I have the same problem as well, ie. losing my SIM's babies/toddlers and I'm not sure where they are. I've tried searching on every household to no avail. How do I get them back? Once the SIM has a bit of logic skill, and there is a chess board available where they are, use their mobile to invite a SIM over - 'next ranked chess opponent' will be an option. If they are at home, they will have to 'invite them in' once they arrive - even if the chess board is outdoors it seems. Click on the chess board once they are on the same lot, and there will be an option to challenge them. It's a good idea to chose a 'lucky day' if your SIM has that trait. Make sure they do start playing - I have gone off to another household member, only to find that the game never started!

Well, you can get 10,000 happiness points by pressing ctrl+shift+c then type in testingcheatsenabled on at the main menu, then if you press ctrl and click at the bottom of the lifetime happiness and you get points quicker, do this for both the sims and you can get the fertillity treatment. Next, once the woman is pregnant, read both the pregnancy books and eat 3 watermelons for girls or 3 apples for boys. This should work, but I didn't get twins when I did it, I got triplets instea which is sort of better but it's just the mother now ause her and the dad split.

You can merge them using "edit town" until they are "freinds" and "split household". Then the nonactive will show up on the active sim's list and could be invited over. Or you can visit the sims house until they are home. Note: the nonactive sim may move when you are not looking. -Answer by:shermda

I had the same problem and ended up having to install a better graphics card. Haven't had problem since. Sorry to say that this game costs more money after purchasing it in order to be able to play. By the way, I installed a NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500 GT card into my 3 yr old PC. ( around $100 in US on sale with installation included). Hope this helps. From a semi- computer literate 45 yr. old woman.

I used to play sims on my ps2 all the time. Sims on the computer is a lot different because you get kids, they go to school, you can have multi-story houses. It maybe a little addictive at first, trust me. It's a lot more fun on the computer. -Answer by:TrainerKay
