Are you a herbivore or carnivore?
I feel your pain. i'm 12 and I didn't get far in Tribe. then I decided to do the following:
Get some food
Buy lots of weapons in the Tribal Planner
DESTROY EVERY TRIBE ON THE CONTINENT
makes things a lot easier

I think it's easyer to ally other tribes, instead killing them...
allied tribes sometimes gives you gifts (food)...

Hey im 11 to and I dont mean to brag but I just started a couple of days ago and im already in the space stage with all badges (promotions) plenty of regular badges. and normaly Ilike to ally people. pretty easy if you ask me
Im 12 and im in space stage now . if you ally the FIRST other tribe , and then get as much food as you can , build wepons and attack ALL of the other tribes as SOON AS THEY APPEAR.
I'm 12 and I got 1/3 of my creatures to hold digeridoos, another third to hold maracas and the other third to hold wooden horns. if you dont have what the other creatures say to do just do something else. hope it helps :)
What i do is i ...go fishing! then i by weapons etc. to beat it!
1.Get clothes in the hut with the tribal planner that have gather and some that have social. 2.gather food with all tribe members. 3.Keep buying all instruments until there are no more to buy. (if 1 instrument then have 2 tribe members with instrument -if 2 instruments have 4 tribe members have 2 held by each one - if 3 instruments have tribe 6 tribe members have 2 held by each on) (Cheiftain is not a tribe member) 4.go to tribes with all your tribe members (and cheiftain to conduct band). keep this to finish it easier then a killing tribe. I'm in space stage from cell stage right now. P.S if you have a social tribe you'll get gifts from allied tribes but, to get a tribe that dislikes your tribe or is your sworn enemy, Click on their hut or food part to bring them gifts, and I would reccomend having at least 1 tribe member with a stone axe or spears to scare of animals that will steal your food. If your a heribore:Ally with the rest,DO NOT KILL.And buy friendly stuff.If the other tribe likes all of the music stuff,just get a full army,pick some hollding some and some holding the other.
Omnivor:If you are an omnivor you first make allys then conquer the other tribe then the last tribe standing,make an ally,simple.
Carnivor:First get some weopens then leave one alone so that he can kill the one who is stealing the food.Conquer the other tribe and you are done(it may not be easy you may lose alot of members of your tribe!)

U buy a monolith and place on the planet that you want to make a tribe on and than wait a bit. after a few minutes a message will come up saying that life on the planet soandso has evoled into tribal stage. life will continue to evolve to sapce stage

U need a monolith and a planet with only creatures and trees, beam a monolith as close 2 a creature as possible and walla they will soon start to evolve, it would be a good idea 2 remember what planet it was, they eventualy get 2 space, you can easily ally them because you helped them evolve
You can just capture the citi with warior specealization and Whoala! Tha citi is military while the old one is Still religion!

There are 2 ways to do this 1. start a new game on that stage (if unlocked). AND IT DOESNT RANDOMLY PICK A STYLE (millitary,economic,religious) FOR YOU! 2. you could just restart the game on another planet. FYI:(for your information) what you do in the cell stage pretty much predicts what youll be in all the other stages.

Open the cheat menu with ctrl, shift, and c at the same time, then enter setConsequenceTrait civ_economic or setConsequenceTrait civ_ military and viola!
You press Ctrl+Shift+C and then type either civ_economic or civ_military. Thats it.:)
You can destroy an tribe and you will get a present like vehicle,money and other.

Bring someone from your own nest, they will make it easyer to befriend others and they are easy to add to your pack beacause you will have the same abilities as them. also try to cheak their abilities, try to befriend the ones with the lowest stats first because they will bw easy.

One more thing I forgot, if you put the same parts on them over and over the stats wont go up.
Focus on making strong createres and befriend your own species
If you have enuf food give them a gift or try really hard to impress them
OK basically if your in tribal stage equip them with instruments and send all but 1 of your tribe to go befriend them. Or if your in creature stage I suggest you get some hands that give you a high pose skill then get feet that give best dance skill and mouth with best sing and finally a item that gives you charm. I I got 20 attack and 18 social for my character. (i unlocked all parts) So Basically try and get the parts that give you lots of social.
Also I found out depending on the part your using is the part your more likely to find a better version of. So put 3 mouths on and see which one is giving you best bonus.

