the answer is creiston mines. you wont get there to there just yet until you progress in your main quests,like finding the underground maps,lucky james,mirabella etc.
30 lake flies from river farm at vernon forest,(it is near the druid and in middle of the lake you wont miss it), 10 royal snakes can be found at the managerie at greenwort(it is near the kitano fisherman dock).Please note that your scragg rage monster will only eat royal snakes and not red or green snakes.So you may have to buy more than 10 royal snakes. Leave the 10 royal snakes in castle garrison,remaining in your army.and feed it to unlock him.hope this extra mile helps.

Find the castle and in the left of it you will find a wooden platform when you step on it it will take you to the other part of the mine continue to the exit cant miss it
Stand on the platform just to the left of the bridge in front of the baron's castle then follow the passage under the waterfall.
When You reach castle on the left side is Elevator up. Take it and fallow the path
Next to the castle there's an elevator like thing you can step on. It took me a long time to find it too.
There's a platform left of the castle in the crieston mine which takes you to another part of the mine. Follow the path there to get to kordar.

He was at the forest just left side of the king mark castle(map), his nest is near the beach not far from the castle

The mine with Lucky James is in is on the same island as redbeard. Just go past redbread's house to the right and follow the trail up and around the island. There is a neutral guard standing outside of the mine.

Same island as redbeard's house. just follow the trail up from the house. But don't kill Lucky James just yet. Buy the maps, give the black coin, go back and talk with Redbeard to complete the quest, then kill Lucky James if you want to marry his wife--Mirabella. :)

My game actually crashed the first time I tried to kill the turtle... I couldn't move any of my mobs or do anything except reload etc. When I came back to it again it was fine..
Yes, same thing happened to me. I quit the combat, then entered again and it worked

To fight the turtle, you need to hover your mouse either to his head or chest or legs.To do that,ur melee units have to go close to it.If not,the attack symbol will not appear.My advise to clear the turtle boss is to have 3 ranged units or maybe 4 up to you.I took archmagi from greenwort magic tower, inquisitors from furious paladin (marshan swamp), Priest also from greenworth, and archers.Of course you may want to have offensive spells although the turtle have high resistances,it helps.Rmb,use ranged units.Because your melee units will be damaged massively if its near.if you use ranged units,it only earthquakes everyone in a minimal damage style.hope this helps.

I guess it is a bug. I had the same problem. I loaded a previously saved game, I continued to play, to finish quests, to become stronger and then I returned to that island. and it was working and I passed forward.
No I don't have the bug. Just walk up and start hitting. With "bosses", you'll not be able to use "spirits".
If you minimize it and then maximize it occurs alot, so recommended to save before you minimize and load it when you maximize it, that way no problems
Had the same problem and yes its a bug...The answer is simple : Don't talk to the shaman orc just simple walk towards the circle and he will then talk to you and summon the turtle...If you cant see the turtle during the chat with the orc then the game will freeze controls when you fight it but if you do c it then you will fight and Good Luck with it !

There are actually many clickable torches. They're probably to mislead you, but it does feel like a bug when you click one and nothing happens.
Anyway, the correct torch is on the left as you go in. You'll see the outline of a door next to it. Just stay left and check every torch.

Go to the lower harder to the castle horwest near it you will see a suplly through it get to the upper harder and then you can get to the cyclops cave
You dont you kill him(and it isn't hard)
Follow the main quest, once the king asks you to go execute Baron Ahey, then you will be able to get into the mines
If you're talking about the Dwarven (Creiston) mines, you need the proper quest from Mark after the Islands of Freedom quests (It's a crown quest on the log).
If you mean Lucky James' mine, the hut on the shore of the island it's on has a quest where you will learn the password.

At freedom islands I killed both lucky and the kraken and when I talk with mirabella to get my reward as soon as I say, lucky and the horrible kraken are dead the game just closes itself is it a bug I need help fast please?

everytime I drag the mouse over the enemy I want to attack it just transform into a ?
so I cant attack.
but I can press the auto attack button but seriously the troops sucks thinking by themselves.

There is a digging tool in the lower right hand side of the screen, whenever you find a beam of light shoot up from the ground, use that tool there and you should find it in no time!

It's an old boot found by digging where you see shafts of light a chest comes up..there is of course more than 1 chest to be found

When you have bought a boat from the merchant infront of the castle, go right and you should see a big portal in the sea...if you cant seem to find it sail around the outside of the western island then consult your map. When you look on your map there should be a a wave like icon in the sea, thats the portal
