I turned on the "make all happy" cheat using the mailbox. but now their needs NEVER decrease. takes the fun out of it all. How do I turn it off again so the needs decline like normal?

You could have chosen "make needs static". If you did the option "make needs dynamic should switch it back. If you turn on "testingcheatsenabled true" then you can just drag the need bars to fulfil the needs.

You saved a new game after the old game. It'd be really cool if you could play more than one household in one game but you can't do that in any of the Sims so far. Maybe that'll happen in 4? Lol. You can have the Wolff person move into the original household and still get to play them all. If you have a big enough lot you can make each a little house and they can all live on their own with their spouses and children but that's the only way to do what you are wanting to do currently. I did that too. I tried making another household active and then going back, but that did not work. I had to save and quit and then start the game again and then it was there.

The baby doesn't blow them out. Get someone else to do the action and a list of all the sims in the house will come up. Click on the baby and a sim should hold the baby up to the cake and blow it out for them.

If they are still living in the town you can change your active household to theirs using "Edit Town".

FACEBLENDLIMITS is there something similar to this cheat in Sims 3? In Sims 2, you could use this when you were having babies to make your babies have traits of both parents and I want to use this for Sims 3 but can't yet. Help!

If you are using "create a Sim" to create the family you create the parents, and when you "add a child" there is a blend mixer. When the first child shows up you can click on each age and see what they will look like at each age. If you don't like what you see then click on the binkie and try again. -Answer by:shermda

Get an alienware - I had the same problem with my computer so I bought an alienware..problem solved :) I think it's b/c of lack of RAM and/or space on your harddrive or a combination of both. My computer was low on harddrive space and there wasn't enough RAM power to run Sims 3 plus everything else that's on my HP. BTW - my HP is a quad core computer with amazing graphics & video cards & etc..I just have too much stuff on it haha

In my sims3 game I had a girl sim move in with her boyfriend and weirdly her little brother...(the game wouldn't let me move out without him) for some odd reason everytime I get her boyfriend to propose for her she refuses, if she proposes her refuses. First in the create a family,create the sims + plus make an extra sim.So ok,make your sims die,except the extra sim.You keep all of the dead ones remains and then go to the science lab with the remains.Before you leave put the remains in the inventory.Your sim should come out the science lab and then go home.You could play as a ghost :) Do this to each of the family member,also do this to the extra one when you finish all the family members,but don't do anything with the extra one,that sim would die and you will have a sim family.

You can also reset your sim. do the control+Shift+C and type in " resetsim" then a space and then your sims first and last name like resetsim sandi french then hit enter and he should lose the tray.
