Modify traits - Set or clear traits
If they have a mirror you can edit their hair/makeup.
You can also click on there dresser and click plan a outfit and you can change your clothes
Testingcheatsenabled true
shift click sim modify traits

Save up reward points then choose the reward midlife crisis :)
In edit town mode press ctrl-shift-c then type in testingcheatsEnabled true and hit enter. Then press shift and click on your sim. Click modify traits for active sim. Hope I helped. (:
For traits you cant really do it if you have created the sim n done its trait but you can because on your wish list you get point dont you? well if you get I think 30,000 or 40,000 you buy it and you can reset its traits its called middle age crisis .
for the appearance you go to buy dresser and thats where you customize your clothes and if you buy a mirror you can edit make-up and hair. :)

How do I change my Toddlers clothes? He grew up without a shirt on! I need help.

Your toddler needs to click on a dresser and he/she can plan their own outfits.
Be the toddler and click on the dresser like you would any other sim.
Get an adult Sim to teach it to walk then make the toddler walk to the dresser and click 'Plan Outfit'.

I don't know why they do this, but to get them to get on with their duties, wait until they put the book down, then go into buy mode and move the book into a room they've already cleaned.
Maybe your pc memory is full thats the same problem with me.
If your computer is not really advanced it just loads the game slower, but you could try going to game options and lowering the video performance

Yep. and you don't even need a cheat. You just need to get like 10,000 or 15,000 lifetime happiness and buy multitasker. Your Sim will be promoted quicker.

My Sim's career choice is Journalist. When you go to the Graveyard at night and see ghosts you can interview them and also become friends with them. After it turns daylight, it's like you never talked to the ghost. The interview and them being your friend has disappeared. My question is does anyone know if there is a cheat or are there certain skills that you need to be able to use their interview and keep their aquaintence?

The other person or your person is not in the mood. Yes its to much like real life. Make sure they are not hungry, to tired, just lost a friend or things like that.
Also, when I press woohoo my sim will go to the bed and he will be (relaxing) for a coulpe of seconds. then they will get under the covers and woohoo.
Woofoo? anyway, you can try having both your sims relaxing on top of the bed then tell one to woohoo and it should work. It just skips the making out step off of the bed.

There is a censor crack that gets rid of the fuzzinezz so you can see everything. All they look like is a Barbie or Ken doll though

Answer 2 is right, and the set age cheat is what some one did in their spare time to just pee every sims player off

You can't, you don't need to. you only need to buy a wardrobe from buy mode if one isn't already in the house. just use your sim and select plan outfit from the wardrobe to add clothing.

I'm sorry, no there isn't. When I first got the Sims 3 and when I was speeding up the speed on level four I was like " Um, it's the exact same speed as the third one... how is this different..?" But then I found out that when you click the fourth speed thingie it is the same speed as number three but when you're sim is finished doing the action it goes back to normal speed. Hope that helped! If you mean it didn't change, that might mean your num lock is off, which needs to be on. 4 isn't the same as 3, but yet only a little faster.
If you like to put money in the family fund,just press ctrl,hold the shift button,press c,and when the box apears type motherlode.
Those are just not real cheats!
Motherlode will work. FamilyFunds doesn't work. At least not for me.

Im having the same problem. I am wanting to maxmotives like in sims 2. the code sites say type "make happy" no luck at all, I then read on here to type "testingcheatsenabled true" it accepted the command, but the whole "shift + click mailbox" thing doesn't work. I am getting so irritated. good luck!

Omg, it only took me a few hours of research to figure this one out. you have to type "enablecheatstesting true" in the neighborhood view. then hold hte shift key down as you click on the mailbox once back on your lot...there are a bunch of cheat options available from the mailbox. I'm so happy to get htat one figured out!

I don't think so because if you ever heard about using shaazam it doesn't work.
There is a way and I use it all the time. First, you need to be on the main menu (Not in the active house yet). Hold Shift-Ctrl-C and a blue line will apear on top of the page. Write TestingCheatsEnabled True in the blue line. Then go to the active house. Hold Ctrl and click between the chest and the points. Each click will add +500 Reward points. Note: Do this while you are playing. It won't work if the game is paused.

With the "Generations" expansion pack they can, click the shower and select either "Try for baby with..." or "WooHoo with...". There has to be "an appropriate sim" on the lot for this to work. Hope your sims will have fun! :)

My sims look like people...some beautiful, some in between, and some not so great. The ones I create look the way I want them to. I just wish there was more hairstyles and clothes and stuff...some of the benefits the sims 1 and 2 had that made things easier.

Well if you dont think thier pretty go to thesims3.com and got to the exchange if you download some sims (for free) you get a whole custom stuff like I got randome wings and a lot of new outfits

I think the graphics are way better, but the attractiveness is based on how you create them to look like. They can become sometimes extremely beautiful if you get everything just right.