I do. I save the game every time I get to a planet, get a new mission, ect. so when it crashes your fairly close to where you were.

Some empires cannot become happy with you because A) you have done something to upset them forever or B) it is not in their nature to be friendly at all, those empires do exist. kill them. I would recomend planet busster or anti matter bombs or my favorite gravitational wave.
You mean The Grox? They Are automatically hostile and hard to ally with. But, allying with them will make all other empires go to war with you.

Acually you can chose what creature you want to be if you start at space stage and when you do type in grox in the creture search bar and find the grox you want. (There are several different grox in it so chose wisley).

I can't open the Spore cheat menu. In space stage I pressed, and held shift+control+c. Nothing happens. I tap them at once and it just takes a picture. How do I open it?

i think CTRL+c takes a picture so that's why your getting a picture but try doing this.
On the left side of your keyboard go slowly so hold CTRL first then hold SHIFT then hold C then let go.

No, but your clothes can boost your social skills.
If you have any social skill from creature stage it will help a little. After performing don't touch thing and wait the bar will keep gong up.
Actualy you can only play musical instruments.You only dance in creature mode.

No you dont need dance to dance round the fire I did it whith my first spore creacher and he didnt have dance and he could dance around the fire so you stand corrected A5:)

If you buy spore galactic adventures you can go to the planet but you need to complete missions after the mission youre back in your back in the space. so you cant run free arround !

Did you click on a tribe member to perform? You have to click on one then the bar will appear and you can do whatever. idk. And get all the instruments because they sometimes request a flute and you may not have it and you need to buy it from the shop. idk idk...

OK basically this is how you do it. You select all tribe member with instrument.
Then you right click on any of the other tribe your trying to perform to.
The symbols of the instrument they want you to play will come up every 3-7 seconds.
You click on the instrument in the social bar as it appears above the other tribes heads.

If you really want to be bard then use the cheat menu. Ctrl+Shift+C and then type in Setconsequencetrait space_bard.
I think you have to start Civ (the city one) and be Religous and finish Civ like that.

When you finish a stage, see how you get a coloured card? Well, you need one red, one green, and two blue. Say, herbivore-adaptable-industrious-military. You can always look it up on the spore wiki.

Its a pretty graphics heavy game, perhaps you don't have enough virtual memory or your graphics card isn't good enough to handle the game. Try doing some general maintenance like defragging the hard drive, doing a virus and spyware check and drive clean-up. Keep using Planet Buster on them. They see it as a sign of strength. Then you can befriend the Grox. But all species will declare war on you.
Seriously does planet buster really make them friends cuz blowing the heck out of them doesn't really seem to make them happy its makes them kill you much easyer to keep on useing planet buster an take them alll down -Answer by:cute mew
Well there are many ways to befriend them first give them a gift then do missions and then try to break the galactic code the you can do anything else from there that WONT make them angry or get a lower friendship

Give them a gift, like 1,000,000sporebucks and blow up the planets that are close to Grox planets.
It's okay.... to be friends with grox .... when the galaxy hate you you can still be friend with them even ally...... just bribe them.... I did that in the hard mode on spore...... I have Grox and 4 other empires as my ally...... so just ally the Grox it's fine(as long as you have a lot of money)
P.S First when you want to be allies with grox turn off your auto blaster it will destroy the grox ship and they hate it(P.S.S they still shoot at you until you have ally with them)(dont go to far in their territory first because they will suddenly think that you are an enemy and you will fail to ally them..... second do their missions(max points 50) and give gifts very often.... planet bust other planet around the grox territory they love it.... and last use some friendly stuff like happy ray or fireworks or even pun an embassy..... and by doing that you should already be friends with the grox.....(P.S.S.S you can't make their "we distrust strangers -15" disappear) after that you get a peaceful ride to the center of the galaxy...
