When you have enough life time happines points I think its 5,000-to 10,000 there's rewards you can purchase. There's one called fertillity treatment. Which helps your chances of having twins/tripletts and it does help even more when both sims who are trying to have the baby have this reward. works everytime!

Get the fertility treatment but 3 babies are really hard to take care of!
Just get both of your sims the fertility treatment ( lifetime happiness rewards) ive had 3 sets of twins and 2 sets of triplets, worked for me
Listen to a lot of music from the kids station and watch the kids tv channel. This seriously helps even more than the fertility treatment award. It works almost every time for me. Do both tv-kids and radio-kids for an increased chance.
I got to to eat 3 of the fruit depending on if you want a boy or girl

When I had my first set of triplets, I bought the fertility treatment, ate 3 apples, (I had boys! Eat three watermelon to increase your chances of girls) then bought and read both baby books while listening to the kids station on the radio and watching the kids station on the TV. It worked the first time for me. I'm trying this time without my fertility treatment, so we'll see if that works. Good luck!

When you Get enough lifetime points you can buy it but I suggest you don't get triplets because they cry all the time and won't let your sim get to eat,sleep,relax or anything else!
You can listen to kids music on the stereo and watch children TV (Hope this helped because it worked for me!) :)

Getting triplets takes some time but here is how

If both parents have the increased fertility reward you usually have triplets
If you have fruit in your invetory or collect seeds you can plant them and they will gain gardening skills.
You need to buy and read the first level of Gardening, so you can have seeds in your inventory, select one clicking on it and pick "plant". Then choose a place in your garden.
To gain the gardening skill read the book. If you just want to garden, you're going to have to buy seeds at the supermarket, and then you can plant them. After that you can water them, fertilize, tend & etc.
You need either a seed or the harvested fruit of whatever you would like to grow. When you click on them in your Sim's inventory, it should allow you the option of "Plant." If not, try having your Sim pick up a book on Gardening (you can get all three volumes at the bookstore) and gaining a skill point in Gardening.
Start out by reading Gardening books
The gardening skill can be reached by reading or taking the class at the Lab or the supermarket. Then buy seeds at the supermarket or around the parks and green areas throughout the town or you can just open the fridge and click on the fruit or veggie you would like to grow and select the plan option then select the area you want to grow them. After that you can water them, fertilize, tend & etc. FYI.. if you place a sprinkler in the middle of your plants you dont have to worry about the plants drying while you are away from your garden. Once you harvest you can go to your supermarket and sell them. Also keep in mind that depending there are limitations on the the fruits or veggies you can plant due to your skill. Good hobby for your Sims when they retiered and make simoleons.
Buy fruits and vegetables like lettuce and tomoatoes. Then in your inventory, click it and then itll say plant. Then, click that. Also, you should read gardening books.
All this advice is good, but, take a gardening class too. Too easily keep your plants watered without going out there all the time and doing it. Buy some sprinklers and plants them around your garden plants. Upgrade them to "auto water". Also, harvest wild plants and hunt for seeds. When you move your sims, they lose everything. if you have kids, try saving and then moving, that usually works
I had the same problem actually. But what I didn't notice is that, when you evict a family from the house, the family will appear in the top, left-hand corner of the screen. All you have to do is click on them and it will say something like "place copy", then move them wherever you want to! : )
When you evict them it puts them into thier primary form try moving them out next time!
You have to get a computer and go to it and click"move" then you just follow the instructions.

Man, that's exactly what I came here looking for.
There is a long winded way you learn fishing to level 10 and gardening to around level 10 to obtain life fruit and death fish then learn cooking to level 10 to make ambrosia this will lower your age but will take a while so make sure to turn ageing off while you learn these skills
Unfortunately, there's not. Believe me, I looked. My trick is to have them eat dozens of life fruit. Having your sim learn cooking, gardening and fishing skills up to 10 is a very long process. Simply press shift+ctrl+c for the cheat window to come up. Type in buy debug and then enter buy mode. There will be a special icon that you can click on. This special mode allows you to "buy" certain plants, fish spawners and seed spawners. Everything is free. I just plant several life fruit plants and have my Sim harvest them. If you don't get a life fruit plant that has any fruit on it, simply click on the icon again until you have on that is ready to harvest. It takes your Sim a few hours to pick them all, but it is faster than the other way. Just make sure to keep adjusting your Sim's hunger levels down so that they don't get full and gain weight (testingcheatsenabled true).
Try disabling the aging option in Option tab. I prefer to decided when my SIM age. So, if I want them to move on to the next age, just go buy a cake at the grocery store and have the SIM blow it out. They'll age to the next level.

