Swing as hard as you can from the vine, towards the top of the plane. When you jump off the vine, make sure you double jump and you will make it.
A2:
It isn't so hard actually. You have to jump over the scorpions then jump to the vines then on the second one you have to swing just a little bit harder and you will make it.
When you throw the switch run immediately onto the rotating tower, but stay towards the bottom of the ramp facing outward. Watch for a glimpse of a bridge in the bottom of your screen and when you see that jump down. It will put you into the next area of the towers and then you have to run past the porcupines and hop onto the columns jumping from one to another (if you want to reach the idol), otherwise you can just get out of the towers by going past the porcupines through to the next level.

You have to go on the other bridge and battle the porcupines then there's almost like A secret passage-way that blends in with the big wall on the side.
Look for the colorful bushes and run through them. The birds will fly away. Each bush you run through makes one of the statues rise. You have to go on both sides of the "Battered Bridge" -Answer by:nasquaw
There are birds that have to be flushed out of bushes on both sides of the bridge. Each time birds are flushed another statue rises. One bird is particularly hard to find on top of column on same side as healing water. Walk along top of wall until you can jump on columns.

The one I had a hard time finding was on the side with the monkeys. just under the bridge there is a shaman, on the other side of that ledge is a bird too. -Answer by:VegasJay
To kill penguins, just jups whne them come out from the nest and then spin so you can kill then.... and for the frozen blocks jump toward them the spin then nthey shound break and you will land on the ground
You have to run around in mama-oullo tower area, and flush out birds.

You have to knock birds out of bushes and each time you knock one out one bird statue rises (birds are only found at battered bridge on both sides of the bridge). when you knocked out all of the bird statues the Idol will rise
Go to where the rings of fire are on both sides. Right in front of the fire there is like a bowl of something, put your torch to it and it will get you into the temple. Make sure you do both sides. Be ready to be a monkey.
Look for the colorful bushes and run through them making the birds fly away. There are bushes on both sides of the bridge. Each time you run through and the birds fly, one of the statues will rise. After you get them all the Idol will rise up. -Answer by:nasquaw

The 2 that are the hardest to find are: on the side with the monkeys, just below the first platform of the bridge is a ledge. down the you will find a shaman, also on the other side of the ledge is a bird. the other difficult one is on the other side of the bridge. it is up on the right pillar at the end of the ramp. -Answer by:VegasJay
You have to chase Harry, and when you are within distance, shake the WII remote (this makes you jump on him like the other baby monkeys). Do this 4 times before the time is up and you will change back to Harry.
You will need TNT. You can get it from Mole in Apu Illapu Shrine. You can also get it from under the plane. It will kill both the baby and the mother monkey [The TNT will be in the snowey montains]
Your best shot is just to avoid the baby monkeys, but if you can't, here's what you do. When a baby monkey jumps on you it will hang there then the mama monkey will kick you. You can kill her with TNT, or you can hold her off with the Breakdance Strike (you get it from the shaman shop) or the pickaxes (hold b and shake the wii remote).
There is a small piece of ice somewhat close to the guys throwing bombs. from there, you jump to the big glacier in the middle of the screen (and you will need the pick to do this). once on top of the glacier, use the hero dive to get the next glacier. from there, jump on the ice with the henchmen
You have to bust the urn with the bushman in in and have the bushman follow you onto the place that lowers the door, he will stand there and you can get the idol behind the door.
You have to double jump onto each crock then onto the land. If you land in the water, they will eat you, but if you swim really fast, sometimes they don't get you!
You need to jump on each croc. Some take a single jump some need two jumps. I have noticed in some places you can walk on the water a little then jump.
At the Puchan Shrine there is a web you need to burn with the torch and then you would of had to have purchased the mystery item from the shaman and the game is the mystery item. Inside you will find a Atari system and Harry will insert the game.
Kill all the renegades first as this will keep them from killing you. go to the tower that you swing to from the vine, pull the switch then get back on the vine and swing to the platform by the tree. jump to the next platform, jump to the vine and swing to the platform where the gate is and roll under the gate. you are on a timer so you have to be quick to make it in time. I turned the volume down on my tv and made it afer a few attempts. (the timer distracted me).
You get the torch from Nicola when you release her from the tree (the mouth of init) knock down the stand with your sling when the stand collapses jump across onto the boulder then across to the grass area, Nicola is stuck up the tree use your sling to release her, she will then give you the torch, GOOD LUCK -Answer by:snowqueen1
You get the torch when you rescue Nicole. You have to go to Bittenbinder's camp. He'll give you a sling, then go back to the Alters of Huitaca and hit the electrical sparks on the plane engine to turn the prop towards the ledge. Then jump up on the prop to go down the path.
You start on the ceiling, so you have to crawl down the wall and then go over to Harry and sting him by wiggling the controller back and forth. Then climb back onto the ceiling. You make the stones fall on top of Harry to stun him again by crawling over the holes above Harry's head. When you've stunned him again, crawl back down to the floor to sting him.
You get the sling from Bittenbinder...you have to go past Alters of Huitaca, Big Tree, and Statues of A. Heroic Dash you get from Quickclaw (talking Jaguar) in the flooded courtyard. And the raft is in the snowy moutains.
Find "Cavern Lake". Croutch and spin kick the opening. Roll through.
Find the Health water. Use your sling and hit the Ice palm tree. It will topple over to expose the explorer. -Answer by:nasquaw
First, you have to go to both of the firey circles (on the opposite side of the level from where you start), light the round thing in front of them, and it will open the door to the Monkey Temple.
Get in the canel and go to the far side of the room. there is a man under the platform there that controls the lights. you have to kill him. wait until the lights go out and run around under the platform and kill him. you can then get the slingshot
Go back to the area when you first entered this area by the health pool. go to the path by the end of the steps and go through to the other side. you will have opened a path this way when you pulled the switch. there are alot of porcupines in here so have your shield ready to kill them. there is an exit in here that will take you to the flooded courtyard.
You have to swim over to a landing then go up the slant and kick the tree down then you cross to the next landing and you do the same once you cross the tree you will recive the rising strike
Once you get there, go to the other side ..there will be a frozen tree..hit the narrow part with the sling and then it will fall and crush the ice wall..on the other side is the raft
To get to the Mountain overlook, you have to go through the Eyes of Doom. Then, you have to become a scorpion and stop Harry (similar to when you were a monkey)
