You must walk very slowly, just press the joystick once to walk and he will start walking by his self. Once that you are walking super slow put your self in the middle and press O and you will kil both nightwalkers.

The trick is not to try and get past her. Instead, go the opposite direction after shooting the crows and waiting for her to become unaware of you're being there. once you come to the road you want to go straight ahead. From there is relatively simple if you are careful.