That happened to me but they were married and they moved during the pregnacy...... and its probably because they didnt live in the same place, its effed up cuz it happened to me 3 times
I had my sim get pregnant with another man and after the birth they didn't get married but in the family tree the baby's father was there.....
I have a weird one... It was a male SIM. He was single and living with his sister when I played him. The next time I came back to play the household, voila!, he has a daughter! After playing for a while and adding two more SIMs to that household, I lost the baby when I came back to play again. No idea where the baby has gone. :-(
I had my two SIMs got involved and "try for a baby". The female SIM got pregnant but I didn't play them but played other households I created. When I came back to play her again, she had already given birth to a baby boy. I made her fiance marry her and got her to move in with him. He became the baby's father straight away.
That is because theire in the same city,when you play other households IN the same city everion ages and gives birth no mather that you didn't play them.I learned this the hard way. (my SIM died while I played a nother household)
P.C:I would recommend using the death flower to stay on the Earth as a SIM because when it time to die the Grim Reaper takes the flower instead of you...So good luck with that ETERNAL thing all

It probably ends up being far from the curb because the lot is bigger than the house, so the house is placed in the centre of the lot.
You can't make a lot bigger, you have to move, use it by computer or cell in the game to move, then you can get a bigger lot, the biggest one is 60 by 60 -Answer by:Threeamigeo

You can Im not sure if you need the expansion pack but there should be a button on the left side of the bulldozer. Its a square with a pen on it its the world editor. It allows you to choose lot size.

You can scroll with the arrow keys or go to the game options and enable "Edge Scrolling": then you can scroll by scrolling your mouse to the side. You can also scroll by right-clicking on the place where you want the camera to be on
Your cell phone has the option to Move, and so does your computer.
You can go on your cell phone and click move then click on each family member you want to add then press find house they will let you find a house of how much money you have, and if you dont have enought press-shift,ctrl,and c the type in kaching or motherlode. Motherlode is 50,000 and kaching is 1,000. If you cant find your phone under the invertory your game has a glich, if this happens buy a house phone in buy mode then you can press move and follow all these steps

First, if you don't have a phone in your house buy one. When you have one, click on it and select the 'Move' option. Then, it will come up with an options screen for moving, on the bottom left hand corner will be two options: Pack furniture and Sell Furniture. Choose one and then above it will be options for who you want to move to your new home, on the left will be people living in your current house, the right will be the people living in your new house the arrows in the middile will switch them. In the bottom right hand corner will be two other options, 'House' and 'Empty Lot' select the 'House' option and choose where you want to live!

I've found lot os seeds roaming the Graveyard and around the Science Lab. You can also buy and plant seeds.
Walk around the neighborhood, you'll find some. There's good ones around the grave yard and a bunch up in the hills

with 40,000 lietime happiness you can get the collection helper which enables you to see where seeds ar ewhen in map view

You can get a fruit or vegetable and plant it in the ground.
Another good place to get lots of vegitable and fruit seeds is in and around the parks.
Go to parks and other comminity areas
If you have enough Lifetime Happiness points you can get the Collection Helper.
If you go to different community lots and look around your sure to find one.

Go in cheat mode "Control - Shift - C" and type "testingCheatsenabled true" then open cheat mode again and enter "buyDebug on" go in Buy Mode then select "sort by function" click "Debug" and go to seed/plant section and buy a Seed spawner and place it on your lot. Hope that helps
You have change the active family in the neighborhood mode
I have the same problem, but I think to be able to play with her, you have to make her the "active household". Go to "options", then 'edit town". It should be there.
No if you wanted to play with her in stead of the other people in the family when she moved out you should of selected make active household
I think this is one of the more annoying features of Sims 3! You can only play one active household per town. I miss being able to control multiple households in the neighborhood and having the option to make them interact and marry.

