You must buy a high chair, changing table and bed before they come. You need to take the first babysitting test as well. When you a phone ringing (Not really a phone) there is a customer at your door.

You earn money by babysitting and taking tests. In the beginning of the game you start out with $700 and you have to check your emails on the computer. To read them click on 1 New Message, but you first have to click on Menu once you click on the computer. Hope this helps.

I had the same prob at first but they did eventually come, if you hear a sound like a phone ringing it's actually the doorbell, and there's a parent at the front door with a baby. Hope this helps.
Also, what was confusing my kid was that the babysitter is on military time... if you try to make the babysitter go to bed any earlier than 9pm (22:00) she will just take like a 20 minute nap and it is NOT the next day... that's why no babies/kids came because it was still the same day!

Sometimes they are mixed together with the furniture and other stuff, I keep on turning the camera til I get a different angle or view on the baby and then you can usually just pick them back up, watch out for that swing out back because you can really get them stuck out there, most of the time you cant even pick them back up and the parents come and are really angry, so just be careful where you put them and I hope this helps
