You go online and then when it asks you to save the online rosters you say yes and then you exit out of online and check the jets roster and he will be there

The only way you can do that is when you are in your franchise go to player management select the best player at your favorite position and click edit player, information and give that player your name

You go to pratice mode then you click 1 you want and player thent is you play and you get points to help stats on that player the higest inporment points you can get is 7 and that is if you get a gold medal on that partice section!
But isnt it more helpfull to use your assitant coaching points more conservativly and just upgrade your existing players rather than risking it to upgrade a worse player. Even though I always get a gold medal and 7 points on the kick return mini camp drill you are just upgrading someone who sucks

In your franchise go to rosters view rosters then select the player you want and go to edit then change there position to something they would suck at [like brady as RB] and then trade for them. if your trading for a pick trade your best player to the other team for the pick then edit your player change his position and trade him back
Try putting all the guys that u want on ur team before u start franchise trust me i just did it

Actually there is... sort of you can't change what they look like but you can edit player info and attributes

Why cant you hard count on madden 09 on psp or move your defencive line left of right?

You Can Move Your Defensive Line Over By Pressing L and The Direction You Wanna Move At The Sametime. For The Linebackers You Press L & R Plus The Direction You Wanna Move.
I still dont know how to hard count...but to line shift, hold the direction you want to shift (or pinch/spread) and hit the left trigger. LB's are both triggers plus direction.
You can you just press the up button and then the left button up on the top of the psp. Then it should move your defensive line.

GO to game modes and go to franchise. Once youre leaving it asks if you want it saved , saved it
Well first wait for the main screen to load then theres a few options pick game modes in madden 09 theres no season theres a freanchise click you pick how many players there going pick your number then you hit the x button then you pick your team you could have fantasy which is you take tturns pickimg players you whant on your team or regular which are the regular rosters make sure you save and then it wont shut down on you peace
To do a season all you have to do is go to franchise and choose your team and all that crap.then you just go to TRAINING CAMP and press the start button on yo psp and you should get a pop up that says do you want to advance to preseason and just click yes