You can always ask that sim to move back in with your family.
I had the same problem. I started messing around and found out that you have to go to options then edit town and then change active household. You can switch the active households if you want to play with the old family
If you wanna play with her then go to edit town on the left bottom screen and then press change active household and then you can change your household or make a new one as you please!

You have to go the cemetry and fish were there is a sign that says no fishing. And do it a night time.
You have to be skilled enough to get one. Besides this fact heres something that helps. Click on the bodies of water where you want to fish to inspect the water and this will tell you which fish are there at that time, it may change later, and if its a good place right then or not. Sooner or later you will find the right fish in the right place at the right time. Deathfish are at the cemetery pond.
U have 2 fish at cemeatary pond btween midnight and 1 AM
Level up on your fishing skills (level 9 or 10 will do) then go to the cemetery between 12 to 4am..
You have to have a really high fishing skill either 9 or 10(10 is better)..and if you have some angel fish it increases your chances of getting one and there at the graveyard
You can catch them at the cemetery at night, for the exact spot click on the smoke cloud over the water

Before you become lovers become good friends then chose the option move in. when your lovers you cant move in together. or you can go to edit town and merge the households together.

Buy a house (cheap preferibly) when you are outside the house type MOTHERLODE or KACHING in to the cheat box until you get enough money to buy your house then you go in to your inventoy and click on your sim phone there will be an option to MOVE you just click on that and you will have enough money to buy the house you wanted and BOBS YOUR UNCLE! hope I helped =) -Answer by:horsestachio

I would try clicking on the cribs mattress. I think it will say put mary or whatever here. I may also try hiring a babysitter and wait for them to put the baby in the crib.
You could try deleting the crib
You can try the cheat....(moveobjects on) this enables you to move ANY object on your lot and move the baby to the crib and then see if you can interact with it then
Reset the baby
Maybe you should buy a crib FIRST before the baby gets home!
Maybe there's not enough space for you to stand and put on the baby.. try putting the crib in an open space.. if it works.. then that's your problem that you dont have enough space :))

Create your own SIMs and have them marry each other. You can strategise to have them meet at the park or move them in together before creating romance until they marry. Works all the time for me.

You can only cook Ambrosia as a Dinner Meal, and only for one Sim...There's no family meal for Ambrosia.
Im having the same problem. they can only make it once? ambrosia? im dumb founded about it. why cant she make it more often? I seen where it changed her age. does she have to age up again? we keep the ingredients in the fridge.
You can make Ambrosia at any time of day provided you have a life fruit and death fish, doesn't have to be of a particular quality, and level 10 cookery skill, however you can only make a single portion not a group meal, so just select have breakfast, lunch, dinner not serve ... and the option to make Ambrosia will come up.
Actually you can cook it anytime of the day....just as a one person serving though.
This didnt happen to me when I made it, it let me cook it a breakfast
Ok My Sim has level 10 in cooking and knows how to make Ambroisa its only a single person meal and can be made for any time period of the day or night.And No its doesnt have to be at a certain quality.BTW Its back ages sims ecept you cant make an Elder into a Adult Again.Hope this helps!PS: Im an Expert at the sims D

If you want triplets and dont have enough life time rewards points open the cheat box (Ctrl Shift C) click the lifetime rewards thingy and hold Ctrl and click around the tresure chest until your sims lifetime rewards points go up and get the fertility treatment for both parents get your sim pregnant (make sure the parents relationships are good) eat 3 apples for 3 boys and eat 3 watermelon for 3 girls! There is not an actual cheat, but if you have enough lifetime reward points, click on the the actual rewards and then between 10.000 and 15.000 you will find " fertility treatments", have both yours sims have that treatment, and then let them " Woohoo" and hopefully you will have triplets, good luck...

If she is refusing "have a babby" she or he might be overworked. It also take several times in a row to do the trick. Some times there is a baby on the way without the babby chime. If she thows up after awhile she is pregnant. -Answer by:shermda
How old is your sim ? if they are nearly turning toold like ELDERLY I dont think they can have babies anymore =/
It depends on both moodlets if one of them is fatigued or hungry and so on it will affect the choices you have also the tme of day will aswell I was about to have my sim propose at sunset but just as I was about to click it the option went away same with erly in the morning or late at night so try morning just after the sun has risen. hope this helps :) -Answer by:the tester

You can always have a flirty sim and they are then able to have the oppritunity to massage and etc..... they are the ones that are able to have the most romance.
The options come and go throughout the conversations and interactions. For example, I have had a sim able to propose but I chose Kiss first. My Sims have had triplets...they carry what they can and the other babies go into a basket baby carrier
If you become friends with a dr you can ask them... the sign will appear above the dr's head
My sim had twins and since she was a single parent this baby sitter carried the other baby and then stayed at my house and helped out until I told him to leave.

