game for 3 nights. Total newbie.
Any help would be great.

In the room with the electric currents going down a walkway you need to hit each of the lighted circle things just in front of the currents with your sword. Each one will eliminate one of the current streams.
In the other room, its a little harder. The current runs the length of the room. In the back is one of those light ball things. Hit it with your sword and it will jump to the front of the room then come back and land some where, it will be yellow now, shoot it quick (no need to aim well) and it will fly to the front, come back and land again, it will be red. Use any will spell on it except the swords one (you don't need it to be a strong spell, just quick).
You have to keep this up the pattern is Blue = hit with sword, Yellow = shoot with gun or crossbow, Red = hit with will spell.
It will go like this Sword, gun, will, sword, will, gun, sword, will, gun, sword (back of room), sword (front of room). If you have done it correctly (and I hope I got it all down right for ya) the elect. current will go away.
