The rights to the Whalers' logo are owned by the city of Hartford, not the Hurricanes or the NHL. Either Hartford didn't want to allow the use of the logo, or EA didn't want to go through the hassle of getting permission just for an alternate jersey.

Uh I think you go to like my NHL or somthing off the main menue then you go down to enter code and it should let you do it fine.

When I choose my eter nhl 09 cheat code it comes up as a message saying you nhl 09 alternate jersies have ben unlocked...but I have never put a code in...any help?

Answer number one is correct no lies every teams alternate jersey is unlocked with this code: xe6377uyrwm48frf Every team that has an alternate jersey will unlock with this! Minnesota does not have an alternate cause they are such a young team some other teams may not have another jersey.

I was traded after my first year, you should've signed a new contract by now. Wait till the end of the year and become a free agent and sign with another team, because that one isn't working out for you.
Practice your goalie more and attend more team practices...lol

Go to nhl pro and pick your fav goalie or else stay in AHL hope I helped
If you want you can make a player under my nhl 09, then go to player movement, move the player fom free agency to whatever team you want, then go to be a pro nhl (using existing nhl players) chose the team and player, the advantage is that you can chose your players stats, making them as good or bad as you want, and you start in the nhl
As a goalie I got called up after 9 games in the AHL. I didn't have all that many shutouts, maybe 2, but I had a 92 percent save rating. The only thing is, I only got called up because my team traded me to SJ, and they're the ones who called me up. Then I got a shutout against the NHL team that traded me to SJ.
Thats crazy cause I got called up after the second game that I played in the ahl, it just depends on the team maybe.
Play shoot outs more often. It helps you on both sides of the puck (offence and defense), and it takes less time then playing a game. Try to keep your goalie with at least a skate in the blue ice and cut down the shooters angles. If you can learn to make the shooter go where you want by cutting angles in shoot out mode you will have better grades in your games. worked for me. -Answer by:realrossi88

What you do is go and cry to the ref after every play or every time someone touches you. I forget what button that is though

You can't do the crosby because you would need way more butons on your controler to do that jope I helped

Check your goals for the season, start doing those very quickly and keep scoring. Positioning is really important too. Just keep playing and youll get called up
I'd say get an "A" average as well. It took me about 26 games in the AHL before I got called up. At that point I had 63 goals and like 40 assists. Just follow the arrows as best as you can and start trying to learn and anticipate where you need to be on the ice.
Dont worry it toook me a while too just dont give up you need an A average.

It took me 18 games to get called up from the Moose to the Canucks, and now I've been with the Canucks for 5 games and counting. All it took was good positioning and scoring goals, not necessarily A averages for everything.
Score a goal or keep pounding the puck at the net will get your stats score up, watch you shift times and change at when your team is moving up the ice this will help your team score. and positioning is pretty straight forward. keep your stats in the A's and your golden after 5 games your up to second line 4 games later first line 3 games later your brought up 12 games in the AHL my buddy did it in 11 . Stats and keep your +/- soaring.
Ya man. it only took me 16 games and I had 40 points by then. you just gotta control your shifts, reach your goals and worry about the team rather than urself. youll be there, dont worry. just like in real hockey

Its your play. they are reacting to and creating plays faster and your players look slower as a result. Some games I dominate. if the other guy is much better then I can't keep up.
When your are going down the ice push the left stick forward and barely tap RB if you do it right the player will push the puck and sprint just be careful because it can cause a lot of turnovers because you push the puck out pretty far.i would recommend that you go down the boards and sprint then do a deke around the defensemen and go down the boards and set someone up in front of the net to screen the goalie or to go for the one-timer. -Answer by:Lightningfan54
No go to be a pro mode and play a hole season or 2 and boost your players stats!
There are various offensive and defensive strategies your team can follow and the speed of your players will depend on the strategy. The players will breakout quicker for example if you choose the All Out Attack or Aggressive Strategies. They do break out quicker the downside of course is the defense they fail to provide if they rushing to move up ice. It creates a bigger gap between offensive and defensive lines which makes it easier to intercept passes in the neutral zone. Cater your strategy to what is happening on the ice.

NO... They are faster then you. THey are using the 99 glitch which allows them to put their pros attributes at a 99 while yours is somewhere in the 80s. GAME IS A JOKE!
