There are two progress bars on the lower left of the screen. They represent radio signal strength from the German camps. Keep you airplane level and swivell left and right until you see both bars rise to full height. Then the normal tracking display will appear for your target.
A2:
There are these little bar things on your screen at the top. They make morse code type sounds. Keep going in the direction so that the bar get's filled up by the box's and then you'll find it. It is the hardest thing on the mission though so I understand your problem. -Answer by:Yin717
Once you are damaged, bank to the right (the way that is easiest to go) and loop around to the field. go to min. throttle and land, making sure that you don't hit anything. It will take a little bit for it to register, but go as close as you can to the green target marking.
Don't wait to get damaged. Land after you get the last tank. Don't go after the ships. Just land and wait for the flak to hit you. Ride it out, letting Frank and Tom go after the bad guys. You'll eventually get the option to change your plane.
Take it nice and easy and land normally and give yourself alot of room for it you need to stop in the right spot. Annoyingly things are on the runway so watch out! -Answer by:Yin717
Yeah, like he said.if you are starting the game and then you pause it,it wont work.go to the MAIN MENU and hold the MINUS button, and then press 1,2,1,2,1
Sadly you can't change planes during the game unless the mission requires you too. If you think you want a better plane you will have to restart the whole mission. I know it's a pain but it does help you choose the best planes.
P.S The British planes have the most powerful guns and can destroy the Japanese planes easily! -Answer by:Yin717
It should say on the Menu page but I would think you would need to complete the campaign or the mini campaign to unlock it all. Not everything is accessible until the campaign is complete. -Answer by:Yin717
A2:
Or you can just type in the EVERYTHING cheat.here it is.HOLD MINUS and then press 1,2,1,2,1.has to be in MAIN MENU
You keep an eye on Tom and Frank as they take off and don't wait for clearence from the tower when you have control of the plane just take off, stay off the throttle and follow what tom or frank(i don't know which one) says. Do that and you'll be fine
When it looks like Tom is going through a mountain, he's really on the other side of it. That realization finally got me through it. Fly low but go over or around the mountains and find Tom on the other side.
Keep your speed low but fast enough to keep with them. Don't go high is you lose them just keep low and follow their path. If you lose sight just follow a path you think they took till you find them. Chances are you'll find them without being caught. -Answer by:Yin717
I only know of taking pictures of German bases on the desert level, which I think is level 5. You should re read you objectives just to make sure your taking a picture of the right thing! -Answer by:Yin717
Your supposed to take pictures of the enemy ground bases, not planes. When you see a red square on the radar after all the beeping then you go towards the red arrow(which means ground enemy) an pres the secondary wepon botton(the "c" botton for the Wii)
Hold down the secondary fire button when both the vertical and horizontal frame lines turn green. When the status bar on the right fills up, You'll see a white flash...the photo has been taken. Circle the target so the camera stays close enough to maintain a "green" status.
A2:
Press and hold A and it will follow the selected enemy plane/object. No real control to change the camera view other than 1 to go into the cockpit or come out. -Answer by:Yin717
You basically need to destroy all of the first group of tanks that are on the hill with the first pass, so throttle down and start shooting missiles early and try to get a few so you can get at least one reload.
When told to move on DO IT! You can go back and finish them off some other time. When your told to move another group is in more trouble so the current group your on will be fine. -Answer by:Yin717
For me the tutorial is the hardest part! I keep failing it every time I go back to it. The hardest part is dropping flyers. But don't worry you'll get the hang of the controls and usually, I just ignore that bombing circle thing and use my initiative to bomb properly, and it always works! -Answer by:Yin717
I suggest slowing down to the lowest speed possible to increase maneuverability, then when you need to go straight, gun it full throtle so save time. it worked for me but it still took awhile.
It took me a long time but I managed it by flying as fast and as smooth as I could using the Spitfire V (the most agile plane I had unlocked up to then). when you get through the canyon (at this point you get a 'checkpoint reached' message (phew!)) you have to bomb some ships. After this, another canyon (easier) then have a bit of a dogfight and bomb some buildings. Lastly another canyon (the last) to finish. in this last canyon, however, there are ME110 aircraft in front of you firing their rear guns at you. I found this only served to distract my flying trying to shoot them down so, after a few crashes, I didn't bother trying. Hope this helps.
Gun the throttle as much as possible and, through trial and error, grab a good line. With the right line, you should be able to stay at full throttle the entire way to save time. As for the enemy planes that fly ahead of you, if you get a shot take it, otherwise just ignore them.
