When you are in the face off circle you hold the B button
which will make your guy move his stick into better position
then right when the ref drops the puck shake the wii remote back and forth

If you hold DOWN b it will shoot the puck upon possession. Instead tap the b button repeatedly while shaking the remote,do nothing with the nunchuk until you win the faceoff. if you start to tap and shake too early you will be waived out of the faceoff circle!
I acctually found it better not to hold down B. Just shake the wii remote up and down.
You hold down c,z,b, and a and shake the wii mote and nunchuck.
Just shake the wii remote from side to side quickly. Stop shaking right after the puck drop or the movement will make your player shoot. Also holding B will get your player ready for the face off and if you use the nunchuk joystick you can actually aim where you want the puck to go. I'm 98% faceoff, with hundreds of games. I usually just shake without holding B.

You just go to the options in the menu then go to controller options and press that. That is when you press 1 you will have the option to be a goalie, center, LW, RW, LD or RD for the whole game.

Yes you can do a playoff without going through whole season but the way to do that is you only can come in 1-8 in the standings but if you come in 9-15 you're going to not play in the playoffs. I simulated some games and I did not play every game of season and I got 142 points in the season and I came in first place and played in the playoffs!

When you start fighting start out with jabs like not power punches then when he starts to stumble hold b and do big punches
The way to win a fight tilt the numchuk back and forth and hond B and puch with the wii remote-DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK SO DONT GET MAD AT ME but that s how I win a fight or make a player and do this
Hold the B button and punch with the wiimote while keeping your balance with the nunchuck. If you hold the B button your punches should be stronger and more effective than the other guy.
Hold the nunchuk as straight as you can keep the balance and your hit land better if you notice it going side to side you gotta get it to stay in the middle and also holding b allows for stronger punches
Put nunchuck in betwene 2 pillows in the couch and it will be super stright so now all you have to do is punch

Well, you can't exactly use the logo but take all your players on the team from the NHL team, then chose which NHL team logo you like the best , erase all the players from the team, and then sign the free agents to the team then start season. I know it takes a lot of work but it's worth it

What you do is at the beginning you can change it or go to options there you go
No the game isnt actually 20 minutes per period, but it will always say there is 20 minutes per period. but when you put in that you want 5 min. periods, the clock will tick much much faster than actual time.
The clock moves at a five-minute pace, not realy 20 min
It always will say 20 minutes but the time goes faster when you set it to 5 or 10 minutes.
It will always say it's twenty minutes, the seconds just get shorter.
It just says that it is 20 minutes long, if the setting is 5minutes then the clock goes 4x faster and if it is 10 minutes then it goes 2x faster. I know its dumb but thats how it works.
They are automaticly 20:00 but the less time you save them on they just go faster.If this doesn't work go to My Nhl, or Gameplay and change it there.If none of this works, than your game is screwed up because this what I do on my game.

Dissconnect the numchuck 1 to go foword 2 to go backwards but it dosnt clean the ice going backwards and tilt the wii romote to steer.
The 1 button is accelerate, 2 is brake, hold if you want reverse. For the Wii hold it sideways, so the numbers '1' and '2' are on the right side, and the control pad is on the left. Turn side-to-side to steer. To start, at the intermission press the '-' key. TIP!
