Well in the sims 2 you just click on he sim you want to propose to, and if the two sims have a strong enough relationship, then it comes up with 'get engaged'.

I don't know specifics yet, but since there will be new personality traits the way your sims may end up proposing could be different. A sim that has no sense of humor might not like a particular way another sim might propose, etc.

There are loads of answers some of them you didnt look at efficiently. If your two sims have build a special relasionship more on the romantic side you will be able to propose

I have Sims 3, but don't find an option to get marriage. Two Sims have perfect relations, bet I don't know how to make a marriage.

Go through and use a lot of "romantic" options, and it will eventually pop up.

1. Have good relationships with the other sim
2. click the other sim with your sim
3. go to romantic -> propose marriage
NOTE: I am pretty sure that you can not marry people who are already married or in your family. I have not tried though.

In the sims 3 proposal and marriage is a little different to have your sims marry to go a romantic location such as the beach or the park (I usually go in the evening) invite your love intrest over, spam all romantic interactions in turn, eventually new romantic interactions will pop up such as massage and whisper in ear e.t.c ask to go steady your lover will become your boyfriend/girlfriend then you can propose )

Once you go steady and they both have the age young-adult, then there should be the option propose in the romantic conversation tab.
If it isn't there try fooling around a bit by pressing a few other things in the romantic tab, so they get in the mood.

First, the smis need to be of age. Second, there is a teir. As the relationship grows, you must 'go steady', then propose, then choose a private or chapel wedding.

Well I had a perfect relationship with a girlfriend sim, she moved in, we had two babies, and I knew everything about her, she was single and had not had a divorce from anyone, yet even tho I went through every option no marriage option appeared for me which ruined it to be honest, but if anyone finds out different it would be nice to know.

There like personality and they can have up to 5 on your sim but you can accutully choose from about 70 of them lol

Sims, depending on how old they are, will have anywhere from 2 to 5 traits. A toddler will have 2, a child will have 3, a teen 4, and young adult on will have 5. They're going to be the new determining factor for how your sims act and react. There are going to be all sorts of traits such as genius, evil, crybaby, computer whiz, party animal, hates outdoors, kleptomaniac, paranoid, etc.

There will be a different number of little squares (depending on the age of your sim). You choose from a list of about 65 traits and create a completly unique sim. However, you cannot choose to traits that conflict with each other, such as lovesthe outdoors and hates the outdoors.

Whenever the maid or my sims carry a book outside the house, they always shout and ask for attendtion that they dont have space.
