I cant land the damaged plane in the holding guadalcanal. Is there a special way to do this?

Once you are damaged, bank to the right (the way that is easiest to go) and loop around to the field. go to min. throttle and land, making sure that you don't hit anything. It will take a little bit for it to register, but go as close as you can to the green target marking.
Don't wait to get damaged. Land after you get the last tank. Don't go after the ships. Just land and wait for the flak to hit you. Ride it out, letting Frank and Tom go after the bad guys. You'll eventually get the option to change your plane.
Take it nice and easy and land normally and give yourself alot of room for it you need to stop in the right spot. Annoyingly things are on the runway so watch out! -Answer by:Yin717
Change your Wii Remote setings to "Arcade" instead of "Simulator" this will make the plane a little more controllable. That is if you can't land before you get hit, this is really the best.
Go to the right and got towards the air port then go past it and turn a right by the mountain then you should be in front of the port then take out your wheels by pressing 2 then land.

Note: you need to slow down before you land.

Surprise Attack: Any good hints on following Tom? I've tried varying speed and distance, everything I can think of but I keep getting killed (following Tom into a mountain) or spotted (trying to stay alive while following Tom). According to the walkthrough, I'm supposed to fly exactly where he does, which I try, but to no avail so far. So, anybody got the secret to this? An indepth hint to get me passed this level so I can move on?

You keep an eye on Tom and Frank as they take off and don't wait for clearence from the tower when you have control of the plane just take off, stay off the throttle and follow what tom or frank(i don't know which one) says. Do that and you'll be fine
When it looks like Tom is going through a mountain, he's really on the other side of it. That realization finally got me through it. Fly low but go over or around the mountains and find Tom on the other side.
Keep your speed low but fast enough to keep with them. Don't go high is you lose them just keep low and follow their path. If you lose sight just follow a path you think they took till you find them. Chances are you'll find them without being caught. -Answer by:Yin717

How do I get a picture of the plane on the Desert Recon. level?

A1:
Your supposed to take pictures of the enemy ground bases, not planes. When you see a red square on the radar after all the beeping then you go towards the red arrow(which means ground enemy) an pres the secondary wepon botton(the "c" botton for the Wii)
A2:
When the bar at the top of the camra turns green you hold "c" until it takes the pic. I recommend going slow if you go fast you wont have enough time to get the pic. you can get it gong normal speed but its easier going slow

How do you follow tom through the fjord?

A1:
1. its Joe, not Tom 2. look at the last question
A2:
This is the hardest bit of the game and it took me months to do. My best advice is don't go slow, by going fast you are more agile. Also, the more times you do it to more you learn the route and the easier it becomes. It is actually rather easy it is just the tight turns that threw me. -Answer by:Yin717

How do you get pass the mission called The Battle of New Georgia?!?!?! Everytime I go to the 169th infantry, and I bomb the tanks, it says the invasion failed! Help me PLEASE!

You basically need to destroy all of the first group of tanks that are on the hill with the first pass, so throttle down and start shooting missiles early and try to get a few so you can get at least one reload.
Stay at 172nd and destroy everthing thn go and bomb the 169th infantry
When told to move on DO IT! You can go back and finish them off some other time. When your told to move another group is in more trouble so the current group your on will be fine. -Answer by:Yin717

Were are the german camps on the 5th level on blazing angels?

Question from: kylek(6)

A1:
There are two progress bars on the lower left of the screen. They represent radio signal strength from the German camps. Keep you airplane level and swivell left and right until you see both bars rise to full height. Then the normal tracking display will appear for your target.
A2:
There are these little bar things on your screen at the top. They make morse code type sounds. Keep going in the direction so that the bar get's filled up by the box's and then you'll find it. It is the hardest thing on the mission though so I understand your problem. -Answer by:Yin717

Changing planes?

A1:
Sadly you can't change planes during the game unless the mission requires you too. If you think you want a better plane you will have to restart the whole mission. I know it's a pain but it does help you choose the best planes.
P.S The British planes have the most powerful guns and can destroy the Japanese planes easily!
-Answer by:Yin717

If you are talking about how to switch planes during the level on guadalcanal you hold - and I think one at the same time and it will switch the planes.

Is the game hard for evry one I can't get past the tutoral?

Question from: grm(8)
4 Answers +
Kind of
It is hard but you do get used to it. The levels are hard but it's not impossible.
No harder than spelling everyone, or tutorial. I suggest more time studying English and less playing video games.
For me the tutorial is the hardest part! I keep failing it every time I go back to it. The hardest part is dropping flyers. But don't worry you'll get the hang of the controls and usually, I just ignore that bombing circle thing and use my initiative to bomb properly, and it always works! -Answer by:Yin717

How do you get through the ice canyon?

I am so sorry im stuck on that level but here is a tip when your turning go slow when your flying straight go fast
Try god mode I did it without it though so its not impossible!
God mode isn't needed. it only protect you from projectiles, not crashing. go slow on corner and (pay attention here!) go fast on straightaways. if you don't the timer will get to 0:00 before your even out of the canyon. this level seems impossible, I'm still on it.

How to destroy German convoy before it gets to the bridge?

Question from: brucez(3)

A1:
From the Check Point the tanks are to your right. Turn to the left, toward the bridge, until the tanks are to your immediate right. Line them up in a strait line use both guns and bombs. You need to take out most of them on the first pass, you will only have time for one more if you hurry.

How do I get pass the top secret mission?

Pray.
I suggest slowing down to the lowest speed possible to increase maneuverability, then when you need to go straight, gun it full throtle so save time. it worked for me but it still took awhile.
It took me a long time but I managed it by flying as fast and as smooth as I could using the Spitfire V (the most agile plane I had unlocked up to then). when you get through the canyon (at this point you get a 'checkpoint reached' message (phew!)) you have to bomb some ships. After this, another canyon (easier) then have a bit of a dogfight and bomb some buildings. Lastly another canyon (the last) to finish. in this last canyon, however, there are ME110 aircraft in front of you firing their rear guns at you. I found this only served to distract my flying trying to shoot them down so, after a few crashes, I didn't bother trying. Hope this helps.
Gun the throttle as much as possible and, through trial and error, grab a good line. With the right line, you should be able to stay at full throttle the entire way to save time. As for the enemy planes that fly ahead of you, if you get a shot take it, otherwise just ignore them.
