Or if a sim has the genius trait they can solve the unsolveable puzzels and get money for that.... or if a sim has the workaholic trait they can work from home on the computter, not sure if you have to have ajob for it though

PLEASE HELP! when I make a family and move them into a house or lot they wont get out of the taxi...this happens even when I try and play a pre made family.WHAT DO I DO?!

It's a glitch, and it happens with cars as well, if don't want your game to freeze up, don't give them any other actions, just choose some sims that already live in a house.
Just go in game options and turn off free will and that should solve your problem. x -Answer by:x Rio Skye x
This might Help - In the options section there is a section called game options. There is a control that effects the amount of free will you sim has. Make it have low free will and that might help. -Answer by:MuseM
Try lowering the freewill of the sims in options, it might be high I hope this helps, or else I don't know, sorry!

I think its related to how much money they had. A rich sim died and left a fancy looking grave, rather than the small one.

Your sim should be able to fish in any public water. There must be access to it. It helps if you have read a fishing book. Even swimming pools can produce fish. Click on water and "fish" should be an option. -Answer by:shermda

Hi all,
I have The Sims 3 for my PC. My question is the couple that I am playing I added a fence to their house but can’t get the gate to go. The game keeps saying it is either “OUT OF BOUNDS” or “OBJECT CAN’T BE PLACED ON A SLOPE.” Is there anything or any cheats that is pre-existing on here or another cheat I can use? I would love to complete their fence but it kind of looks silly without a gate.

There has to be a space open on each side of the gate for it to be placeable. You can level a section of ground for the gate using the "level" in the build mode. -Answer by:shermda

Your sim keeps aging because you have the aging on. Your sim ages every sim day which is 24 minutes. Go to the options and turn the aging off if you don't want your sims to age.

Ive had that problem before and the solution I figured out is to make one (or both) of them a hopeless romantic using testingcheatsenabled true. So when your talking to the romantic intrest click special and then hopeless romantic you may have to do some other actions before propose comes up. hoped that helped ")

While playing sims I wasnt paying attention and I was told iof my kids werent happy the goverment would take them so I made them happy and one of my kids went to yellow for a minute while in school so them they got home and I made her happy and then the goverment took her bc she was a child and my others are teens so my qeustion is can I get her back or do I never see her again?
