I think you press X and then just take off running.but you cant do spin moves and stiff arms behind the line of scrimmage but as soon as you cross it you can. I hope I helped.

I still say the best defense is a straight up 3-4 man to man... and bring the heat... but make sure every one is man to man and you have quicker linebackers...

If you saved it you should just have to go to the game mode you was playing ( Franchise, Superstar,Etc.....) and instead of clicking new click load and then it should say Memory card 1 and memory card 2(if you have two memory cards) and you click on one of them and find it and then clik on it and it should load. What I would try is to formation sub the defense
for example, pressing down on te d-pad will cause the defense to go into blitz,pressing up on the d-pad will cause the defense to go into pass coverage,pressing right on the d-pad will go into zone coverage, and pressing left on the d pad will go into press defense -Answer by:jman999
If you have a good corner, you can set your strategy up so that he always lines up across from their best receiver, that will limit their passing game, also mix up your blitzing, but you do have to blitz, if you don't QBs will pick you apart. Finally, make sure you have as many d-backs as they have receivers, that's why it tells you how many receivers and rbs they have after they pick their play, if they have 3 receivers, run either a nickel or dime
We mimicked hs stats from Madden 08 whe we "created" him in the create player area. We then placed him on the Jets thru he free agency ara. Upon playing the game, the announcer used his name "Favre" whenever he completed a pass. He threw two TD's

You go to edit player and pick personal info and it says their age and you choose their age but you cant do it in superstar mode or franchise and I dont think you can do it in fantasy mode and you cant make it less than 18 like that person said b4 me

You have to plug either your internet connection or your phone line if you do the phone line your online play will be slow. And once you have do that go to the main screen on madden and choose play online under game modes

Before the season, there is a series of mini camps. you can skip them if you want, and go straight to the season, but if you play through them and get a medal, you will be allowed to either play the next difficulty, or add x amount of attribute points to the player you used. (ex: rookie gold is three points, silver 2, bronze 1, etc.) The number of points earned is directly proportional to the difficulty you complete.
YOu can either do it in mini camp or play them alot and you can even raise them up by going to practice and scoring a lot of points/play and that should raise them up to .
Just play good or even descent with them during the season, especially playoffs, their overall and awareness will go up, for example the runningbacks carrying and awareness will go up, the qbs awareness and accuracy will go up, the linebackers tackling and awareness will go up..... but the other guys are right too with the minicamp

In franchise mode... before the game the "SIM" screen comes up with an option to "train active team for this week", this will allow you to train 3 different players each week, but you only add a +1 every 2-3 weeks per player on any one attribute you want to increase and cannot train that player again after getting any +1.
You can buy yhte madden cards, the only bad thing is that they come at random so you could have to wait a while. I think it's easier just to do the fantasy thing
Once you collect enough money to buy a bunch of packs of cards, create a new profile and save. now you should have 2 (identical)profiles: prof1 & prof2 with roughly 400 pts. each. buy packs and open, sell back everything minus the TEAM cards, you can do this over and over. and once you do that, trade all the TEAM cards that prof2 got to prof1 and youre all set
