How can I finish the mssion where ewan repairs the helicopter?

A1:

Defend and shoot the enemies(to easy use left button to look enemies)

A2:

You have to bring him to his helicopter,then he will start his repairs,you need to take out all the venezuelans that try to kill him.Plus there are boxes scattered around the helicopter,you need to pick them up and if you get all 9 of the boxes you will be rewarded.Then when you are in the helicopter,you need to defend it from enemy fire,then he will stop and land at the home base,now you have a helicopter pilet.

A3:

Bring ewan close to the heli but not yet into the green circle. put him to stay. after that do almost the whole route of the heli(the part he flys over the mountain isn't neccesary)

on that route you find all the enemies with rpg and such. kill them all.
now you do the 3 minutes of repairing and you go flying .

only the part with the mountain is the shooting part which isn't too hard to do without damage.

U put on the infinite health cheat(up,down,up,down,left,right,left,right)and then when you get in the helicopter it will be invincible to

Use the health cheat and the ammo.because the health cheat stop the copter from going down and the ammo keep the gun from running out

Keep the attacking enemies off ewans back until he finishes repairs on the helicopter, then get in the gunner seat , destroy enemies on the ground to keep the copters life above zero.

Go to the place where he repairs it.. wait 3 minutes. then kill of resistance

You put in the infinite health cheat when your inside the helicopter

You tell Ewan to wait at the base, and then you destroy all the veichles, and soilders that try to destroy the copter. It takes a long time to destroy them all but when you get him and he repairs the copter and then you fly in it all the things that shoot at you are destroyed.

Start the mission. Then just leave him there and go destroy all the cars and tanks before getting into the helicopter. That way when you're actually in the helicopter, you won't have that many enemies to fight off. Way easier...

A11:

If got a good idea just put ewan on stay here before the yellow circle, then look for the boxes and move them to the into the yellow circle then make ewan follow you into the circle then you quickly get the boxes then your ready to shoot the attacking troop then get into the helicoptor and then put the ammo cheat on then continuously shoot

How do you get passed the side mission wher you gotta defend the oil barrels?

A1:

I tought this, accept the mission, then cancelit. Go to where they were located and if they're still there bash them into the garage next to them.

A2:

Never mind, don't do it. After a while the barrels will blow up.

A3:

Put a tank in front of them then use the the tank machine gun to kill the vz troops. the tank blocks their bullets

A4:

Ok all you have to do is get in a VZ brigante so you become disguised as a VZ. then drive nice and slowly into the garage next to the oil barrels and wait until the defending time is over, then you should complete the mission without having to do anything because the VZs won't shoot at it. please try this it works trust me, I hope I helped.

Every time I try to use an airstrike in the PS2 version it says jet pilot needed, it's the same thing for deliveries except I need a helicopter pilot...when do I get those? all I have so far are bunker buster and cluster bomb for airstrikes.

A1:

If you mean when you first attack the huge bunker, then heres what you do. if you got to the bunker you probally saw a helicopter. dont use it yet. when you here that she ie being attacked get to the helicopter and get over there as fast as you can. even though your in a helicopter, its still gonna be a long ride. when you get to hq you will see tanks, trucks and tangos. especiall aa vehicles so watch out. kill everyone. you will find someone with high value. you have the choice to kil or extract him from your base.

If you mean when you attack solono's bunker take a helicopter and clear all vehicles out then aa vehicles then designate his bunker after that run to the helicopter "without stopping for anything" and if you know all of the cheats,you can head strait towards it"ingoring all aa guns and when you arrive kill all the infantry and do not destroy any vehicles because they will be useful later on.when you nuke the bunker run like crazy to your helicopter before the blast blows it up and after that if you exzamin his bunker you will notice that it did not do much damage at all

Make sure you have eva first, during the oil rig mission there will be a gunship attacking you. hijack it and get it back to HQ and use your bout if you have one. or another copter. then when you start the bunker mission use that as your disguise to get there and out. WARNING: stay grounded for a few seconds, so AA does not shoot you down

Yesah, do the helicopter thing, and fly high and fast, unless using hp cheat. Also, when you get back to home base, don't destroy all the tanks, just hijack and ditch. After you're done with the mission, most if not all tanks should still be there, but you'll have to go about halfway to that city in the north, then turn around.
