Borderlands
The "CANAL" vent is not at the marker location. If you have noticed by now, some of the markers don't give exact locations. It is in the sewer/reservoir like area (i believe it might be east of the marker, not exact). It is very close to the caged claptrap in Old Haven.
Follow the black smoke you will find it! ^^
Look for the black smoke on the horizon. That will lead you right to them.
Try to get on an apartment building. Then just look around and u'll see smoke in 4 places then just follow the smoke one by one and u'll get them all :D
I think the problem is that, on some missions where you need to find/do multiple things, the way point shown will just be for the general area of the quest, while other times it will lead you directly to one of the things you're trying to find/do. I remember that this mission is the first type I just described, so don't pay attention to the way point and look for the smoke.
That smoke vent isn`t there, it`s in the right side of the map. If you can`t find it- go around the map close to the wall`s- you will find it
There are 4 of them. The marker only tells you that you are in the right map. Other ones are like the gun parts that only tells you that you are in the right area of a map. -Answer by:zulupits

I'm trying to do the "Relight the Beacons" quest however the 2 bridges are not down and the one claptrap says to me when I go to it "sorry for your safety this bridge is not available" or something to that effect, I have lit the one beacon but I cant cross either bridge for the next one, what do I do?

To get this mission completed, and to be able to cross and do other missions in the area, a few other missions have to be done in order to do so. I believe that they are part of the main story line so if you do those you should be good. Keep doing quests you can without crossing that bridge until you get one of the people to say via voice that you have Class A clearance now.
I just checked, and the quest you have to have done is "The Next Piece", given by Crazy Earl. Once it is complete, you should receive "Jaynistown: Secret Rendezvous" and be granted the clearance to cross the bridge. Talk to the claptrap once you have that quest.

You free him at a higher level mission. I can't remember what level you have to be at, but the mission isn't difficult. hope it helps.
When you hit the wall get out and walk to the right there will be a big opening in the wall
Don`t jump with monster truck- down there is a car post take there small vechile! that`s all the problem!
You need to spawn a racer for the prison car jumps.

There is a hole cut out of a rock behind a ramp, jump the ramp, land on the road behind, follow the road then jump moxxi's husbands old house into the prison. if you don't make it past the wall, don't worry there is and opening in it if you continue along the ledge

For the PC ... It should be located in C:\Users\*USERNAMEHERE*\Documents\My Games\Borderlands\SaveData. It should be like Save0001.sav. Hope that helps.

If it is the one on the mountian no you dont go up there the orange claptrap got gunned down talk with it and find da repair kit and talk to him again EASY
Level 2? you really need to be more specific, what map name. in Fyrestone I know that there is a Green Claptrap in the town that is completely useless. he is hard to find and even harder to get to. if you are referring to any of the "Downed" Claptraps you need to find a repair kit to fix them. and if you are referring to any others please be more specific.