Just download a lot of stuff. All you have to do is click "add to game" on the exchange then when it downloads to the first window just check all the ones you just downloaded and click "install", simple as that...

Yes, but it randomly happens. Like if your girl Sim goes into a communtiy lot eventually your other sim will appear. I don't know how to "make" that happen though.

This is annoying but you have to randomly meet, or visit thier home via town view & knock. Then develope your relationship. You also can change the active household so you can play that person so they can visit your home, it helps the relationship build..

I think you can also call the other sim on the phone. there's an option there saying, "chat", "invite over", and "invite out" (or something like that..) choose the last one and it'll let you pick a community lot to where they'll meet. :)

Actually, it isn't a computer problem. It's a disc problem. I had to call EA and they sent me a digital download of the game. Works great! Call the number in the book and tell them about your problem.

That happend to me. jus get the high end loft stuff pack. when I got it stoped happening.
That happened to me so I just opened the disk drive, took out the disk and closed it again. Worked for me :D

I don't think you can. Every time you start a new game with different sims, everything else goes back to a sort of default setting - all the sims and their houses etc are they same and the new sims you have made will not be there.

Every time you create a family, they will appear in bin things when your in edit town. There should be a picture of them with an icon on the bottom right of the picture meaning you created that family. You can copy the family and put them in the same neighborhood that way. Just make sure that there a enough houses available!

I know how , you go to edit town and put one of the families in edit town mode and move them in. Go off edit town mode and go on the other family and get them to go to the family on edit mode's house and they can make friends! Good luck.
If you want to make them meet, always make them visit the park. Either you engineered the meeting or you can always let them meet on their own. If you make them go to the park all the time, it will become a habit for them to go there. They're sure to make friends.

Look out for bargains. I bought my Sims 3 that way. It was a special offer and I used a gift card, so the base game didn't cost me a cent ) and two of my expansion packs I bought at a website fot one third of the original price (cheap!). I am having the same problem! I moved a sim out then couldn't find her to play. So the next time I thought I'd try and make the moving out sim the 'active sim' as it gives you that option when you select to move. But when I did, all the households money got given to her? Which I didn't want. I'm confused about this.
What I did was: I turned off the Story Progression in the Options menu, this way they can't move out on their own. Then I had them move and picked a house for them, but did NOT select them as the active sim. Then I went into Edit Town and Switched Active Households. If you merge the household you dont have to buy it then get one of the sims you dont want, to use the phone and click move, then click the sims you want to move out, then click kick out
What I'll do is merge my SIMs with a family and then split them up. When they are on the clipboard, I place them in another house 'cos I still want to keep them in the town.

This is what I do, in edit town, I move my sim(s) in with this family. then I evict the family but not my sim(s), and move the family on the clipboard into another house. Then TADA! If the family is rich, you get their money and their house!
Try resetting the sims: in edit town mode, evict all of them and put them back in the house. you'll lose all promised and unpromised wishes. it may work as it's the easiest way to reset sims. if it doesn't work, create new stairs or sth

I had this issue more than a few times. I got all the sims to go do something without going up or down the stairs then sold the stairs and replaced the stairs. You could also try adding a new set of stairs else where is the house. I find in some cases where there are multiple sims trying to use the stairs they will all stand there with the stairs icon in their que and not do nothing and will continue to do this until you have them do something on the level they are on.

Make your sim go to the gym or buy gym equiptment and then exercise. I just noticed that if you chose the fattest body option when creating your sims, even if you exercise regularly the gain the weight back easily. I also got the metabolism life rewards to help my sim.

You can also get a reward from the lifetime rewards box. it's called the body sculptor. but if they were born overweight, they tend to gain the weight back quickly if you don't pay attention, so i'd suggest doing this and also adding the metabolism reward.
