It's just a case of perfecting your style then ploughing the heck out of your opponents. I had so much trouble with this match but the only reason I won was because I was mad and I knew what I was doing. If it makes it easier, go for the submissions
What I did was just go out the ring and make sure tomko didnt get in the ring

You can get curry man to play as by getting him off download able content
The easy way is to verse someone in a normal match and beat him up using moves and finishers. Tip-You Will get lots of style points by doing this a lot in one match
When your opponent is on the ground and you have a full iMPACT bar, stand by their head, hold the strong modifier, and press Y. Once you have them in the upright position, press B.
Pick them up then using y then get them into the ref hold then press the L trigger and b at the same time

You have to press rb as soon as he does his move.
When they are going for a move it will show a button at your name a your press it when it appers press it a 2 or 3 times quickly. thats what I do for the xbox 360 hope I helped

Well its not necessarily luck, just see what moves your opponent does when facing you, look up at your HUD and see when it says press RB. Really, the trick is to press RB just before it shows up

No that has nothing to do with it. If you are saying that when you go to story mode it makes you create a player, don't worry about just create him. but you have to play story mode with him and after you do the basics go to the picture of a head and you can add hair cloths etc. hope I helped

The easiest way would be to use the chairs at the start of the match and Flog him over the head with them till you were him down a bit then rush him worked for me on the 3rd try. -Answer by:saint 1995
Keep doing moves to his arm then when his arm limb damage is red go for the arm submission
Throw him out of the ring hit him with all the chairs run and dropkick him a couple of times then throw him in the ring and do a finisher
