Far Cry 2
A1:

Are you using vista or xp? if vista go to your game folder and find far cry 2 then right click on it and click save game, and then just copy that file over. I have no clue on xp, and windows 7 should be the same as vista.
A2:

If you are using windows7, find the folder named 'My Game' in Document(make sure that there is a folder named 'FarCry2' inside that.)in your old disk and then copy that folder(My Game) to the Document of your new hard disk.

It must be a bug/glitch with the Buddy-Merc dissapearing. I've had my Best Buddy who gives the (blue) approach/alternative to the normal (red) mission not show up inside the Safe-House where he's supposed to be in although map indicates he's there. I had to load a save-file before him giving me a phone-call to make him appear in the safe-house twice so far. Waste of 30 min total, I don't like this glitch...
P.S. I've got version 1.02

If you have a vista computer go to the games secton and drag the shortcut to your desktop then you should be able to run the game.

Don't exactly remember the number of diamonds but when you are at the weapon shop you can find out there. It would be mentioned next to the weapon which you wish to purchase.
Hint: To get more diamonds quickly. Take up missions from the gang leaders at the cease fire zones rather than accepting missions from elsewhere.

It makes it so you can sneak up to enimies closer without them noticing you and as soon as you purchase it i'm pretty sure your guy already is wearing it and it's always activated
You have to kill every merc in the area first
There is a few doors on that building I think if not you can do one of two: make sure that you've done the scouting part of the mission or check to see if there is an area that's all wooden planks, if it is there then chop and break through it using your machete
Yes, you have to kill them all. Go check each one to make sure he is not still alive laying on the ground.
A1:

Stand on top of the water tank where the sniper was, face north and look on top of the mountain in front of you. Use your scope and look. I think there is a hand glider up there facing your way.

Play a lot of ranked matches. The ranked matches arn't for fooling around (mainly player matches are for thatr stuff). If you die a lot you, don't get much xp, but if you get a lot of kills then your xp will go up. Get It?. HOPE IT HELPS :)
SecureROM, is that like some software they install along with the game to keep you from pirating it? Daaang, why are they spoiling all our fun with stuff like this !
Just read this at the Ubisoft web site.
* Purchasers have up to 5 activations on 3 separate PCs
* Uninstalling Far Cry 2 "refunds" an activation this process is known as "revoke" (as long as you properly uninstall the game, you'll be able to re-install it an unlimited number of times on the 3 machines)
*A computer can be upgraded an unlimited number of times (using "revoke")
*Ubisoft is willing to provide additional activations, if necessary
So it doesn't seem that bad to me.

My suggestion, Don't buy the disk copy if you are purchasing it for PC. Buy a copy off of a program called Steam (found at www.steampowered.com) It is a program made by Valve (Developers of the Half Life series, Team Fortress, Portal, Left 4 Dead, etc...) to distribute their games, but recently other companies are putting their games on it (including Ubisoft). Far Cry 2's current price on Steam is $30 and you get infinite downloads of the game to an infinite number of computers and you do not need a disk to play, not only that but it works with an 'overlay' and lets you chat (even VOIP) with other friends who are playing the same game (or even a different game/program) and it also tells you what game they are playing. Not only that! Theres more (wow I am starting to sound like a guy on a commercial), Steam has a sale on a different game every single weekend, and it is not a lame 5-10% sale, it is almost always a 50-75% sale (no typo there) in fact I bought Far Cry 2 for $15 while it is $50 in stores! I believe that was two weekends ago, they also had a Left 4 Dead sale for $25 a month or two ago, and another one is anticipated soon. Anyway, point is, Steam is where I get all of my computer games because it is a much better deal and you get infinite installs!
Using them lots should help ... duh !
You can buy accuracy and reliability upgrades for them. Weapons in the game become more unreliable with prolonged use though. And drpped weapons are usually pretty banged up.
Duh! not using them lots. you have to buy upgrades, as a matter of fact if you use them a lot they get rusty and old and less reliable, then you have to get new ones.
You go to weopon menu and press RB 2 or 1 times and the upgrades shud be there on the screen
When you buy a new gun, the two upgrades to that gun will not be available to buy until you checkout. When you buy a new gun and you go thru checkout, go right back into the computer and you will see them. The available upgrades to all guns are
Accuracy.....about 3-6 diamonds
Reliability....about 3-6 diamonds

Asked this question as a guest but didn't see it posted anywhere so...here it is again after logging in: I've read the cheats on FarCry2 and cannot find anywhere where it tells/shows how to "Start game with -DEVMODE" or where you type in the passwords for bonus missions. I went to the main menu, "Additional Content" but none of the codes seem to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.?

Alright, heres your answer, what you do is right click on your shortcut (if you don't have a shortcut make one, this will not work on the actual executable file) and you will see a path or location, it should say something like this (including the quotes): "C:/Programs/Ubisoft/Far Cry 2/somethingorother" (not sure what goes there as I do not currently have access to my computer) modify the shortcut to say: "C:/Programs/Ubisoft/Far Cry 2/somethingorother" -DEVMODE
The -DEVMODE must be outside the quotes. Hope it helps, also if that doesn't work then try taking out the space between the " and -DEVMODE so instead of " -DEVMODE, it should read "-DEVMODE. One of those two should work.

Deathmatch is like a free-for-all, everybody for themselves.
Team Deathmatch speaks for itself kill as many opposition as possible.
Uprising is the new game mode. It consists of Domination (from CoD 4 where you have to capture 3 flags and sustain points) and VIP. The idea is that your VIP is to capture the 3 points while the opposing VIP tries to do so. You cover your VIP while they capture areas. When you have captured all 3 areas the hunt is on for your team to kill the opposing teams VIP in order to win the match.
Capture the diamond is like capture the flag, requiring tactics and firepower.

That single player has a story and multiplayer well, you can play online,do some different modes of play with your freinds, can make or choose a class with different weapons, and you will have more fun. -Answer by:KingLeo

Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Diamond and Uprising.
Capture the Diamond mode seems cool, like capture the flag between teams, stealing diamonds. What's not to like there !

Door to either APR or UFLL is always closed by default. There should be a guard standing in front of it if a mission is available from that faction. If the door is unaccessible with no guard to talk to, then go try another mission/faction.
A1:

Yes if you copy your guns and dimonds folders then have them stored in a new file start a new game. save then go to the folder where your guns and dimonds
are stored paste them in the new game file then when you start you should have the guns(if this doesnt work im sorry it worked for me)
