How do you edit your player and change his face mask in superstar mode on Madden NFL 09?

Win a lot, in superstar mode with your player, try to make him involved in every play if possible.
You have to finish your first season then you get an upgrade to a new apartment
Finish a year and you get a house finish 2 years and you get a mansion
You will get apartment and then mansion
If you play 2 years you move to the loft. As you pile on awards you move to the Mansion. There is no higher house.
Highlight the play you want and hit the minus ( - ) sign. It will select it, but your oponent won't know it. You can then highlight another play and press enter. They will think the play that you highlighted last is the one you picked.
You highlight the play you want and then press the - button then select a play with the A button. when you line up to play you will bluff the play you selected with the A button and play with the one you selected with the - button
Yes, look in the directions but there is a bluff mode. you hit the minus sign and then A or something like that...
Its Impossible. But you could just edit a QB and name him Micheal Vick and then set attributes. Other than that I don't know what else to tell you

You can't fully edit a player because it won't allow you to change the appearance and some info about the certain player. Otherwise you can change the name, jersey number and set stats.

Swat the ball with the 1 button, still isnt 100%
Use the power takle or hit stik 2.0 by swinging the nunchuk or wii remote but it still doesn't work 100% of the time but it works like 20- 45% of the time
I think the 1 button on your remote is designated to strip the ball
1 button is to strip but you can miss tackles that way. it helps if you swing the remote while doing it.

Instead of looking use all-play that make you atomaticly though where you have the best chance to cacth the ball
I have the same problem, just roll out or use good timing/prediction

I just waited for my team to call a pass play, then went to depth chart & subbed my guy for the primary receiver in the pattern. Doesn't always work, but works a lot.

I would do a franchise and select a crappy team such as the lions or a decent team like the viking and then go with the qb 1rst and then a good dl, then if you just simulate you will get great players automatically

At the end of each season you apply stats.
You just have to be patient, you get better and better every year (I believe). Remember, superstar is basically turning you into a rookie, and it's pretty rare for a rookie to be better than the current starter right at the start unless the starter isn't very good.

You cant. all-play is designed to make it easier. just turn it of off. gameplay is much much better.
To be able to choose the receiver you want to throw to, you can't have all-play on. You can't have all-play AND be able choose the receivers.

You cant change your appearence DURING the season. boot the game up. go to rosters. hit edit player. edit a rookie and make him as good, stylish, and nuber watever you want!

Make sure that all of the opponents games are simulated and then go to weekly schedule(or whatever the thing above team schedule is) and a thing that says "advance, cancel, and player progression" should pop up

It is impossible to fast simulate the rest of the game in Madden 09 for the Wii. I feel your pain and wish I could quickly simulate the rest of the game
Quit the game then simmultate it
You can't exactly simulate the rest of the game, but what you can do is set the quarters to shorter lengths so you can finish the game in the time that it takes to play two 5 minute quarters
When you start the game, go into Total Control Simulation instead of playing the game. When TCS starts, press the + button and select Go Into The Game. Play in the game, and when you are done, Quit and go back to TCS. In TCS click on the + button and select Finish, and it will play out the rest of the game.
First of all, you don't want to play if you play only 1 half, or even just a quarter. Play the full game, I mean, you can make them 20 minutes long because of 5 min quarters if you want to.
